The bento box was pretty good however the sesame chicken tasted more like orange chicken. Secondly I ordered the West End Roll & i would not recommend- stick of imitation crab with over cooked shrimp & an odd textured sauce over top. I've only done take out so that's all I can comment on. They have a website to order which makes things easy. I've had the sesame chicken and honey walnut shrimp and both were great. They weren't overly fried or breaded and not greasy-just really well made food. They are quick and well priced for delicious food. read more

Pretty good food, first time eating here. I was greeted kindly by the lady at the front desk, although when I called in my order for pickup, I was placed on hold for almost 6 minutes which is unacceptable. The egg rolls were really good, it's hard to top my favorite Chinese place but they did. My husband had the General Tso's chicken and said it was one of the best he's had, it was actually spicy like it's supposed to be. I also ordered scallion pancakes and although they were alright, the sauce was not like it's supposed to be. Overall the food was ok, I would go back for the egg rolls.The wonton soup was just ok too, not quite in point. I will go back, everyone deserves a second chance and it wasn't horrible. read more

My family loves Eastern Dragon! They have a great selection-any sort of Chinese or Japanese dish you are in the mood for, a few that I haven't seen on other menus. It's nice that they have both Chinese and Japanese-I can get sushi for an appetizer (great selection of rolls-chef's special is always worth a try!) and a Chinese dish for the main course. The staff are ALWAYS friendly and the place is always clean and pleasant. Most definitely recommend! read more

Just OK. Restaurant is very nice and clean. Staff is friendly. Hot & Spicy soup fairly bland. Soft shell crab in Spider roll tasted old, like just reheated. Salmon sushi was good. I also experienced "rounding" up of bill.. don't agree with that. Probably won't be back. read more

Every time I crave Chinese food (which is quite often), my go to place is Eastern Dragon. Their food is always good and is never cold. They have excellent customer service and have fair and reasonable prices. I definitely recommend Easter Dragon for anyone wanting some good Chinese food. read more

Based on the good reviews on Yelp, I went to Eastern Dragon on a Monday night around 7:30 with 2 other adults and one small child. The restaurant was practically empty, so it was very surprising that we sat for 15 minutes without anyone coming to our table to even offer a glass of water. With an 18 month old, we couldn't afford to hang around. Their food might be good, but customer service surely isn't. read more

We have been coming here for years. I have ordered the General Chicken (all white meat) countless times. They must of changed their recipe because it was the best I have ever tasted and I have been to many Chinese restaurants! The flavor was very tasteful and not over powering. read more

I went here on the recommendation of the good people of Yelp and was sorely disappointed. I ordered orange chicken and pork fried rice, hoping that it would be as decent as some of the Chinese food I've eaten in NJ. How sad I was upon my first taste. The orange chicken tasted like it absorbed all the frying oil. The pork fried rice was completely overdone and was complete mush. I will not be returning to this place. Hopefully, there is a decent Chinese restaurant somewhere in this neck of the woods because ED is definitely not it. read more

Excellent!!! Best Chinese food I've ever had!

Yesterday was my first experience eating take out from here. I got cold noodles with sesame sauce (actual name of the dish) and it was absolutely delicious! I also got some eggrolls and they were great too. Not super fried but it was later in the evening that I went so I assume maybe next trip will be better. What I really wanted was beef and broccoli but its 10$! And I dont think it comes with an eggroll like most places do with their dinners. I am definitely going to try their lo mein next time or pad thai. Not a let down! Also a very upscale inside. I was impressed. read more

Eastern Dragon, Quakertown (Coopersburg is not the same owners) is the BEST! We eat there regularly and have NEVER been disappointed. The food is always fresh and cooked perfectly. Owners and staff are the best. Looks from the outside are very deceiving. read more

We have been regulars at Eastern Dragon for years, but recently they raised their prices. Very surprised at this, since they must compete with other Chinese restaurants within a few miles. We have begun to limit our visits to once every other month because of price increases. They also remodeled recently and the booths in the inside center of the restaurant have made dining privacy impossible with see-thru panels to the tables on the other side of these panels. Not a fan of that. Solution would be to dark tint these, PLEASE!! Otherwise, food is good, service is good. read more

I ordered takeout online a few hours before I knew I would pick it up. Online there was a pickup time option, but they made it when I ordered it not when I said I would pick it up. I also asked for wasabi and ginger, but I guess they don't look at the specifics on an online order because I didn't get that either. We have frequented this restaurant for 6 years and have never had a bad meal. The sushi is very good, maybe not world-class but certainly very very good for the price. Everything else has been excellent quality, very fresh. This place is a diamond! I have been slightly addicted to tuna sashimi for about six months now, and I have had consistently great tuna from this restaurant. I usually order take-out or delivery, although I try to talk my husband into going to the restaurant once in awhile. It's a clean, very comfortable and well appointed space. The rolls are well done, always beautiful and the tuna tataki, heavenly! I cannot say enough good things about the food, decor, and service. A friend took me here for takeout because she knew the sushi was good, i cannot argue with her since i didn't try it, but their chinese.... first experience, not impressed. Actually really disappointed. I got my favorite, sesame chicken w/ rice.. and everywhere i've gone before, you can have your choice of what type of rice you want. i didnt have that choice, if i wanted pork fried, it was $5.00 extra!! . opening my takeout container....there was so much, all i can describe it as is, brown water? maybe it was their sauce? i literally had to drain it out so it wouldnt make a mess. but the chicken looked NOTHING like sesame chicken i ever had. didnt have much flavor.. i barely ate any of it. ....just an overall bad food experience.i will not go back. The food is very good once you find out what they do well. Can't go wrong with the chicken with broccoli or general Tso's. There wontons leave something to be desired but the ribs are exceptional. They only offer meals at lunch but they are the only chinese in town that delivers. You can also order online which is convenient unless you're paying with a credit card. read more
