If I could give 0 stars I would. We started in January 2024...and loved it! Recommended it to everyone...then came the new owners. We went through 5 or 6 coaches(honestly could have been more but for sure not less). My daughter tried out and made pre team...we decided against it when we were told it would start in July...well July came and went and nothing. Pretty sure pre team didn't start until September. My daughter moved up to beginner 2 and her first day in the class she was bullied by another student and told to stop doing what the coach told her to do and pushed her, the coach did nothing. My daughter's shoes were stolen and they did nothing...just told me to take the other child's pair of shoes after class. The a few weeks later her coach came out and approached me at my car rudely about my daughters crocs and then tried to insinuate that we took someone else's. The second to last class we were at the coach for beginner 1 was sitting on the floor just talking to a student not helping the other children with their stations and making sure they were doing things correctly. During conditioning the coaches don't watch the kids to make sure they are doing things safely...instead they just sit and talk with themselves. When I brought this to their attention I was told "since it wasn't brought to their attention when it happened they couldn't do anything". I told them we would not be returning, after already being gone for 2 weeks and was told I had to stay until the end of the month. We haven't been back in 4/5 weeks and they are still trying to charge me. I had to put a block through my bank so they couldn't charge me and call them to reiterate I wasn't paying and we would not be returning. They also gave me the run around for 2 days about canceling. They just want your money and do not care about the children. Editing to add that as of today, December 25th they are still trying to charge me when I cancelled with them over a month ago! read more

I raised a serious safety concern and instead of they acknowding my concerned they completely brushed it off and framed it as if it was a "behavior problem" TO A FOUR YEAR OLD LOL. My safety concern wasnt acknowledged and my suggestion to make the place more kid friendly was met with disregard too. So the COLD attitude of emails is why im cancelling. I did not expect them to move the stars and sun for me, i just wanted to be heard and it seems like they just used CHATGPT to reply to me LOL without a care of what i had to say. The first serious issue was when my daughter's necklace--a meaningful and personal item--was taken off by one of their temporary coaches and never returned. It was essentially stolen. I was never contacted, the necklace was never handed over to staff, and no one took any accountability. When I brought it to the owner's attention, he was completely dismissive and rude. He offered no apology, no solution, and acted as if theft by his staff wasn't his concern. That was a huge red flag. The second major issue was when my daughter broke her arm. I personally went to the facility and handed in a doctor's note explaining she wouldn't be able to attend. Despite this, they continued charging me for the months she didn't attend. When I asked for a refund, they claimed they couldn't do anything because I didn't send an email--completely ignoring the fact that I had spoken to them in person and provided medical proof. They still have not made it right. What's worse is that even some of their former coaches have said this place has a reputation for keeping money they shouldn't and refusing to issue refunds. That's theft, plain and simple. Between the stolen necklace and the money they refuse to return, this place has proven to be dishonest and untrustworthy. I would never recommend this school to anyone. They do not care about their students or their families--only the money. read more

We came in today for our first class aimed at younger toddlers. The location is very easy to find and they had a nice parking lot with plenty of parking spots. But upon arrival, there was no one at reception. We stood there for a while before someone came and let us know to go to another room and take off our shoes. The course consisted of some stretching, walking the balance beams and doing the trampoline track. It was all very odd, the gym didn't seem super safe as there were big cutouts in the mat which could cause littles to trip and fall and the pathways were a bit narrow and caused me to worry for my toddler- should she fall because of the said cutouts and hit her head against a metal part. Overall, I don't think the rigid outline of this class was the best fit for my little. I had hoped that this would be similar to the open play option offered at other gyms or even Gymboree. But it really seemed much more geared towards much older kids. read more

This gym's recreation problem is awful. We went for about a year. The facility is dirty and loud. The rec coaches more or less ignore the kids and chat. They do not demonstrate the skills nor do they truly instruct. A tremendous proportion of the class is spent waiting in line for the other students to walk the beam, jump on the springboard, etc. We have since started at another gym where the coaches are extremely engaged and the girls are always moving and never standing around. I am convinced that this rec program does nothing more than subsidize the competitive program. I watched instructors arrive late for their classes. I've seen the management refuse to prorate for classes shortened due to instructor absence. Wish we had never wasted our money here now that we know better programs are nearby. read more

