Pretty good dim sum, bookmarked this place for a while since my friend recommended it. A little bit far to get to in brooklyn's chinatown. Expect to wait before you get seats. I didn't see that many carts that went around, might be because we got there a little closer to 12:30pm, busy even on a weekday during lunch. You might want to ask them for the menu to bring the food out if the carts don't come by. I think the food is flavorful, but the service was a little bit questionable since we were waiting for the carts to come by for a while and it didn't feel like there was a lot of variety. There were definitely more items on the menu that they didn't bring out. Overall, I think it's good place to try once, I'm not sure if I would be back again.

Good old school dim sum. The old adage that if there is a wait for a table at a restaurant, then the food must be exemplary. The 15-20 min wait on Saturday morning is par for the course especially after 10am on a beautiful weekend. I enjoyed the rice bowl which included spare ribs, sausage and Fung Jao. The rice soaked up all the flavors from the trio of meats which made it incredibly satisfying. It's kind of different, not unique, but not all dim sum parlors have this dish for dim sum. This one was piping hot which I also took as a sign of it being freshly made. Unfortunately the remaining dishes I had were not, my rice rolls and shrimp dumpling (Har Gow) were not warm, but chilled. If you know, you know, these two particular dim sum dishes are best either piping hot or warm. Having it chilled completely changes the texture. It seemed like there was more shuffling than necessary of food from cart to cart, from carts that didn't necessarily keep food warm, to that that did. That may have contributed to the chilled temperature. Service was ok but felt rushed, servers tried to take a dish from me that I was still eating from which kinda felt unnecessary. East Harbor is definitely an old favorite, I'd give it a try again in the future to see if my experience was an aberration.

Food: I came here for a family dinner with a group of 16 people. We ordered many dishes, and overall, the food is pretty good here. I would recommend the jellyfish, crab meat and fish maw soup, peking duck with steamed buns, ginger scallion lobster, honey walnut shrimp, salt and pepper squid, lotus root and pork cakes, peking pork chop, longevity noodles with mushrooms, fried rice, and snow pea sprouts with garlic. There are a few dishes I would not recommend which include the steamed fish (overcooked and overpriced) and the clams with taro and vegetables. Both dishes were not impressive and very underwhelming. Service: Service was excellent. Staff was attentive and constantly came to change our plates, clear empty dishes, and refill our water pitcher. Ambiance: The restaurant is big and spacious. Seating is comfortable. They also have two large private rooms for large parties. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant!

This place is classic. The service is fast and to the point. The serving is family style. You order everything to share and it's placed on a lazy Susan in the middle of the table. The marinated whole or half chicken is a must! Best chicken I have ever had- crispy skin, soft moist meat, and amazing flavor. The taro balls that come with the shrimp and walnut dish are fire. They also have some of the best fried rice. Great place for large groups. Good pricing.

East Harbor Seafood Palace has an authentic air established by the decor and Asian grandmas pushing around dim sum carts asking what we want and sometimes trying to sell us things we don't haha. The service was fast and efficient, and the dim sum was delicious, evoking all the vivid memories of childhood years spent in China. It was everything I ever want at dim sum. Overall 8/10

Good, run of the mill dimsum spot. A bit of travel coming from West long island and flushing, especially since those areas already have many established dimsum restaurants. The wait was long on a Sunday morning at noon. We got on the que at number 163 when they were only up to 80. The service honestly felt terrible at first but they probably were just busy. It ended up being exceptional, with the manager helping us find and grab the food we wanted from different carts. Space was a bit tight, fitting 6 people in a small table that was pushed against a wall. The dimsum was good, nothing extraordinary, but definitely a good place to try if you're around the area. Tofu pudding was really silky and smooth. The braised tripe was very gamey that day but the steamed trip was good. I prefer steamed rice rolls to be very thin, this restaurant made it a bit thicker but not the thickest I've eaten. Everything else was just fine.

Came here for Sunday dim sum with some really good friends. Got our number from the hostess and waited about 40min to 1 hour for them to call our number (he calls the number in either Cantonese, Mandarin, English so pay attention!) I recommend English speakers to check with hostess every 10 min or so to ask what number they're on now. We got all the classics: clams, beef noodle roll, shrimp noodle roll, fried taro with pork, black pepper beef galbi, shrimp dumpling (hacao), shumai, beef tripe (dark), ginger beef tripe, eggplant with shrimp/fish paste, silken tofu with ginger syrup, salted egg custard buns, egg tarts. Usually when you go to a dim sum place, they mess up at least a couple dishes. Here they literally got every dish perfect. Each dish was better than our go-to dimsum spots in Flushing. Very impressed with their quality and variety of dishes. The silken tofu was very smooth, better than the flower shop in Flushing (iykyk). This is probably my new favorite dim sum spot which sucks because it's kind of far. Highly recommend this place for your family and friends, authentic dim sum is so much better with a group!

