His truck was blocking the exit and he had his friends hanging out all around it and blocking the path around it. When we tried to pass on the other side of his truck, he promptly yelled at us that that was the wrong way! He was concerned the bats would scratch his truck. Maybe he shouldn't park blocking the exit of a batting cage if he is worried about bats scratching his truck? Just super unprofessional of the owner in my opinion. I totally get if there are rules. It his place at the end of the day but he could have been polite about the situation but instead chose to be rude and yell at my kids. Enough for me not to come back and recommend others to go elsewhere.

It took me some time but I was able to find a league through Long Beach Parks and Recreations and have had the opportunity to get their Coed basketball league going. The coed league is run well on Monday nights and in addition, they have men leagues with different levels occurring other days of the week. The price is affordable about $45-60 per person for all games and ref fees, jersey excluded, for 8 coed games or 10 men games with a roster of 10.. with the season almost ending I will be back for another one. I hope this review helps other hoopers find a home in LB. Some important information too is they keep track of points and free throws and for the coed league, you need at least two females on the court at all times.

They offer league play for boys and girls ages 4-14. It is a well organized, well run youth sports program. The fields are kept in pristine condition, the facilities are better than any you will find locally. Best place for your kids to learn and love the game of baseball. Full snack bar is available during the season offering everything from hot dogs to Chinese chicken salad (its' what their known for). This league was recently chosen to host the Pony Bronco Division World Series because of the quality of the facilities and operation. They are home to this prestigious event that hosts teams from all over the World. Can't go wrong...best place around to play youth baseball.

Sports for learning provided a summer camp at my kids elementary school this summer. I was…read moreextremely disappointed by their coaches/counselors that were in charge of the children. First of all, I discovered that the counselors used profanity in front of the children, on a daily basis. Not only that, but when some of the kids started using inappropriate language, the coaches laughed and did not provide any guidance to stop this behavior. I only found out about this after several weeks,, when some of the children mentioned it to me and some of the other parents. When I brought it to the attention of the school district and the regional manager, they finally brought out supervisors to address it. Unfortunately the kids were already exposed to so much inappropriate language by then. The "sports" aspect of the program was not very educational or coordinated. The kids didn't really learn any rules of the games or improve any skills. It was basically just having them run around during these activities. In addition, at least one of the coaches contracted COVID during the camp and many kids were exposed to it. I honestly do not know how many contracted it, but it was very irresponsible for the counselors to put themselves at risk for, and catching Covid, especially when caring for elementary school children. I know many families who did not remain in the camp, due to the poor experience that our kids had with their coaches. I'm sure they have some good employees working for them who might have good backgrounds in caring for kids. But be sure to evaluate the counselors that are being used at each individual location. We were quite unhappy with the ones used for us.

Aside from not caring about covid protocols that we were told were put in place, they let the kids eat inside and smushing them together under the awning to eat other times, they didn't care at all when I brought it to their attention. The counselors didn't act appropriately around these young kids and used inappropriate language. Keep in mind this is an elementary school. These kids are very young. They were more like drill sergeants than camp counselors. It was an awful experience.

The situation was handled in an extremely unprofessional and childish manner, and she took things far too personally instead of acting like a "coach." Communication and overall behavior were very disappointing, especially with kids around. Definitely not the kind of environment we expected from a club program. Parents should be aware before committing their kids here. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before joining this club.

Roman is a very responsible organizer, members of this group are very nice and highly skilled. Most of the 2s are high level players and 4s are advance intermediate. If you are a beginner, talk to Roman for best classes. Sometimes Roman invites Beach volleyball teachers for free classes for group members. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot next to where group plays. There are also restrooms in the swimming pool next to where group plays. Usually there are 3 courts for twos and 3 courts for fours, 36 people can play at the same time. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to play beach volleyball.