Hello, EBG was our home for very happy years. Our daughter, who was in their competitive Optional team looked forward to going there every single day. After the gym lost all their coaches and 98% of their athletes on the same day, we decided to stay and observe the brand new coach that was hired to give her a try. We were immediately distraught by our firsthand observations and what our daughter later reported. Coach Kimmy decided to sit, chat with another adult, and eat while all our girls were on the bars doing high risk skills that required spotting. Most of the time not even looking at the athletes right in front of her because she was too busy talking. This is UNSAFE and NOT OKAY!!!! There were also reports from multiple athletes including our daughter of not being coached during their warm-up and other events and giving long breaks of doing "nothing" which we confirmed since our daughters were texting us during these alleged long breaks. I don't recommend EBG. It is not a safe or well staffed place to send your athletes. If you're still considering sending your athlete, I would really look in to the qualifications of the coach for the level you are seeking. read more

LONG STORY SHORT-DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM-SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME I had an extremely disappointing experience at this gymnastics gym. The coaches were consistently late to practice, which set a bad tone for the entire session. It felt like they weren't prepared or interested in teaching the athletes, as they appeared distracted and disinterested throughout the practice. There was a serious lack of professionalism in the way the gym was run, and it made me question the overall quality of training being provided. I did express my concerns and were told that it takes "months of change to RE-TRAIN" staff and the entire program. What was even more concerning was the safety aspect. The gym equipment wasn't maintained properly, and there were several instances where coaches didn't actively supervise the kids on more advanced apparatus, which made me feel like the environment was unsafe. It's really troubling when you can't even trust the staff to prioritize safety and proper form. The staff, often made up of students or part-time coaches, lack the experience and maturity required to provide a safe and focused atmosphere. Coaches often seem more interested in socializing or attending to their personal distractions than in guiding the athletes through their training. This lack of commitment is evident when practice starts late or when athletes are left to work on routines/stations without proper supervision. The gym itself often feels more like an afterthought, with equipment that's not consistently checked for safety or functionality. Athletes are sometimes left to their own devices, trying to figure out routine/stations or correct mistakes on their own because the coaches aren't paying close attention. The coaches' lack of expertise and engagement becomes more apparent when they fail to address minor mistakes or overlook areas where athletes could improve. This lack of professional oversight creates an environment where the focus shifts from growth and safety to just "getting through the practice." The clear focus of this gym is to take the money from the customer/member at any cost rather than take in consideration of concerned parents to improve the cultures, environment and education. I do not recommend this gym to anyone. There are plenty of other places that take both the sport and the well-being of their athletes seriously. There is a lack of accountability and missed opportunity for developing athletes in skill and growth. Its very clear that this organization is lacking LEADERSHIP or any business intelligence. My family and I were part of East Bay for the past 5-years. My daughter is a level 10/jr elite gymnast, i worked there. There was a crew of us that did a lot with nothing, for not very much. The new owners took over last year, and I do think they tried to make improvements and do the right thing. Problem is they know nothing about gymnastics. They rubbed many of the seasoned & knowledgeable employees the wrong way and made it clear that they don't need them, and they can leave. This toxicity festered to all areas of the gym. There were a lot of bad optics, particularly the mistreatment of head coach...the reason why everyone was there and why people came to EBG. While they gave the perception of taking her opinion into consideration, they did what they wanted. She was essentially slave labor, working 70-hours a week, keeping their business a float. They were dangling a raise and health benefits the past year, with who knows what actual intentions. The breaking point was them wanting essentially a private coach for their lower level daughter and having unrealistic expectations for this already over worked coach. The head coach finally came to her breaking point, and left. Almost the entire team left. I had planned on continuing to work at EBG, but instead of stating the truth, like we had a differing of opinions, they spewed lies and blame and called the cops on coaches accusing them of stealing. Ask yourself, what does it say when all of your seasoned employees quit and 60+ kids on your team quit. read more

