I had a great time. The guides and staff were so nice. The bike and helmet provided were in great shape and a perfect fit.

Steve helped me change my bike tire out of the goodness of his heart. Will definitely come back and join a bike tour on our next visit!

Can't say enough good things about Brew Crew Cycles!…read more Originally got 2 tickets for my boyfriend and I for him for Christmas. After telling family about it, they were all super interested. I contacted brew crew to see if we could get a full bike (14 people) for that same day and time. They were very accommodating, applied the purchase of the two tickets toward the full bike, and a coupon I got emailed to me after the purchase of the two original tickets. A few days before our tour, I emailed brew crew because people in my party were nervous about the weather (rain, all day!) Ed emailed me back and was so positive, he definitely made me feel much better! The day arrived, and it was raining. Allll day. Pouring at some points! However, we had SO much fun. We decided if it was hot out, we would have been dying! Now, the bike itself doesn't go that fast. When everyone is pedaling hard and fast, there is an increase in speed, but not that much. And let me tell you, it is definitely a work out. So you get about 30 minutes or so at each place. We went to Mustache Brewing, Birchwood bar and restaurant, and Long Ireland Brewing. Getting to Mustache was the hardest part of the tour, it was like all uphill. Mustache beers are awesome. I wish they opened the garage door because it wound up getting packed! Then went to Birchwood, which was super close to Mustache. All their beers on draft were $4! People in our group got some nachos. Then was Long Ireland. Their beers are good too, and they have a dart board, which we pretty much played with our entire time there. Our driver, Cat, was absolutely awesome! She was very sweet, kept us informed with how much time we had left, and let us play our own music! She kept up the positive vibes even when we were all soaking wet from the rain. If you book a tour here, and the day comes and it's raining, please do not cancel! We had such a blast regardless of the weather! The rain actually made it for a more funny experience. I would definitely suggest getting enough people so you have your own bike full of family and friends. Being with all people you know makes the tour that much better. Thank you, Brew Crew Cycles for an awesome experience! Already talking about doing another tour in the fall!

This company seems to have great reviews and I'm sure it's a cool experience - god forbid you need…read moreany assistance from the staff. If you think you might need any ounce of decent customer service, stray far far away from Brew Cycle. We booked weeks in advance for a party of 14. We wanted to celebrate Labor Day Weekend with some brews and bikes, and the website advertised to spend Labor Day with them. I guess they forgot to mention that they do not actually want anyone to book on Labor Day. My mistake! (*insert sarcasm here*) So the plan was to go to three breweries. Two days before our planned ride, they called saying that the breweries were closed. They offered to reschedule for a different day. After extensive argumentation, they finally said we could go to two restaurants instead, at the same price as three breweries - when their website also offers going to two breweries at a lower price. Makes sense? Maybe if you can't do simple math. It gets better. The NIGHT before our trip, they called again. Say it isn't so... they cancelled on us. They said they just found out the restaurants were closed as well. Meanwhile, the girl we talked to literally said that this was due to a "miscommunication" since "Brew Cycle isn't supposed to be open for Labor Day, but was trying to accommodate for our group out of kindness." YOUR WEBSITE ADVERTISED LABOR DAY! No need to lie. We are all adults here. Here's the kicker: the day we were supposed to go, out of curiosity we called the two restaurants that were supposedly closed. You guessed it folks - they were indeed open. Ouch.

Unfortunately this is going to be long because I'm so disappointed…read more I was not expecting to be met with the level of hostility by the manager Julie. It's a shame because the grounds are beautiful, the staff that sat and served were very friendly. I was really looking forward to this visit. In email I was sent the menu, reservation policy, and a form to fill out with the option to pre order the mixed flight ($30 per person) or antipasto ahead of time. I had confirmed in written email that I had a group of 8 and I filled out the form for "number of guests at $30 per person" as 1. Everyone else in my group planned to order from the regular menu and do a couple of bottles for the table. When I arrived it was very disorganized and understaffed, with a big wait time to be seated and served. We were sitting for maybe a half hour before someone addressed us. When they did, they came out with 8 sets of the mixed flights! I said that I filled it out for 1 and that everyone else was ordering from the menu. So she went back to check with the manager, Julie. Before Julie even spoke I could feel a combative energy when approaching me. She said she "assumed" the 1 that I put for the mixed flight was "a typo" and couldn't respond to me as to why she didn't communicate the confusion. She said the group number applies to the number of flights. She said she can't just have everyone else "sitting around" and I assured her that everyone was getting something from the regular menu. She said that she never had a problem before and asked me if I even read the information that was sent to me. So basically if you do a group reservation, everyone is forced to do the mixed flight. Even if someone else wants the red flight which is not an option to pre order. She said we would need to order the mixed flights first to be able to order a bottle from the regular menu. No where did it say any of this ANYWHERE on this information sheet. I did in fact read it multiple times and had my group read it before making reservations. After going back and forth with me, she then says "you know what, do whatever you want to do so you can have a good day" very passive aggressively as if I offended her and walks away. Her tone was extremely condescending. My whole group was in shock and very uncomfortable. At this point we had been here for an hour and we were deciding what to do from here. The waitress came back and asked what we wanted to do and I said I wasn't sure because I am uncomfortable with how I was spoken to. She was very sweet and was understanding. She told us whatever we wanted to do if we wanted to stay, we can let her know what we want, which put us more at ease. I asked her for a couple of minutes and she said no problem just to grab her since she's all around. We couldn't find her after that and decided to leave. As a customer, I am appalled by the behavior of the manager. This was not professional or appropriate conduct. I feel for the staff who seem to be doing their best with the given situation.
