Everything else is taken care of. Decorations not necessary given the space. They even have tablecloths and serve the pizza for you. Staffing was excellent- great employee to kid ratios. I would say it's best for ages 4 and up, not younger toddlers. The only downsides are you do have to book at midnight the time it opens 2 months ahead if you want a guaranteed spot (even then may not get it!). Fairly pricey, and if over base amount of kids included gets even pricier. It was definitely worth it given everything they do.

She…read moreis autistic--funny, sweet, and energetic--but she can sometimes struggle with following directions. When she first attended at 6, we had a great experience, and even spoke with someone who said they specialized in supporting children with special needs. That gave us a lot of confidence in returning the following summer. When she was 7, we enrolled her for several weeks in the afternoons after her summer school program. We were assured that she was welcome and that there would be no issues. The first week went smoothly. During the second week, however, we were told she wasn't staying with the group the entire time and that it was a safety concern. Instead of working with us on strategies or accommodations, we were abruptly told it would be best if she not return for the rest of the summer. This left us without childcare for weeks during a time when both my spouse and I work full‑time. Despite that experience, we still hoped things could be different this year. Our daughter has grown a lot, and with ADHD medication, many of the behaviors they struggled with have improved significantly. We planned to sign her--and our son--up for just one week. But when I tried to register, I discovered there was a hold on our account. After calling and being told someone would get back to me, I was later informed that they were "too worried" about my daughter being a problem again. No one asked whether anything had changed since last year. Instead, I was told we could send her only if we provided an aide or a family member to supervise her the entire time. If we had a family member available to supervise, we wouldn't need a camp. And paying for an aide on top of an already expensive camp simply isn't feasible for most families. My advice to other parents: if your child is autistic, on the spectrum, or simply not a perfectly rule‑following child, think carefully before signing up. In our experience, Encore did not offer support, collaboration, or solutions--only exclusion. It's painful to see an 8‑year‑old who means no harm turned away instead of being met with understanding and partnership. Families deserve better, and so do our kids. I am giving this two stars because I imagine if you have neurotypical children the camp is fine.

Our dance family has grown so much, and the positivity in this community has been incredible for my kids. I was so grateful to them for training me well enough to pass my behind the wheel drivers test on the very first try - to prepare for it I also got to practice with the instructors around the DMV which helped me gain confidence for the real test. I cannot recommend this driving school enough - they were nothing short of sterling in the services delivered and they made learning a new skill fun and memorable for me! That was my thought about Lauren after meeting her for the first time (she taught our 6 week birth prep course). This woman was in her element. She cared, she was knowledgeable, and and she lit up the room. To our pleasant surprise and an epic answer to prayer, she ended up being our doula and what a gift she was in that space for us too. Lauren knew when to say or do something and the art of not saying or doing. We ended up having a dream birth and I'm not sure I would have been able to do it without her support. She was a part of the dream birth. She came along and partnered with me and my husband in a way that complemented and strengthened. Lauren helped me to trust myself and my body. There are no guarantees with birth. I don't love Lauren because I had a dream birth; I love her because of who she is and am so grateful she was with us and for us in the tender, sacred space of birth. I just graduated from the Medical Assisting program and I absolutely loved my time at Unitek…read more The enrollment process was super easy because they guide you through the enrollment steps. Richie and Ashley from Career services were a big help throughout the program, and were super fast at responding when I had questions. I felt that I learned a lot from my on campus teachers/mentors Ms. Crain, Ms. Oliver, and Ms. James, as well as from my online experience with Ms. Dori and Ms. Kaur. They took their time in explaining each subject in depth so that we could understand. They definitely have prepared me for the medical field. This program was absolutely worth it and I see myself going back to Unitek in the future to further my education.

Concord compass: I have no clue how this school has 3.8 stars because that's considered high for…read morethe nonsense you deal with. First of all I would like to say, if you got a scholarship through Futuro with Kaiser and you get in this program planning on ever working at Kaiser when you get out, just please delete that idea from your mind. That's the whole reason why I took this course through Futuro, come to find out at extern time, Kaiser isn't even contracted with Unitek or Futuro (make it make sense) to do your extern there so right there my whole plan of getting an extern at Kaiser and hopefully landing a job there after graduation was just shattered!!! instead, I was constantly offered an extern making it seem like DaVita was the only option. DaVita has a huge turn around hiring rate for extern with Unitech so it makes the school look really good as if their program graduates get hired quickly after completion. Which they do at DaVita if you want an $18-$20 an hour pay rate and absolutely not doing any medical assisting at all while you're there, so it just completely ruins everything that you learned in the medical assisting program. Not to mention, I was there for seven months and we had five different teachers.. again make it make sense? We will learn things from one teacher, and then all of a sudden they would leave, and the new teacher that came in would tell us we were doing things incorrectly and we would have to relearn some of the things over to the new teachers liking. Bottom line, it is just an extremely unbelievably unorganized program, there is no consistency with teaching, there's no accuracy as far as what we learned because the next teacher will teach us a different way, and the online teacher that I had was just absolutely terrible. She would explain nothing and dock your grade, you could send her several messages with no response and even when you would reach out to the higher up, they wouldn't even respond back to you, and they were in the same building in Concord! They also left there too by the way and I heard that they had been there for years and got let go. So yah, this program needs to be shut down and then opened up by all new upper hand that actually know what they're doing and how to run a beneficial MA program. I've graduated the program a while back and I still yet to land a decent paying medical assisting job, the highest I've been offered is $20 an hour and honestly if I wanted to, I can go work at target for $22 an hour. In the end, I feel like it was just such a waste of time and I would actually be livid if I didn't go through the scholarship program and get granted to take it, and actually paid the $15,000 out of pocket to take it. What a mess this place is... good luck to all who try it