We arrived as a party of 6 on a Sunday morning. The wait time was around an hour which wasn't ideal however not unexpected. Once we were seated we ordered a little bit of everything - shu mai, clams, deep fried taro dumpling with pork and shrimp, sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf, beef roll, shrimp roll, chicken feet, steamed radish cake, hacao, two types of tripe dishes, custard buns, egg tarts, peppered beef spare ribs, sweet tofu pudding, and shrimp with eggplants. Everything we delicious. I have been to a few places for dim sum and this place is now on the top of my list. The service was quick and efficient. The restaurant was clean. Looking forward to the next time we are here.

A 12 degrees evening before the anticipated arrival of the first big ice and snow storm of 2026 and wanted to have "last meal" of sorts before the great hibernation. We had 5 lobsters-split broiled, braised abalone-sea cucumber-shitake, a giant steamed branzino (live from the on-site fish tank), dried scallop fried rice, braised crab yee-noodles, cold platter with suckling pig, beef, pickled vegetables and jellyfish, a sautéed seafood dish with sugar snap peas-squid-conch, chicken-abalone soup, fried chicken, fried crab claw with shrimp, deserts were a fruit platter and also sweet red bean soup. Service was quick, but very, very rushed. Dishes came out every 5 minutes and were served and distributed. The next dish arrived before the current one could be finished and they brought us plastic boxes to pack what we couldn't finish. Food quality was fresh, but not particularly flavorful, slightly overcooked as seafood needs to be pretty exact. Difficult to stay fully booked in the current economy, but the entire restaurant of about 400 seats, was filled, as well as the private rooms, on this evening.

Visited a handful of times before. Today (Wednesday) I went around 11am and it was pretty packed. Wait time was around 10-15 minutes. When you enter, be sure to tell the staff member in front how many is in your party for the table and he will give you a card with a number on it. As tables start to clear, he will yell out the numbers, based on availability. You want to be attentive here as if you don't acknowledge your number being called, it will be skipped and he will quickly move on to the next numbers for people to be seated. During my 10 minute wait, I saw people who were there before me, that didn't get a card with a number on it, and they just stood around. After they saw what everyone else was doing, they finally got a number so they could be called for a table. Also fyi, if you come when they open at 9am, there will already be a decent sized crowd waiting outside. Lines do not exist here though. When the doors open, imagine a Black Friday sale, but for seats. Families and individuals will run for the table they want to occupy during their meal. It's a bit of rush! After that initial opening, about 60% of the restaurant will be filled. Then around 30 minutes later, the entire place will be packed and the above mentioned waiting for your number to be called will start. The dimsum here was decent! My review says 4 stars but I really mean 4.5 stars. Too bad half stars don't yet exist on Yelp. They really should make that an option. Anyway, the dimsum here is very authentic, flavorful, and great portions! I brought my dad here and he says it's also pretty decent - fyi, he cooks for a living. We also loved it so much that at the end of our meal, we ordered take out of dimsum to take back to the rest of my family. The restaurant is filled with locals, a few tourists, but mostly Cantonese families with small children, elderly people, and young get-togethers. You can sort of hear people talking in other tables, but that's to be expected in any dimsum place with locals. It's moderate volume but still on the quieter side for how busy it gets and in comparison to other dimsum restaurants. Staff here are friendly and attentive. Also super efficient. They bring everything you ask for within a minute- in my experience today. I asked for chili oil and water. Also plenty of refills for tea (for the tea, proper etiquette to ask for more refills is to lift the lid slightly and let it rest on top, so it stays open and they know to come get it). Also... absolutely love the hot sauce/chili oil here!!! So good we asked for 3 and I used 2.5 of them. My dad who doesn't even like spicy much, used half of one. I put chili oil on most dim sum dishes to really elevate the already-decent flavors! Would still come back again!

Food (5/5): We ordered a bunch of dim sum from shumai, shrimp hargow, turnip cake, meatballs, golden lava bun, and many others. All the dim sum was delicious! The hot sauce chili also paired really well. Service (4/5): They bring the food around with carts and you get to select and then they'll stamp your card to keep track. At the end you pay based on your stamps. Ambiance (5/5): Authentic ambiance with tons of tables and good Chinese decorations. There are two large TVs. The place is super busy and quite loud with announcements of who's up next to be seated.

This place is packed on a weekday for dim sum! I'm told, don't try coming on the weekend unless you're prepared to stand in line. Nice variety of dim sum with some unique dishes not found typically, such as fried black sesame balls. The food indeed was delicious and worth a weekday visit!

All the food was exceptional with lots of variety. I found this is be a heartwarming place for local families to enjoy the cuisine from home. It's chaotic and cramped in the best way possible. The service is efficient and lightening fast. They will ensure you don't leave hungry. that's for sure!

