I wanted to see why the higher reviews than the place I newly go to. It may be a small place, but they are great with customer service. Did a great job as well. When the pillows weren't done and I had to come back the next day, Daniel trusted me enough to take the comforters home without paying, and trusted that I will come Back to get my pillows then pay when I retrieve them. My dryer broke at home today so I went to this laundry mat I used faithfully back in the day. I came in the lady said I can't dry my clothes I have to wash and dry them, or try the drop off service. I ended up putting them in the dryer and she came back stating well since you're already here we will let you. Now I'm waiting for them to dry and they are watching me staring at me, making me uncomfortable as I am trying to dry and fold my clothes to go home. They gave me a hard time just being able to use a basket to get my clothes out. Mind you, I am the only person in here. Business is clearly slow. To say the least I will not be returning. read more

This laundromat is actually really great. Lots of big machines ($5.75-$7) for the big loads and their smaller machines ($3.50) for the smaller load. There is always an employee or two working daily to assist customers and keep the place clean. I have never seen this place dirty inside. The only downside about this place is that it can get a bit crowded sometimes especially around 7pm where many late washers like me come in. read more

It's Thanksgiving morning and these past couple of weeks have been unpredictably busy. Hence, my kids and my laundry piled immensely. Friendly, informative, affordable. Had queen sized feather bed / mattress pad cleaned here for drop off service. Dropped off in the morning and they said it would need at least 3 hours in the dryer at low heat, and I got the text message to pick up in the afternoon as expected. They suggested to air it out dither at home as with feathers they like to breathe after being laundered. If you need them to use fragrance free detergent, just ask and they can use it. Best part is the price: many places won't wash a thick feather mattress pad, but they do it for just under $20. Will definitely use them again as needed. read more

Great laundromat in kent. Unlike a lot in our area this place actually has people working during operating hours. So if you put in money and the washer/dryer doesn't work you can get your money back. The workers are also super sweet and helpful. And they dont overcharge for detergent if you forget you're at home, bonus! read more

I've come to this place for years. Since I started living in Kent for the last 20 years. Its decent and didn't have anything bad to say about it until today. My girls and I were waiting for all three large washers and had our stuff ready for when the previous wash was taken out. Then a woman comes in with another girl and starts talking to the woman that had her stuff in the machine which I was waiting for, tells the woman that just walked in - in Spanish that she could use the machine as soon as her stuff was done, knowing we were waiting and as if we didn't understand what they said. I tell the the lady that supervises the place - who is also Hispanic and she tries to cover it up for them. I should have known, it is located in a ghetto area, so the owner or supervisor has to be shady too! Sad, I won't be back and I will tell other people so they won't come. read more

They have a stated closing time of 9:00p, but it turns out they also have a "last wash" time of 7:30p. They stick to this rigidly, even if you tell them you only need to wash, and not to dry. (Our dryer at home works fine, it's the washer that's temporarily busted.) This can be somewhat dismaying when you show up at 7:35p, thinking you have about an hour-and-a-half, and they turn you away. Excellent Laundry Service! I dropped off a 17lb load of laundry and collected it 3 hrs later. It was professionally washed, dried,folded and wrapped beautifully. It only cost $15 inc tax, so for me I thought that was a fantastic deal, as it meant I could go out and do other things rather than sit around and doing it myself. When I moved to Maple Valley, I tried two different laundromats before finding East Hill. One was filthy, the other was in Benson and had a horrible manager who yelled at all her customers. Then I found East Hill. The owner, Daniel, is professional and keeps the place spotless. Great machines, great prices. On top of that, I can honestly say that Daniel is one of the nicest individuals I've met in a very long time. He helps all of his customers in with their laundry, if you need help, and back out as well. It's in a good location, all the customers are friendly and respectful, unlike at Benson Laundromat LLC. While I'm looking forward to having my own machines when my house is built, I will still come here for bigger loads like bedspreads, etc. Thank you to Daniel and his wife for making laundry days something that is actually enjoyable, rather than a chore.