I wanted to share my bad experience over at East Bay Gymnastics. I wouldn't normally post but I am truly concerned about the safety of our children at this place. After numerous complaints I cancelled last night. There has been a change of ownership and the new team has no idea what they are doing. The coach's show up 5 plus minutes late to the classes while kids just sitting there. In class they let the kids do running and jumping and land however they want. They will let them jump of the beams however they want. They do not assistant with handstands. At this point I have witnessed to many close calls to let this continue and wanted to let our community know. When we complained about this, this was what the management team said: "Change does not happen overnight. It takes months to get coaches re-trained and to change a whole program." I'm sorry but our children are not Guinea pigs. Please be aware this is not the same wonderful place it used to be. read more

Terrible Experience with New Ownership - Don't Recommend East Bay Gymnastics We have been loyal supporters of East Bay Gymnastics for years, but the recent change in ownership has been a disappointment and a shock to our gymnastics community. When the new owners took over, they made big promises: hiring qualified coaches, improving the gym, and creating a positive environment. But sadly, their actions have proven quite the opposite. The head coach, who is truly the heart and soul of East Bay Gymnastics, was treated terribly under this new management. She worked long, unsustainable hours with no healthcare or adequate support, all while being the backbone for our athletes and families. It's clear that the new owners prioritized advancing their personal interest and did not respect the coaches judgement and evaluation in terms of appropriate training needed for the level and skills assessment. Instead of investing in the gym's overall quality, the focus was skewed towards individual gain, damaging the atmosphere that had been carefully built over the years. Our head coach established an incredibly tight-knit community, supported not only by athletes but by parents as well. Families went out of their way to help her address challenges due to long hours or lack of benefits and support because we could see the dedication she poured into every athlete. Despite all of this, when the toxic environment created by the new owners became unbearable, the head coach and several others made the difficult decision to leave. What the owners failed to understand is that we didn't come to East Bay for the gym itself; we came for the culture and support our coach fostered, and it was only natural to follow her when she left. To add to this list of grievances, the owners stooped to shocking lows when many families decided to move on. They refused to return competition leotards we had already paid for, lied about their whereabouts, and even called the cops on coaches collecting their belongings--all while classes with young kids were ongoing, causing anxiety and fear among parents and athletes alike. On top of that, they denied refunds for future competition fees, even though the competition season has yet to begin. East Bay Gymnastics under the new ownership has lost its way. The gym no longer embodies the values it once had. If you're considering this gym, I urge you to think twice. We, along with most families, have moved on to a place that truly values its coaches, athletes, and community. The new owners lack integrity, and it's sad to see a place we loved become unrecognizable. I would NOT recommend East Bay Gymnastics to anyone read more

The owner is a thief and liar. Let me explain.. the head coach at the time, Coach Lisa, decided to leave the gym because of issues with the new owners, plus more things I probably do not know of, so I can't speak to that. However, what I can talk about is my personal experience. We decided to leave the gym in October and follow the coach since it was in the best interest of our daughter. Our daughter was thriving both physically and mentally under her leadership and that has nothing to do with the facility. In the meantime, we had paid our 2025 meet dues ($1,500) in August, for the upcoming meets in January, plus our daughter's custom competition leotard and warm-ups ($650). Unfortunately, the owners would not refund for the meet fees, and would not give me the leotard we paid for. My first mistake was withdrawing from EBG before picking up our leotard. I never assumed that the owner would keep the leotard, especially since it's custom and skin matched to my child! We paid, for it, they had it but chose not to give it to us. The leotards arrived at EBG, on Saturday, October 5th - Most Optional gymnasts picked them up that day/weekend, we did not since we were out of town that weekend for a level 5 meet (my daughter will be competing as an optional in 2025). Monday, October 7th - Head Coach announces she's leaving the gym Wednesday, October 9th - We withdraw from the program. My mistake, I didn't think someone would be so vindictive to steal from a child. I should have got the leotard, then withdrew. Friday, October 11th - I went into EBG with my daughter to pick up the $650 leotard we paid for. Dennis' (owner) response - we don't have it. I don't know where it is. It's not here. Then later hearing from another parent, he said he didn't know what he was doing with the custom leotards he still had but regardless they were the property of EBG now. Now, how does that work out? In my mind when you keep something that doesn't belong to you, that's called theft. (inner monologue). Umm...okay, so you're just going to steal the leotard that I bought because you're so bitter that people decided to leave and follow a well-respected and loved coach? Of course, we requested our money back that was being held for the 2025 meet season. The money is held in reserve until meets have to be paid for. Keep in mind that I requested the money back in October 2024, and the first meet of the season wasn't until January 2025. So NO MONEY was put towards meets at this point. The response I received from the owner Dennis: He said my CHILD signed a CONTRACT stating the funds were NON-REFUNDABLE. I even asked my daughter (11 years old), did the gym ever have you sign anything? Not that it would ever stand up in court, but I was just curious. As expected, my daughter said no, so he just LIED about it, trying to find a way to justify keeping our money. You would think, this is a joke, or an exaggeration, but's not, I honestly wish it was. It's just an unethical person taking advantage of a family that made the best decision for their child. People can't always control circumstances, but you can control how you respond to them. In this case, I just feel so sad, sad, that something would stoop so low, and have a lack of character and ethics. When leaving the gym, I never asked for a refund for the rest of October's tuition, in my mind, that was a loss. Nor did I ask for the money that was being used for the current 2024 meet season (October - November). My daughter was in her level 5 season. I only asked for what was held in reserve, $1,500 for her level 7 2025 meet season, and the leotard we paid for but never received. When signing up, ask yourself, do you want to support a business that is willing to do this to a family that's trying to make the best decision for their child? read more

