I got the lunch deal, but the portion didn't seem too much smaller than the regular dish. The flavours were great, though it only had about two and a half very thin slices of sausage, so it was lacking in that regard. Otherwise it's a fun affordable place to come eat with family!

We decided to get lunch here with relatives as we were all craving their Italian wedding soup. So we ordered calamari as an appetizer, all you can eat soup and caesar salad with our mains: alfredo fettuccine, lasagna, four meat pizza, mushroom and bacon pizza, and Hawaii heat pizza. We ended up not being able to dig into the pizza because of all the food! But no worries, we just had plenty of leftovers to take home. A good family restaurant in close proximity to the theatre. A good choice if you're looking for a filling option before or after a movie. Delivery options are available if you're not feeling up to cooking a family dinner at home.

My friend and I were in the area and were both starving, so we ended up here. We were seated right away and within minutes, we had some fresh bread. I mean c'mon, you can't even get food that fast at a fast food restaurant. Our sever Kyla was so chill yet so attentive. The last time I had a waitress who was that laid back was in the Bahamas. But with Kyla, we at least got what we requested for immediately. I'm still waiting for my ketchup from my waitress in the Bahamas from over 10 yrs ago. Bread & Caesar Salad - Always on point. I'd come here just to eat these. 5/5. Linguine Chicken Amatriciana - I couldn't decide between a white sauce or red sauce so I opted for this one with rose sauce. Was happy with my order and in fact, I stuffed my face so much with bread and salad that I have leftovers that I'm looking forward to. No doubt that it'll taste even better as the flavour settles in longer. The amount of chicken and veggies I thought were pretty generous, too. I'd probably order this again. 5/5.

We entered the East Side Mario's establishment, around the normal dinner time, the building was full and so was the small area before entering the restaurant. People were elbowing each other left and right. They recommended on the phone an hour earlier that we NOT make a reservation and just walk in. We were told it would take 45 minutes to be seated so we went to the nearby Tim Hortons and spent our time there, since it was too crowded in the building to wait, with no seating to even wait. We gave them our phone number to call when they had tables available. When we came back into the restaurant an hour later, they had served everyone else that was waiting and never called us. We asked if we could conjoin tables for our party of seven, and it took the manager to come out and a bunch of staff, to move and clean those tables, WITH our help. After thirty minutes of this commotion, we finally were seated, but weren't given menus or appetizer plates until another fifteen minutes into the service where a waiter finally came by and asked. The amount of waiting customers piled into half of the seating area, with multiple sets of tables having stacks of cups with forks in them, not being cleaned up. What kind of business leaves piles double the size of the table in height on tables that could be used for customers?! It felt disgusting eating with all the tables around us having used plates, forks covered in dry sauce and pasta, and the smell wafting to our table. Once we were served our food, majority of the party enjoyed it, some being a bit bland. We enjoyed the rest of the evening until we were celebrating a member's birthday. They placed the cake in front of a different person even when we confirmed who's birthday it was and they were pointing at themselves. It was a bit disheartening but the employees just shrugged and walked off. Then they forgot to come and take our money for the bill and left us sitting there like ducks for over twenty minutes. Do they not want us to pay? Free meals???? Overall a confusing and upsetting experience. Will not come again or recommend anyone to go to this location at least, unless you want to wait hours of your day doing nothing.

Well, so far so good as far as a recovery from the disastrous first visit here where I gave this place a one star rating. It's a healthy four stars on a Friday evening out!

Hadn't been to an East Side Mario's in a while and while out shopping with a friend we had the hankering for some pasta. Walked in and got seated immediately and then the hard time of trying to decide what to eat when everything looks and sounds good kicked in. Obviously we started off with the deliciously warm bread with butter and then chose the Caesar Salad, which is always phenomenal with the perfect amount of dressing and the Roasted Garlic and Tomato Soup. The soup is made of smooth tomato purée combined with sweet and mellow roasted garlic in a vegetarian broth with hints of basil, fennel and sweet cream. This was the first time I had this soup and it was so good!! The sweet cream killed the acidity that can sometimes happen in a tomato soup and I could taste the garlic plus the addition of the grated cheese on top made it a perfect combo. For our mains my friend got the Double-Bacon Carbonara with crispy bacon over linguine with alfredo sauce, green onions and even more bacon. She really loved it and found it perfectly sauced and not dry at all. For my main I ordered the Spaghettini Primavera with Goat Cheese which had a variety of gourmet veggies sautéed in olive oil with spinach, basil pesto and topped with goat cheese and I added chicken to it. This was fabulous and so flavourful!!! It was also such a big serving that I took half of it home and had it the next day for lunch. It was full of veggies, pasta and the chicken was a perfect addition to it.

The pasta looked great but actually tasted horrible. I would rate the pasta -200 if I could. Salad was decent. Nothing special. The best thing about the restaurant was the service. The food was bad but the service was amazing.

    Soda drink was really good...

The italian wedding Soup was too salty. The Caesar salad was just iceberg leaves. The pizza was hot, fresh and yummy. Shrimp pasta was good too. The best thing was the soda drinks and the oreo cheesecake.

I have been to this restaurant for taking deliveries for other. But, never thought to dine in myself. Change of plans was a complete worth, I enjoyed my food and drinks like there will be no food tomorrow. Thanks you so much for the divine hospitality. Highly recommended place!!!!

I came here last night for a family dinner. I made reservations for 8:45pm, but we didn't get seated until 9:15pm. They seemed a little under staffed, the hostess was running around doing multiple things instead of assisting the guests at the door. But anyway, our server was very nice and friendly. She brought us bread to start off. I thought the bread used to be garlic bread but now it's just a normal plain loaf of bread. In total we ordered 2 Chicken Parmesans ($19 each), 2 Veal Parmesans ($22 each), And the Lemon and Shrimp Spaghettini ($22). We were served unlimited soup and salad throughout the meal. We were supposed to also be served garlic bread as well but never got any. There are 3 soups to choose from (tomato, Italian wedding and minestrone) and 2 salads (Caesar and garden). The Caesar salad here is very good. We ordered the Funnel Cake and New York Cheesecake for dessert. Overall the food was good, I wish there was more staff working, the poor servers looked stressed out as they had so much to do. I'd recommend coming here if you're in the area. I'd come here again.

There were some seating outside but it was only the one table for two people. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The only downfall was that they ran out of meat sauce so the lasagna was out of the question but they made up for it in the pizza flavours. The menu is pretty straightforward; they offer multiple types of pizza ranging from classic meat lovers to unique ones like smoked salmon or tandoori chicken. I ended up ordering the four cheese because I was in a cheesy mood. The pizza was amazing. The crust had a nice puff up but was not so crunch that it would cut the roof of your mouth. The sauce-to-dough ratio was perfect, and neither ingredient overpowered the other. The cheeses they used (Ricotta, Feta, Bocconcini and cream cheese) didn't clash with each other, and it just seemed to be a slice of cheesy goodness with every bite. The pizza was not greasy, so no mountain of napkins was needed. A must-try if your into pizza and like my nannu says in Sicilian "Veni e pigghiati 'u divertimentu" (Come and enjoy it already).

We probably made a mistake when ordering 2 large half and half pizzas as this turned out to be a very pricey pizza dinner (over $80!!) but that's not the restaurant's fault. We'll just be more mindful next time. The pizzas were good and I loved the freshness of the toppings. Unfortunately, I did not love their crust as it was too chewy for my liking. The chicken wings we got was pretty heavily breaded which is also not my favorite way to eat them. We may come back to try their more adventurous offerings.
