Went in for a basic BEC on a whole wheat bagel. It was made pretty quickly so not much of a wait. I wanted scrambled eggs but she circled fried, which I didn't see until after, not a big deal. The only issue is it was SUPER SALTY. I don't typically eat or add salt to anything, so I tasted it pretty easily. Next time I'll say no salt. The coffee bar is a "do it yourself" which I LOVE so that you can make it to your liking. They have hot and iced coffee. I did like this place, staff was friendly, I would return and I would recommend it. They also have a coldcut section, so you can definitely order a variety of foods/sandwiches. Long Island is home to oh so many bagel places and the Bagel Factory does an admirable job fighting for its place to be one of them. Came here for lunch, and my girlfriend and I had no problem getting our BECs. Despite the name, this place also does have a decent size deli inside too, so having that option for me I think always elevates any bagel place just a little bit more. Everything was fresh and delicious, even a little later in the day when you might expect that you'd get slim pickings on bagels. Coffee was only okay, but it's a bagel place, I'm not gonna ding them too much for it. There are a few tables indoors and outdoors if you choose to sit and stay, but you're probably better off to just grab and go. Parking can be a little tight, especially if you're going at prime time, but everybody moves quick so you likely won't be waiting long. read more

I just walked out of the Pearl Vision store next door (*to which I did a review on that location), walking to my car, SUDDENLY i realized there is a BAGEL FACTORY right next door. How convenient? All I could think of was a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Cashiers/Order takers, young teens were attentive and polite checking with everyone on the line if they were being helped. Even checking with me again after I ordered. I actually liked that. The sandwich was ready in a matter of minutes. When the bill rang up, YIKES $8.69 the sticker shock caught me by surprise. I guess I was expecting $4 and change for just a breakfast sandwich. I mean I didn't even order a coffee. This sandwich was a take home and devour for me. When my teeth sank into the bagel OH MY GOODNESS "DELICIOUS!!!" I'm really disappointed with my order. There's no option on the app to add special notes, and the menu itself says "toasted" before you choose your spread. I just wanted a toasted bagel--nothing complicated. When I called the shop to explain, they didn't seem to care at all. Instead of acknowledging the issue, they told me I should've selected an option that doesn't even exist. Omg I spoke to a young girl about an order for a gender reveal at the last hour. Yes i suck. It isn't possible to have a greater experience than I did buying bagels from this establishment. Firstly, let me just say, that I'm a picky person, who is very particular about the way my food is prepared. So, when I met the lady at the counter to take my order, she not only wrote everything down in exact detail, she made sure it was in a bag within a few minutes. I ordered a well-done bagel, two mini bagels (one with butter), three salads, and an extra side of butter. In the end, I left with neatly wrapped bagels, plenty of utensils and napkins, money left in my wallet, the best well-done bagel of my life, and a spectacular lunch. This bagel shop is now my #1 place on Long Island for an outstanding bagel experience. read more

Im giving the establishment 1 star and im trying to find a reason to give it more but i just don't see the point. As a repeated customer for years the place has just not improved in any aspects. I dont see any familiar faces, I see a bunch of kids who can care less about service who just don't have any clue what there doing.. Put the phone down and focus on your job please. Its a free for all no organization and even worse the prices continue to rise?? Half of my orders are wrong and it's very confusing in there like a maze. The worst part is the inconsistency of the food and I don't bother getting egg sandwiches there****(its like a roulette wheel what will ill be receiving today) The bagels however have been there upside but i heard there bagel maker for the past 20 years or so is no longer there. So on top of all the issues they have there??? The one best thing you can pride yourself in you essentially lose that???? Thats a shame.. The bagels have no flavor, tastes like nothing cardboard to me. Its not cooked in the middle and it even lost its freshness. we go there every week and Cindy, the Owner and Jay and the people behind the counter are the nicest that can be. I really can't say enough. They're all just so incredibly nice. Aside from that the food is delicious. Today we came out in the snowstorm to pick up an order that we made of bagels even though we didn't need them anymore because the party was canceled. This is my go-to bagel and eggs place when I'm by Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst. The hungry man is the best value for the buck! It comes with eggs, bacon, eggs on a hero with juice and coffee for a very reasonable price! My and my friends end up splitting the sandwiches as one is good for two people! The bagels are extremely fresh, and perfectly fluffy on the inside while being crispy on the outside - if toasted. They have great specialty cream cheeses and the scallion is better than anywhere else I've had in my area. The wait times are not bad at all, I'm usually in and out within a few minutes. I can not not count the amount of times I've order a bacon and egg sandwich on a bagel and they've either forgotten to include the bacon or in one instance completely forgot the eggs. Even ordering through their app you're not guaranteed to get your order correctly. I placed an order last Saturday for 2 Breakfast Specials. Keep in mind the Breakfast Special, by default, comes with bacon. The sandwich I ordered for my daughter was missing the bacon, which we didn't find out right away cause she decided to save her sandwich for later. This was the first place we tried and continue to come just about every weekend. The bagels are very tasty and they do not skimp out on seasonings. In 2010 my son got donations of bagels from many local bagel places for the days we worked on his Eagle Scout Service Project. Bagel Factory was our go to place and ddonated several dozen bagels. It was interesting trying other bagel places bagels and in 2010 Bagel Factory had the best bagels in Babylon. Fast forward to today and the last several times we have been there ... not the best bagels anymore.