I've been a high level gymnast here for many years and recently I made the decision to leave due to the lack of respect to one of the great coaches who has made the decision to leave. It's a very unprofessional and unorganized company. If your looking for a competitive gym, I wouldn't recommend here, if you are planning on coming here ask what the coaches actually qualifications are and do yourself a favor and google these coaches because everything there going to tell you is lies. read more

I've been holding off on writing this review, but I can no longer stay silent. East Bay Gymnasts used to feel like our home away from home. Our daughter is a competitive gymnast who trained 24 hours a week there. We initially chose this gym because of an optional coach who made significant improvements to our daughter's form and mental confidence. However, after the gym changed ownership, things took a turn for the worse. What seemed promising at first quickly fell short of expectations. The coaches appeared overworked and often got sick due to their heavy workloads. With limited coaching staff, the gymnasts frequently had to take days off from training that we were all paying for. On particularly hot days, training was canceled because the gym lacks air conditioning, and we still had to cover those costs. When the coach--who was the main reason we chose East Bay--decided to leave, we felt it was time to cut our ties with the gym as well. Unfortunately, the owner, Dennis, and his wife are essentially holding us hostage. They refuse to refund the assessment fees we paid for the 2025 season. Despite the fact that they never paid for the competitions and that the money was just sitting there, they chose not to do the right thing. Instead, they have made false claims about our coach retiring soon and insisted that the assessment fees are non-refundable. We never signed any contract outlining a non-refundable policy, and I would understand if we were in-season, but the season doesn't even start until January! Please do yourself and your daughter a favor and steer clear of East Bay Gymnastics. The new owners seem more focused on their daughter's growth and financial gain rather than on ensuring your daughter's safety and well-being. read more

We paid them thousands of dollars over our time at the gym and they did not take the high road when we were forced to leave given the departure of our girls beloved coach. Money that had been set aside for meets and costs for 2025 were not returned- we never signed documents stating we agreed to a non-refundable policy. Despite this the gym owners took thousands of dollars intended to support young gymnasts. The gym did not communicate transparently nor take the high road when given that opportunity. DO NOT COME HERE!! Whatever great things you have heard about East Bay Gymnastics is no longer the case. The gym has new owners and they don't know a thing about SERVICE, GYMNASTICS , and most importantly SAFETY. Dennis Havrilla and his wife Monse have taken money that isn't theirs and are refusing to refund thousands of dollars that belong to families for the 2025 USAG Meet Schedule. He owes us $1500.00 in funds for my daughter's level 7 meets. Not only that but also not giving my child the competition uniform that was paid for ($680.00) months ago. There was a mass exodus from the gym because their losing the ONLY Optional coach they had was good enough reason to depart and find a different gym for the athletes. The coach btw, was the only reason we all stayed even as things progressively got worse. The lack of support for our coach had been brought up multiple times throughout the year to no avail. Dennis was busy turning every single conversation about himself. As parents of athletes--do you choose to stay for a coach or a gym owner? The coach is who nurtures and fosters growth. Expecting families to pick an owner vs a coach is narcissistic in my opinion. If you do decide that you want to engage with EBG here is what you can count on. Competitive Gymnastics: *No qualified coaching staff to coach Optional level. *Equipment and Insurance Fees $600+yearly. (No other gym in the Bay area charges this.) *Monthly tuition is in par with gyms in the area. However; don't plan on having air conditioning. *Poor communication. Plan on guessing if the gym is open or closed every holiday. Yes there's a calendar the tricky part is that it never includes all members. Again, keep guessing. Recreational Classes/ Toddler Classes: *Critters live there..it's dirty. Don't let the new purple paint fool you. *Ask for proof of background checking on their staff. It's been a revolving door with coaches. I personally trust nothing they say and do. read more

