The very first time I went, I limped out and could barely move for 2 days (I was really out of shape). But I couldn't wait to go back. You can see the thought that has gone into creating this studio - from disco balls to live plants to lighting that is adjusted throughout class to create the right moods. The mural wall is the latest addition and it brought the fun factor from a 9 to a 10. The space accommodates 12-15 per class - most of the morning Peach Step classes I've taken range from 6-12, which feels just right for energy without being overwhelming. The awesome-factor continues with the instructors. They all care, they're well-trained, and they deliver sessions focused on strengthening and toning the female body. They're also queens of playlists that keep us moving and having fun! I trust them and I'm thankful for how hard they get me to work. I'd highly recommend Brittney or Reme, especially if you're checking it out for the first time. Newport Peaches come in all shapes and ages - ranging from 20s through 60s, it's a space for everyone. And that's not just a tagline, it's a real feeling among the women who work out there.

Before class started, she went around to each person asking how they were, seeing what modifications they needed, and explained the reformer and class thoroughly. During the class, she communicated very detailed and was really helpful in demonstrating the different sets and techniques. After class, she went around to every person asking how the class was for them. I really appreciated how present and engaged she was with everyone! The studio was clean, cozy, and well equipped. It had a lot of reformers with towers and had all the tools needed for the workout. I did the a** and abs workout and it was great. It definitely pushed me and I just know i'm going to feel sore tomorrow! Extras- Parking is great! Right outside the studio. They are soooo welcoming as you come in! There's a shelf to put your belongings, a water station, and a bathroom. Thank you again! See you again soon :)

Secondly, the instructor came up to us and asked us about any modifications needed. I thought that was nice because believe it or not, not a lot of instructors take this initiative to go up to students. Sophia was really kind and helped us with our posture and form throughout the class. The machines were clean and easy to use. This was my first time using the tower and I enjoyed it! Her class flow was so good and I felt like I got a very balanced workout because we worked on everything. The beginner class is still challenging for me so it's gonna be a while before I move up a level haha. Music: it was kind of like EDM? I really liked it. And yes they have a bathroom! Surprisingly not all studios have one. I can't wait to come back again!

The barre instructor, Erika, appears sweet but her workouts are deliciously challenging! Morgan's Barre class is great too and a completely different barre style incorporating more HIIT and cardio. They offer a 'Pound' class which is a must try! It incorporates 2 x Drummer sticks and you're essentially having a jam session and rocking it out through the workout. It's a great stress reliever and recommended if you're having a bad day! I wish there were classes during the day between 10am and 5pm while my sons at school. I manage to do the 6.30am class but it's a rush in the mornings to get back and get him to school. 1 rest room, no showers. I like that they provide lockers with keys with no extra charge. There's also a key rack to hang your key during class. Free parking available.

The classes are mostly Barre focused so a lot of it is standing and the instructors will definitely work you. Morgan's classes are high energy and cardio based. I always feel like I get a good workout from her. Erika's classes are also Barre but have a yoga-flow element to them. Danielle offers a Triple A (Arms, Abs, Ass) class that will tone the hell out of you and she just recently started teaching a TRX Barre workout that I haven't tried yet but will! They also hired a new girl Sam who does a Barre Bootcamp class that I've heard nothing but good things about. One thing I want to point out is that despite being in an industrial area, the studio is very clean. They have lockers for you to keep your things safe and the floors are hardwood (or laminate, I can't really tell the difference) point being that you won't walk into a hot room to the foul odor of sweaty carpet which makes this place a winner in my book.

I began attending yoga, yogalates and barre classes and trying out different instructors. I even tried the Metal Yoga and loved it! There used to be a yoga class that incorporated reiki which was awesome (Meera we miss you!) Currently my favorite classes are the sound baths with Missy. They also feature special classes every once in a while for special things like breath work etc. which are quite popular. I really like this studio because it's not one of those impersonal corporate owned places that has a generic big box feel. I hate those places because any time I have done the one free class deal to see if I like it I end up getting hounded by text messages trying to sell me a monthly membership. Hello Yoga is NOT that kind of place. They are so chill here. It's hard to find a sport or a workout routine that we both enjoy at the same time. We truly love taking classes together. I have been taking many classes with different pilates instructors in 2011. Del is absolutely the best pilates instructor I have ever had. Just a little back ground info for those of you who does not know Del, the owner and her studio. Del is passionate about helping people in achieving maximum fitness, wellness, and health. She insists that the class size be small, never exceeds 5 person each class. You get lots of individual attention because Del watches everyone's forms very carefully. She makes an effort to get to know each of her students so that she knows very well who has had what injuries. She would adjust the exercises accordingly. I feel safe when the instructor is so vigilant and is watching over me when I exercise. The studio is spacious and very clean. It has a big balcony right outside of the classroom. So the studio is always well lit with crisp breeze from Corona del Mar beach. I used to take classes such as cross fit, TRX, body sculpture, barre, yoga, weight training, Tabata, spin on a regular basis. The result was lower back, neck, wrist injuries that require me to rest for months before I could go back to my regular exercise routines. Now I finally find what works best for me.