No snickering. This is largely because of the sweet customer service. A three star review for more…read morelike two star quality. It is not saying much for a city that really lacks in Mexican cuisine. To say I did not give this restaurant a fair shake is like saying I only went to an ice cream shop and only ordered the cone. I went all out there, which is maybe why I received the service I received, or maybe it is because I sat next to what appeared to be my server's children. Whatever the case, I was treated well here. Onto the food. The Sopa Azteca (their tortilla soup) is a nice change from what I had at a previous Mexican restaurant. I would like the portion to be bigger and more meat in it, but I like the Mexican spices and the variety here. It is quite enjoyable. The Queso Fundido should be called a Queso No Divertido. It was awful to eat, with lousy flavor and texture. This is the second time I have struck out with this appetizer. It is safe to say I am done ordering it in this city. Nobody does it right. The Paella is nice, but at its core has the essence of a nice dish. Some parts are full of tremendous flavor, and some parts are dry and bland. I ate this all out of necessity, and also because once I mixed the bland with the good it actually turned into something quite pleasant. The chicken enchiladas I ordered because it would not be fair to come here and pass up something Tex-Mex as an entree. The chicken is inconsistent, well cooked in some spots, dry in others. The salsa verde has a lot of kick here, but the side salad and charro beans nearly ruin the whole thing. At least the Mexican rice is fluffy and has great flavor. Speaking Spanish to the staff helped curry points in the service department. I like family owned businesses. Everybody was busy and on point. So what if the food does not wow, I have given more, for less. Hence why this is a three star review and not a two star review.

Every visit feels like catching up with an old friend who knows exactly how you like your salsa. That consistency is as comforting as it is rare in the city that never sleeps. Before we even flipped open the menu, they slid over complimentary chips and pico de gallo that set the bar impossibly high. The pico was bursting with bright, tangy tomatoes and cilantro, and those homemade chips were the perfect balance of crisp and salty. It was the kind of welcome that makes you cancel your other dinner plans on the spot. I went for the Taco de Birria made with brisket, and I swear the richest consomé I've ever tasted lived up to its name. Each taco got dunked into that deep, savory broth, then inhaled faster than a greased pig at a county fair. By taco number three, I was pretty sure I'd found my soulmate in molten cheese and slow-cooked meat form. 'The Man' ordered the Chicken Mole, which came with a generous scoop of rice and beans on the side. He sat back, took that first bite, and basically entered a state of pure food-induced bliss. Watching him lose track of time as he devoured every last drop of mole was its own kind of entertainment. We washed it all down with a Piña Margarita, along with another cocktail that leaned so hard into the tequila you could almost feel the agave fields. Add a Modelo on the side and you've got a drinks menu that doesn't play around. These aren't dainty sips--they're the kind that could very reasonably put hair on your chest. Service here is so personalized it's almost telepathic. We never waited more than a second for a refill or a check, and the staff felt like an invisible waitress on standby, ready to swoop in the moment we so much as blinked. We left a hefty tip without hesitation because they earned every penny. Las Margaritas on 3rd and 92nd isn't just our go-to--it's a staple. Whether we're craving tacos at home in our pajamas or settling in for a full sit-down dinner, we know they'll deliver every single time. Consider us regulars for life.

All great! The drinks did not disappoint either. Some great craft cocktail choices. We actually saved room for dessert this time and tried their banana crème brûlée and Brazilian carrot cake - YUM!

The waitress her name was Jennifer, she was very nice and accommodating. I didn't experience any attitude or rudeness from any of the staff which was good. My only complaint is that she didn't write down our order which in turn got our food all wrong. I ordered the burger well done, my chick ordered hers medium. Well I ended up with the medium and she got the well done. We wanted cheddar cheese, well we both got swiss. We wanted truffle fries and we both ended up with regular fries. So yeah this pretty much goes down to not writing exactly what we wanted and us getting whatever food they felt like giving us. I would recommend next time to please write down customers orders so that the paying customer gets exactly what he's paying for. I will say again the food was very good but they screwed up the orders. Will I go back, I don't know but I hope in future they write orders down so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Happy hour every day until 7 pm - with multiple drink and food items priced at $8. the decor is dark and sexy, full of velvets and nice artwork. id come back for the secret lounge in the back. the bathroom is clean and nicely decorated too. When we got here, I guess everyone else had the same idea because it filled up. the service slowed down after we placed our order, but there was only 1 server working the bar. the $8 happy hour espresso martini hit the SPOT and was refreshing too. they have a few craft beer choices on menu too. The Gambas is a must get. i think i counted 6 plump perfectly seasoned grilled shimp on a bed of sauce and toasted crustini. Grab the mac n cheese bites! my date loved them (they can come with sausage or without). i sampled the mac sauce on top and thought it was pretty good. the 5 wings on happy hour were messy, but delicious. i tasted the honey but not the chipotle. it might need a hint of more heat if they wanna call it chpotle. would come back in a heartbeat.

But when I was seated, the waitress forgot to mention we MUST scan the QR menu from the table - after I ordered i immediately informed the waitress then she told me they will need to look for it or I may need to cancel my order, but the app I ordered from dont have that option. I have to ask the waitress twice and still didnt tell me if they find it or not. I have to look for another person to find out if they find my order. Also, the app charge a "cheqout fee". I asked the staff how to avoid this fee she suggest to link my bank account! (no way!!!). I can pay cash, we just have to order differently and let the staff know, but the staff there doesnt give any instructions until it was asked. As for the food taste - disappointed!! order the fried chicken - tender but soggy not crunchy or crispy. service - once u are seated it is hard to find them. they will not come by and see if we need anything else. i really didnt want to tip them. but i still did.
