Gave it a deposit They did show up when they said they would they installed the units That's where it all went wrong We ended up having to change all the ductwork He had to get a piece fabricated to make it work He showed up one night with the piece to finish up the job mind you we would've still had problems The job was 14,000. I gave him an $8000 deposit which he asked for 10,000. He came back with the piece we needed and he wanted me to give him the balance that I owed him before he walked into the store to finish the job. I met with Grossman to swap out a toilet & the water controls in a shower (non-emergency service call). Matt came to my house to provide an estimate. We scheduled a time for him to return a few days later (11/2020). They came and they did a good job. There were no economic surprises. They cleaned up their mess and everything works fine. It was a pleasure scheduling, from the polite office staff, to the confirmation call that my tech was on the way, to the actual appointment with my technician Randolph. Randolph, an energetic and polite young man, greeted me with a firm handshake, and friendly smile. He confirmed the job scope, and price, and got to work and diagnosed the problem, and immediately solved it! He also gave me a tutorial, based on the questions I was asking, on how to use my existing system more efficiently, how best to set each thermometer, and when and how to change air filters if / when I wanted to do it myself. His techs - Mark and Robert -were here all day and did not stop until job was done, checking to make sure it was working properly and explaining the system to us so it can function for years to come. They were cordial in working in masks in this trying time (and with us wearing them in our home as well to protect them). Removing the old furnace was a task in itself as it easily weighed OVER 500 lbs and had to be broken up in two pieces to get out of our basement! I had used DB prior to for our annual AC checks, but this is the first big time job and couldn't be happier. Great service all the way around.