I am sad to give such a low rating, but I feel an obligation to let others know what is happening at this gym. It is under new ownership and unfortunately, the decline has been fast and furious. Once a thriving gym for artistic girls gymnastics, it is now practically empty. Our child was taking Acro lessons, which is a very specific form of gymnastics, and the qualified coaches for this sport have left. Also, the best of their girls artistic coaches have left the gym, which is really unfortunate for the athletes. It is a time of incredible turmoil and change, so just know that going in. If you are trying to start Acro lessons, I would pick a different gym. If your child is a lower level girls artistic athlete, this might be a good fit for you. I have not heard great things about the coaches that remain at the gym, but I have had no personal contact, so I will leave it up to you whether you want to take a chance. While we were at the gym, there were always way too many athletes per qualified coach, which highlights mismanagement at the ownership level. To me, it was always a safety concern and I never did see a plan in place to balance out the ratio of athletes to coaches. Ultimately it is your call, everyone has a different experience. In my opinion, the new owners say all the right things, but don't follow through on promises. I sincerely hope that changes because this gym was amazing and turned out college scholarship level athletes! Unfortunately, that is not the case anymore. read more

Just like one of the people in here posted a few days ago: I am sad to give such a low rating but I too feel an obligation to let others know what is happening at this gym. Under the new ownership, things have gotten extremely stressful, difficult, chaotic, and unsafe for our young athletes and the families. There has been a mass exodus of coaches, athletes and families and for good reason. The new owner is an investor who doesn't care or understand his own investment. He failed to see the importance of customer service and the long term effects of how he deals with his customers and his employees. The lead coach there, bless her heart, was having to work unsustainable amount of hours because employee recruitment and retention was terrible. She left and no one can blame her. She dedicated herself through her work with all our athletes. My daughter was a competitive gymnast there and ever since the new ownership we have seen a massive decline in everything from morale, coach to athlete ratios, safety, and communication. His focus became to bring in new families through their recreational program and the use of social media to portray a wonderful place for new athletes. He forgets that retention and customer service are also most important. On the very same week he lost almost all the compulsories and optionals, he also managed to dissolve the acro program by calling police on them because they were taking their own personal belongings. Perhaps if he had spent time getting to know and build a strong relationship with his employees and the families he served all this could possibly been avoided. read more

I always check Yelp and the one time I don't we end up at East Bay gymnastics. Like many have mentioned before no one was at reception when we arrived at least behind the desk that is. There was a young lady standing on the outside, who did not greet us, but I assumed worked there. I introduced my son and myself and asked if there was anything we needed to do prior to his first class and she said no and just told us to wait in the hall for class to start. We do so, I am finding it strange that all the kids in the class appeared to be 3 & 4 and my son is 7 which I was totally confused by but there was no one there to talk to. So my son proceeded to participate and about 10 minutes in they were splitting the kids into groups using a role sheet when the instructor realized my son was not in that class. At that point reception had arrived and was asking my 7 year old for his information, I walked over and explained there was no one at reception when arrived that we just did as we were instructed. He was in the wrong class (obviously) the observation area above has a broken couch, which couches break but get rid of it. Many of the instructors wear there shoes on the mats which does not seem sanitary but cleanliness does not appear to be a priority and we were billed incorrectly and given numerous excuses as to why all which made no sense. They have those "parents night out" events but based on everything I have observed which aligns with every other negative review of this place you will read. I would NEVER leave my child there unattended not even to run a quick errand. read more

