    Mozzarella Spedini
    Amelia Z.

Really cute restaurant right on the golf course! Haven't been there in a while but I remember it was a great atmosphere. I was thrilled when I saw there on Grubhub now! Especially a snowy day like today. I saved every single one of my cheat day calories to indulge on the mozzarella Spedini - because I remember exactly how delicious it was and they did not disappoint! It is the way that traditional mozzarella and Carroza should be made with bread in the middle and gooey cheese, it's the perfect ratio of cheese to breading and I love that it comes with Alfredo and marinara. (I requested the sauce on the side so I could reheat it as it was take out). They also have really great salads, well seasoned burgers and well cooked and seasoned grilled chicken. I'm not sure if they still do dinners (it was lunch menu) but I remember I've previously had the chicken Milanese and it was phenomenal. Definitely worth checking out not just in the summertime!

Sampler minus the mozz sticks cause we'll they were good and I was hangry!!

Love this place. Popped in for dinner or a buffet of snacks lol. We ordered the sampler, some onion soup, apple salad, chicken parm and a chicken wrap. Servers were awesome, it's hard to find good help but these ladies killed it, I wanted to poach them to come work where I am lol food was on point. It was a much needed night out even though I left my desserts there!! Cocktails were strong but not deadly, we are probably gonna make this our new hang out when I get a night off. So grateful they are open on Mondays til 9, !!!

My eggplant and garlic bisque and my steak wrap with shoestring fries. Great grill marks on the wrap!!

After a fun 9 holes of golf with friends we are here for lunch. We were on a time crunch and food was served fast. I enjoyed a cup of their eggplant and garlic bisque. Wasn't too hot but it already was hot outside so it didn't bother me too much. Tasted great. I had the steak sandwich and their shoestring fries were delish. Very crispy how I like them. My husband had the grilled chicken and broccoli rabe and was happy with his meal. Also had a mason jar of red sangria, it was huge and refreshing. We will try this place again after future golf trips!

    Nice view from patio.

Was here for the first time. Food and service were great. Good value, impressive view from the outdoor patio. Tortellini Carbonara- perfect Lamb chops - excellent Band on Friday evening, nice touch! Will be back!

I enjoyed my experience a lot more than I expected to. The service was great. Went a little slow around the time I was ready to leave but it didn't change my mood from the experience. I ordered a Portobello Burger that was very tasty and filling. Had it with a glass of Moscato which is not the norm (to drink white wine with red meat) but i was in the mood for a sweet wine and it actually tasted great together. The fries was very good too. Normally I don't finish fries with burgers but I did this time. Still having room, I inquired about a dessert menu. Instead of a menu, the server brought out a tray of all of the desserts they offered, which i thought was a very smart move from a business/upselling/server perspective. It's easier to say yes when you visually see the dessert as opposed to reading it in a menu. I ordered the Blueberry White Chocolate Cheesecake which was the recommendation from my server and I have to say, it was AMAZING. It was unnecessarily delicious. YES, UNNECESSARILY DELICIOUS. It wasn't just good. It was GREAT. One of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. Awesome location. Located on a golf course. I sat at a window seat and if it was warmer out that day, I would have eaten outside because the view was amazing. I would definitely visit it again for burgers & desserts.

We couldn't wait to come back. Several months later on our second visit, we arrived well before their posted closing time - 9pm. It was around 7:45pm, the lights were on, but the door was locked and the staff seemed to be cleaning up. One of them looked up, saw us standing at the door and then went back to doing whatever they were doing without bothering to engage with us. It was incredibly frustrating having driven almost an hour with the expectation of getting some delicious food, only to be ignored by staff at a time when they were supposed to be open. Many months later (giving them the benefit of the doubt that the early closure on our last visit was a fluke) we made the trip up again. We arrived to find the place was locked up and dark - again during a time when they were supposed to be open. Today I was with some friends and we stopped to have lunch at Smokin' With Chris next door. During our meal, I mentioned my past experiences with The Lab, but also said how good the food was. So, we walked over to look at the menu and possibly pick up dinner for later that evening. It was around 1:30pm, the lights were off and the door was locked. I double-checked their website, and they were supposed to be open at 11:30am. While I was on my phone, an employee came up, unlocked the door, turned on the lights and began his shift - two full hours after they were supposed to be open! WTF?! Apparently, the owners of The Lab seem to believe that their food is so epic that they can just operate their business whenever they like regardless of their posted hours. This total lack of consideration for their customers is beyond insulting. It's really too bad because the food is good, but not good enough to offset the unprofessional manner the owners are running (or in this case, not running) this place. There are way too many other great dining options available nearby that actually adhere to their posted hours to put up with this nonsense.

