I've been going here for about a year now for my morning coffee and occasional bagels/muffins…read more However, since my husband "discovered" them through searching for a good bagel shop it has become our Sunday morning spot for his bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches. Sometimes we try something different but always go back to the original. Even when it's extremely busy the staff is always friendly and try to be as fast as possible. Enough seats for a quick bite with some of the best coffee shop coffee I've had in a long time.

And while holding my bagel she used her other hand with the glove on and tucked her hair behind her ear. After she put my bagel into the toaster she came back over to the counter and rang me up with still the same gloves on! Then she walked to go back to get my bagel from the toaster. I had it and said could you please change your gloves you just handled cash! I'm not one to make a confrontation that is why I didn't not say anything the first time around as she handle it. Then she changed her gloves and continued to pull up her pants and play with her shirt. Unfortunately, I took my food and just threw it out afterwards. But I think this needed to be addressed in a review so everyone can understand the importance of food safety. As a new customer this was not a good impression to make. The business owner/managers need to pay better attention to this. I work in the food industry and as a manager I would call it out as soon as I seen an employee doing that and retrained. Hopefully this place speaks with their whole staff to ensure the food is being handled safely. That was very gross way to start off my morning.