My 3 year old just recently started gymnastics classes at East Bay Gymnastics. In the 5 short weeks we have been going it is safe to say she has found her people! The gym itself has a great atmosphere and it's obvious how much the staff and coaches care about their athletes. The PK classes are great and offer time on all of the apparatuses with fun obstacle courses designed around them. My daughter LOVES her instructors and begs us to go all week. We can not wait to get her more involved with this gym. read more

Called to book a trail class for my daughter apparently the calls are forwarded to someone out of the country to answer. I gave all my info to register my daughter for the class and showed up to only be told that she wasn't in the system and the times that we were given were wrong. The person at the desk was just rude about the situation and really unhelpful. How do you run your business like that?!? We will continue to spend our money else where. read more

We had been at EBG for over 3 years on their competitive team. The owner alienated all of his staff and every single coach quit except for one, which he just hired. We had an optional competitive team of levels 7-10 with probably 40 girls on it. Now that team is down to maybe 4. The Acro Gymnastics team was completely dissolved and the owner even had the nerve to call the police on the coaches when they were taking their own personal items home from the gym. The owner is not refunding fees that haven't been spent, even though the competitive season doesn't start until January 2025 and none of the meets or the corresponding travel has been booked yet. Of course he fully refunded another gymnast who left the gym just a week or two prior. Sadly, he has not communicated any of what has happened with people still at the gym even though it impacts them. I would not entrust your children to this gym. Do your research and go observe. We observed the new coach prior to leaving and in the middle of practice the girls were doing advanced (dangerous) skills while the coach was just sitting eating her Door Dash. She was not spotting our girls or coaching. Even worse is that after we left the girls reported that the coach stopped coaching completely. The only upside is that if you do go, you may get more personalized attention due to fact that 90% of the team left. However that will only be the case when the coach is not eating and only when you are watching. read more

Our family has been a member of East Bay Gymnastics for two years. Sometime in spring/summer 2023, new ownership purchased this business and within a matter of months, improved the some of the aesthetics of gym - new paint, improved front lobby, storage, Wifi, upgraded furniture in the parent waiting area and some new equipment for the gymnasts. The building doesn't have AC, however parents were hopeful that one day ownership could bring one on to help make training more comfortable for the kids during these hot Contra Costa summers. When my child's beloved coach left for college this past summer, the transition was seamlessly handled - exiting coach stayed behind for a time and even worked with the new coach on getting up to speed with where the kids were in terms of training. Overtime, I slowly noticed that many of the coaches were leaving and the quality of their recreational programs seemed to decline. Structured classes with children learning gymnastic techniques were replaced with less structured sessions more focused on play. This past week, I learned from another parent (not the ownership or management) that the head coach was no longer with the business. I would expect that the exit of such a key staff member would have been communicated to the whole gym community. A day or two later, I learned from another parent that there was a meeting being scheduled for the families of competitive level gymnasts. With my child on the competitive pre-team, I expected for families in our group to be included in this meeting as our kids would likely be impacted with any changes. Never received any direct communication from management or ownership regarding this. The next day, I arrive at the gym with my child and overhear that practice is ending early that evening, so I decide to stay instead of dropping off. Again, no direct communication from management or ownership regarding this. At the end of the evening, my child tells me that it was her coach's last day with them! I was shocked in learning this and hurt for my child who now had to deal with losing another coach whom she held in such high regard. I'm not sure what is happening with this gym and it genuinely saddens me. My child discovered her love for gymnastics here and looked forward to coming to train every week. I'm very concerned about the consistency in teaching they are able to provide now with such abrupt staff changes and lack of communicating critical details to parents. Though very upsetting for my child, we've decided to end our membership here and start shopping for a new gym. read more

