I wish that I would have read these reviews before I hired Carl. My experience with Carl was awful. Carl showed up right away and did mention the fee would be $125 which I agreed to since I was desperate to get my dishwasher fixed. He looked at the dishwasher and said it is a cheap model (whatever I thought). Anyway, he said well there is nothing I can do. So, I said can you at least look at it before you decide that. He opened the dishwasher and said, "No you need a new dishwasher". I paid him the $125 service fee which he asked to make it out to "cash". I Just wanted him out since I knew he was full of it. The service appointment lasted five minutes so that says a lot. I called someone in my complex who was able to get it fixed. I am still getting a new dishwasher but feel I was taken advantage of. I would like to get my $$ back but I agreed to the $125 service visit. Not sure if this is a real company. Not even sure if Carl is licensed for repairs. read more

This company is a scam!! Someone came to fix our refrigerator. We then asked about a repair to our wine cooler. He claimed it was better to order the parts from him, rather than Amazon which we had to pay up front. My husband gave him $600 and then never heard from him again. Their voicemail is full, their website phone number and address is different than their receipt. Total sham!!!!!! I just saw a review from over two years ago that says the exact same thing!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, IF YOU ARE ABLE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM, WHICH SEEMS HIGHLY UNLIKELY. I didn't want to give any stars, but I couldn't post my review without putting at least one. BEWARE! Do not use! For ten months -- after we gave him $600 to fix our dishwasher -- Carl did not show up or answer multiple voice mail messages. When he once picked up the phone (I'm sure it was by accident), he claimed he had the parts and made an appointment for last week. Again, didn't show up or answer multiple voice mail messages. I called East end appliance (new Name ) Next generation Repair ?? to repair my LG Dryer. I knew what the issue was from Google and just needed it repaired and confirmed. Tech came and after 30 seconds, !!!! said you don't have a part called an spider on yourbLG Dryer, (A part i know it had ) He wanted and was paid 125 dollars to tell me that I needed a new Drum , !! I purchased a kitchenaid stove and refrigerator as a combo deal during covid for a renovated in law apartment. Once complete push stove into place no issues works love it. Unwrapped fridge ice formed and pushed open back panel and fridge wouldn't get cold. Called owner said she was new owner would send tech provide parts. Tech came said try seeing if bottle water freezes if not buy new fridge. I spent $1200 of my hard earned money on an appliance that does not work. She is the wife of previous owner who rumor said is in jail. I'm outta money and she didn't return call when I got a price for parts after paying another technician to diagnose issue. I have since bought another fridge. I should be reimbursed or at least given money toward my new fridge . I was taken advantage of during Covid sold something that didn't work and they didn't go outta business so why should I be outta money. Please don't trust this business to look our for the consumer. NEGATIVE STARS IS APPROPRIATE. All of the other reviews are accurate. Never been scammed, but I guess there is always a first time, and this company did it. $480 bucks for a refrigerator repair that did not work, then never answering or responding to phone calls unless he thinks you are a new customer to scam. Try calling from different # he'll pick up, but once he realizes who it is you get the quick disconnect. He's gotten away with it in the past, crook needs to be stopped.... I bought a wash machine from here on July 16, 2022. I was satisfied until I noticed the bottom starting to rust and ruin my kitchen floor. I went to the shop and talked to Rose who informed me to take pictures and she would see what she can do for me since my 90 day warranty was up. I still haven't heard from Rose after sending her pictures of the bottom rusted wash machine her company sold to me. Do not buy from here, they sand old wash machines down and spray paint then to look new. This process wears down over time and eventually will ruin your floors. read more

I called East End Appliance for service to repair my Maytag dryer. The repairman came in a timely fashion and said he needed parts to repair my dryer and that another repairman would follow-up in 45 min to complete the repair. After waiting 2 hours, I tried calling and kept getting voicemail. Because he had texted me earlier in the day I tried texting and got no response. I tried calling from a different number and he answered right away. When I identified myself, he hung up. I was very nice and friendly so I have no idea why this company just neglected to complete the repair. Not reliable!!! read more

I'm surprised by the low reviews. Both times I have used east end appliance, they come exactly when they say they will and have repaired both my stove and dryer. My stove was fixed a few years ago and I've never had another issues. Always prompt and professional. they do a great job. Saved me from having to buy a mew dryer and stove! read more

I called them to fix my Kenmore front load washer. My call was returned and a technician came the next day. He diagnosed the the problem as a failed Central Control Unit CCU. Part and repair would cost $516. Since a new machine was $900 or so, I said OK. He returned several days later and installed the part, which did not fix the problem. He said another failure code came up indicating the temperature sensor was bad. He told me that I could get the part online sooner than he could and gave me a link. I ordered and received the $30 part in a couple of days. I tried to reach the technician by phone five times over the next week. I never received a return call. Using a You Tube video, I installed the new sensor myself. The machine gave a new failure code. I should have checked the Yelp rating of this firm before i let him in my house. If Yelp allowed it this firm should be given zero stars. read more

Agree with below comment that this company is a scam. Worst customer service ever. They called me to let me know that a repairman would be at my house later that morning during a specified 2 hour window. I rearranged my schedule to be home during the window. And I cancelled an appointment with another repairman scheduled to come later that day. East End repairman never showed up. I called the office multiple times. First time, they wouldn't answer my call. I called from another phone, they said they'd call back. They never called back. They never answered my calls again. The repairman never showed up. Left me in desperate situation over holiday weekend with house full of guests. Incredibly rude, unreliable and unprofessional. If I could give ZERO stars I would . This company is a SCAM. Carl Puntarich charged me $461 towards a new compressor for my refrigerator. Then he called the service into another company. A repairman came promptly when I called about getting my Frigidaire dryer repaired at my LI beach house, and told me that the thermal fuse blew and another repairman would come in an hour or so with the part. After a couple of hours with no one showing up, I called the repairman, but it went immediately to voicemail. I left two messages but no one called me back. When my husband later called from his phone, someone answered right away but when he identified himself, they hung up on him. This is similar to the experience that another reviewer had, and it's very strange to have someone show up right away, defer to another person, and then refuse to show up or answer followup calls. Seems like a scam - casing the house or just rejecting a repair that was too inexpensive. read more

I called for a repair of my Maytag Gas clothes dryer which developed a heating problem. They could not schedule a service call until 2pm the next day. At 2:15pm the next day I called to inquire as to when the serviceman might arrive, I got their answering machine which instructed me to leave a message and someone would get back to me in a few minutes. The few minutes came and went and over the course of the next 3 hours I left 3 more voicemails. I never received a callback from them and a serviceman never arrived. I wasted an entire day waiting. Do not waste your time with these people. If they can't perform a proper business procedure like returning a call imagine what they might do if they actually show up at your home and attempt to repair your appliance.
