My mind was immediately put to rest as Carol gave us a tour of the very clean boarding area and the outdoor play area. While we were on vacation, she sent us video of our dogs playing happily in the play area, looking carefree and joyful. When we got back, our pups looked great as they give a complimentary bath with boarding, and they were happy as clams. Another wonderful bonus is that Chateau de Paws is in the same building as East End Veterinary hospital, which is staffed 24/7. All in all a great experience and we will definitely board our doggies at Chateau de Paws in the future!!

One Testicle would not drop. Nuetered ( planned on it anyways) with extra work for nondescending testicle. Archie fine and we took him everywhere the first year. After first year, he became aggressive & anxious whenever I tried to leave. He would get excited & nip me if I attempted to leave. Had to literally fight him to leave. Fine when I came home. He would get excited whenever I tried to separate from his presence. Tried crating him but he became wild whenever we tried to crate him. He was like a wild animal. Stopped trying to crate. Tried gates but whatever the barrier, the point of separation triggered this aggressive behavior. Tried trainer who diagnosed resource guarding & I the resources. Whenever repairmen came to home, had to strategically plan how to separate from him. He bit me 4 times . Girlfriend loved him and showed him kindness. She was petting him one time and somehow triggered him to be aggressive towards girlfriend . Bit her in arm. Loved him notwithstanding all this. To protect him. No more visitors to my home & I didn't take him to anything social where episode may occur. Changed my life to protect him. Lovable when no triggers. Eventually became controllable when I wound leave him. He would chew a broom head to assuage his anxiety. Continued controlled environment & livable as long as I avoided triggering events. At 8 diagnosed with a cancer on 4/10/24. Just this past Tuesday, 8/20:24, let him go as he was suffereing. Miss him but relieved he never hurt my daughter or me seriously. Honestly, when he became aggressive , it was frightening. My daughter learned Diego actually acquired Archie from a Florida breeder. People on reviews say not Diego's sister. I don't know. Been told Archie was aggressive due to bad breeding. I do not know. Bad breeding lead to cancer at 8 years old? Don't know! Just encourage Diego to be up front with people about origin of dogs he sells. Encourage customers to ask questions. Be informed. Glad we had 8 years with Archie, but challenging times t

They were helpful and efficient over the phone and made a special order from their supplier for what I would need so that it would be ready when I arrived, not requiring me to pay in advance. Throughout the summer I have visited several more times to stock up on hay for my piggies as well as some fun new toys and treats for them. Not all pet stores cater to small pets and I have been pleased with their reliable stock of what I need most (lots of quality hay, at the same price as the big chain stores) along with some fun extras. My young kids have been with me on most visits and have been treated kindly in the store, and the staff has always been helpful, organized and efficient. I will definitely continue to return to stock up for our piggies whenever we are on the east end!