My daughter came to EBG competitive team two years ago after a really bad coaching experience at another gym. Training at East Bay had been a 360 experience with the caring coaching staff. My daughter has formed lifelong friendships as have I with the parent community. Recently, we decided to leave the gym to follow our beloved coach and we have been punished for our decision since. The new owner Dennis Havrilla has refused to refund fees that have been paid in advance of the season. In addition to taking my money, he has removed my daughter from the competitions. So what is he doing with my money? He is also holding hostage my daughter's competition leotard which I paid for, claiming he doesn't know where it is. At this point, he is being childish and vindictive and is only punishing my daughter. He is more focused on pushing the coaches to make his daughter compete at a higher level and calling the police on employees during classes. We originally checked this place out because they have recreational gymnastics on Saturdays. For $10, my daughter could play on the gym equipment for up to two hours. The first couple of times we came were just before and after the winter break, and the gym wasn't crowded at all. There aren't any coaches during these sessions and the kids are free to play on any equipment, as long as there aren't any classes using it. It was a fantastic way to burn off some energy and have some fun on a Saturday morning. We've gone a few times and it's definitely gotten busier and more crowded, but never so much that there wasn't plenty to do. After going to the facility a few times, I signed my daughter up for a weekday class. She absolutely loves it! The teachers are fun and they really give her a workout. It's been well worth the money. The staff was very accommodating in allowing us to change a class because we had a conflict during Spring Break. The gym also seems newer and cleaner than some of the other gymnastics facilities we've been to. One more thing...we came here in January for a child's 7-year old birthday party and the instructor who ran the party (Bailey) was fabulous! So high energy and enthusiastic with the kids. THIS COMPANY TOOK MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION, AND CHARGED MY CARD WITH OUT MY CONSENT!!!! Then when I asked them to put it back they said they couldn't and when I asked them to drop my child from the class since I didn't want her going there anymore they said even though it was THEIR mistake, that they couldn't, so First they took $45 from me without my permission, and now they are forcing me to pay another $45. I don't know who is running this place, but someone sent an e-mail to me named Chrystal and the e-mail account said it was EBSA management. I don't know about you guys, but this does not sound like management material. I was always told keep the customer happy. I was even fine keeping the $45 charge on my card, I just wanted to drop my child's class and now I'm forced to stay. My 2.5 year old daughter has been coming here for about 6 months, and we really like it. Would recommend to anyone looking for toddler gymnastics. Pros: - Price is on par with other toddler gymnastics classes - Teaches actual age appropriate gymnastics and sets a foundation for real athletic/competition experience (as opposed to other "gym" classes that my husband sarcastically described as "active story time") - Has weekend classes, which is huge for working parents - Classes are taught by teachers, not a "mommy and me" style, which we like for the independent and following instructions experience Cons: - In recent months they have had a LOT of instructor turnover, which is hard for my shy toddler to get used to a new teacher every week - The "preschool" gymnastics class spans ages 2-5, which is a little extreme in terms of developmental ability, and sometimes the littler kids seem left behind read more

I love instructor Baily for my daughter's gymnastics class. I feel like she is learning something new in each class. Baily challenges my daughter to move out of her comfort zone just a little bit more each time. The atmosphere of the gym is kind and supportive. When we had a rough month where we were sick for a long stretch of time, they were wonderful about helping me schedule make ups. I would highly recommend EBSA! read more

My family was enrolled in the ninja zone program, which according to their site and video they use to advertise it is meant to be a mini-American ninja warrior style class. The first few weeks the class was amazing, heavy obstacle courses that left my son exhausted and got all of his energy out. Then they started scheduling gymnastic classes at the same time and the ninja zone was clearly their last priority. They were placed in a back room that left zero visibility for the parents, the supposed tv and camera set up left MUCH to be desired. My final straw was several classes that had zero activity and seemed to be solely designed to allow the instructor to chit chat with the gymnastic teachers. For the high price this does not live up to any expectations. I would not recommend, even with their recent adjustments. They need to simply cancel the ninja zone and be up front that gymnastics is their core business. read more

My daughter really enjoys her gymnastics classes. They have given her more confidence in trying new things, as she tends to be overly cautious. The staff is kind and helpful. There are occasional play nights on Saturday's from about 4pm-9pm which is great for the kids and can give the adults a quick date night. read more