Messy, dripping with flavor just like I like the food haha. The atmosphere is fun and cute, cool inside with art for sale. And outside you can sit and check out other stores around.

As I walked through the front doors, I noticed kegs alongside on the floor. This was kind of a turn off, kind of reminds me of a dive bar. So my mentality kicked in that we were going into a dive bar serving food. I kinda get the sketchy feeling. Once we were seated, and menus placed, we were served iced water A few minutes later, the server came back and took our order. My friend ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and some string french fries. I ordered the 1/2 smoked chicken, which came with two sides. I chose the rattlesnake beans and the creamy macaroni and cheese. Also include included was cornbread I originally wanted the street corn, as a side, but it was not available. Our lunches came quick, and my friend only ate half the french fries and cheeseburger, as she wasn't really turned on by them. The smoked chicken was fairly dry, with a very interesting smoked flavor to it that I can't put my finger on. I eat about 1/3 of it. Left the rest on the plate. The creamy macaroni and cheese was out of bounds top-notch. I could've eaten this all day. The rattlesnake rice and beans were just OK. The rice was cooked pretty good, and was seasoned well. The beans had a weird taste. Now thinking of this side dish, I was hoping for raw onions to be on top, but they were nowhere to be found. It'll be nice if there was chopped raw onions to go with this. The cornbread was delicious. I ate about half of it. It was a generous slice. While the server was fairly attentive, as she only checked in to fill the water glasses and ask how lunch was. She didn't ask us if we wanted a desert or coffee. Being old folks this would've been a great up for us, but it didn't happen. I had to ask for the check. I'm not sure if I would come back. I think this might be a one and done. The vibe just didn't hit it for me. Restrooms were clean. The restaurant was clean; the silverware clean. I don't know. It just was like a funky type layout and those beer kegs kinda sent the wrong tone to me as a guest. Lunch for the two of us was $40 and change and I left a $10 tip. We didn't have any cocktails or mock tails, we didn't have coffee or dessert either. From what I understand, the owner was near the exit when we left, not even a smile or a thank you for coming in...

I appreciated that both my cups of coffee were freshly brewed I look forward to my visits to this wonderful place and glad it's a perfect 1/2 way meeting place for me and my dear friend.

The price for takeout for these (3) things were on the high side to not include a side salad. With that said, we were aware that those weren't included as it wasnt listed on their online ordering. We just figured the portion for both Entrees were likely larger and thats why you paid a la carte for the salad. We come back home with the takeout and to our surprise for quite a high price, the portions were small. How small, each meal fit with pasta inside a plastic container, similar to those used for Asian takeout. For any other restaurant that serves Chicken Parmigana, its always been a larger round metal dish with pasta on the side. Typically with 2 pieces of chicken. Putting portion aside as one can argue that we may have been able to find that out before ordering, the (2) entrees were not great. The Chicken Parmigana had one piece of chicken and the chicken was charred, dry, minimal amount of cheese and the both the chicken and pasta itself had a scarce amount of pasta sauce. I found myself having to scrub the side of the dish for any sauce left. The lemon bay chicken was also quite dry and unfortunately the mixture of recip (chicken, pasta and sauce) was quite tasteless. I'm not typically one to leave a 1 or 2 star reviews often, as I'd rather just not go again to the place where I had said experience but between the quality of food, price and portion, this place falls into a bit of an exception for me. Look, I've eaten at many places, if your portions are going to small for the price (and without sides), then the quality needs to EXCEED the excepted regional standard for that dish to justify that reasoning. This experience did not do that, instead we are left with half of take home container of each meal that we will have to toss in trash for Fathers Day.
