One of my favorite places, I'm a creature of habit and I love how they usually stick to the same foods! Taste wise the food is amazing, food is always warm and fresh and is rarely when servers aren't attentive. You can come at any time and they will receive you with a smile on their face. Bad.....just bad. Never received my plastic glove to prevent Covid19 cross contamination until I went and got it myself. 90% of the customers weren't using gloves. Staff weren't enforcing glove rules. Nothing on the buffet was great. Most meat dishes were tough or chewy. Nothing was hot or cold as required. Sushi was warm and hot dishes were cold or room temperature. Go figure. None of the cooks spoke English. All Latino. They couldn't answer any of my questions. And the AC SUCKS!!! I sweated the entire time. Not because the food was spicy......just because they were too cheap to turn down the AC. Had to be about 80 degrees in there at lunchtime. One of my favorite buffet restaurants on this side of town. I love that, not like many others, you can build a plate from the buffet To Go vs. Only allowing let's say sesame chicken or beef and broccoli and a rice side. So many items to choose from! Dinner is even better. read more

Found this place on Google, because our local buffet discontinued snow crab and my boyfriend had a craving. I enjoyed my food, there was a nice variety and they seemed to refill the line in a timely manner. I did notice my drink was never refilled -not even once. In addition to that our dishes piled up before being taken away, so customer service was the only flaw. read more

I'm Black and I've been coming to this place for years since 2016 and I've never been discriminated against until I came here in December of 2018. My brother who owns a trucking company wanted to take the whole family out so I recommended this place. When we arrived I noticed there was a new lady there with shoulder length dark curly hair and seemed older than the younger host we're used to and seemed agitated already . We didn't get any type of greeting or any communication other than "how old are the kids?". So I shrugged it off and we began dinning. This lady sat by us the whole time and kept insisting our waiter give us the check after only 20 mins of us arriving. Every time we asked her a question if the waiter wasn't around she ignored us and started giggling when my brother asked her a question about the Sushi bar and she speaks English.She continuously walked around us and gave us dirty looks *SERIOUSLY* I was appalled and told her along with the waiter I've been a loyal customer and never have been treated like this before being at this restaurant. On the plus side...they have a huge selection of the normal buffet fare plus sushi and hibachi. Unfortunately, everything tasted either old, over-cooked, stale, or freezer burned. I tried the stuffed shrimp and it made me gag. The enchiladas were not good either. The noodles were good though. The desserts however were not good at all. The eclairs had some watered down cream inside that was not pleasing. The sushi would've been good if all the teenage wait-staff weren't playing on there phones and giggling next to the sushi bar. *Under New Management* which means the menu changed... which means... No More Snow Crabs!!! My family of four has been coming to East Buffet almost religiously every Saturday and tonight we learned that they're no longer serving snow crabs, which is the reason who chose Saturdays. But not only has the menu changed, but so has the service. The food is replenished very slowly, the new staff is very unpleasant & the old staff that remains seems to be disgruntled... quite frankly it depresses me. Also, they've taken away the chocolate fountain that my kids enjoyed very much. And on top of all of that EB has the audacity to have a "grand opening" sign posted out front. Given the area it's located I didn't hold much hope, but hungry and bored I decided to give it a shot. It lived up to my expectations; gaudy and cheap in decor, it smelled like a seafood market. The buffet was lackluster at best, with expectedly mediocre, tasteless food. The clientele was a mix of guests of the Maury Povitch show, and recent parolees from prison or so it appeared. We used to love coming here and then a waiter with very bad service and the change in menu made us not come back. Not too long ago a friend of ours told us the place was getting better, that they had change managment. So here we go decided to give it another try. That was a mistake. We did not eat confterbly due to the temperature of the restaurant. The air was set at 84 degrees. I complaint about it twice and both times I was ignored. We had to hurry up, eat our food and leave because I was literally sweating so badly my pant were wet. Needless to say, I still think they have a customer service issue. It seems to me like they don't really care about their clients which is evident. When we walk in there on Saturday evening and the place is almost empty. Nice selection of seafood. I had the oysters, mussels, and cold shrimp. Mussels were a little dry. Oysters were good; I ate a dozen, maybe two dozen. Sushi rolls and nigiri were good, but on the small size. Seaweed salad was good. The soups- egg drop soup was too gelatinous for my taste. Wonton soup was good. The fried stuff- their cheese crab Rangoon things got it going on. Other notable items I liked were: coconut shrimp, crawfish, and baked fish. I tried almost everything and it all tasted good to me. They need more people manning the Mongolian grill. The desserts were just okay; I was hoping they had those rice crispy treats, but I didn't see any. Only good thing I can say about this place is that there a lot of selections. But the food quality is average and some worse than that. There's a sushi buffet but the fish are not very fresh. The clams that I had, some tasted funny and of course later on that night my stomach was hurting. The food was atrocious and the service was terrible the manager got very aggressive and violent when I told him that me and my girlfriend were not pleased and the food wasn't cooked all the way. I've eaten twice at this place and I love it! The Mongolian is great, the nigiri sushi isn't half bad. There's a variety of food and sauces to try out. I will say, I don't care that much for the cakes they have, but I love how they have fresh fruit and a chocolate fountain! The service is always great. Our server has always been really friendly. He's quick in clearing our plates and checks for refills. It's a little far from our hotel but always worth the trip. read more
