I met Mackenzie, filled out some paperwork, chatted about problem areas and she got to business. I like that you don't choose deep tissue, sweedish, hot stone, etc, but that the massage is customized to your individual needs. I had a combination of all of the above used in my massage. Apparently I had knots in my neck, back near shoulders, lower arms and a tight butt (i'll take that as a compliment! LOL). She took the time to work out each and every knot telling me that if anything was too much to let her know. It was very intense to work them out but not too much but all worth it as man do I feel 100% relaxed today. I don't think there was any part she missed. For me the neck massage was worth the amount, i didn't realize i was so tense up there. She covered arms, neck, legs, back, butt, feet, hands, scalp.... it was amazeballs. When I was checking out, I had mentioned that I travel a lot for work and she told me they often have same day appts available if I ever just have a couple of free hours. So check this place out! I ask her why no one called me because I had to drive 30 minutes to get there and she said she called but didn't leave a voicemail "because that doesn't work out for them". I left mad and asked for the owner to call and the owner proceeds to tell me how I should have googled at what week is was appropriate and she was sorry that I didn't like how her customer service manager responded. She was rude and condescending and refused to address the customer service issue I called about. She made the entire situation my problem because I shouldn't have made the appointment but didn't want to acknowledge the customer service and communication break down. The website should be updated to reflect what services and to whom they are offered, the staff should learn how to handle customers and the owner needs to take responsibility and accountability for customer service concerns. I've never had such a terrible customer service interaction let alone from an owner that refused to even listen and address my issue. I also looked at legitimate local spa websites and they clearly define who, when and how long pregnancy massages should be.

Altho the massages were decent and my therapist does have "good hands" & was very gentle, maybe a little too gentle, there were many cons that made my experience unenjoyable. Nobody speaks any English- everything I said or asked, my therapist didn't understand, she just smiles & says "ok" and during the 2 hours in the room, she went in & out a lot. Not to mention, she shorted me about 10 mins- apparently, the time starts after you pay, not when the massage starts & they don't use a timer. Massage itself was pretty good. For a regular massage, it would have been very nice. But for a Thai Massage.. it was subpar- I've had many, from all over, over the last 12 years and can say this was at the bottom, but again NOT A BAD MASSAGE. I just look for a certain technique and traditional style.. I also noted on the paper i wanted a back walk, and no hot stones. They used hot stones and i got no back walk. May go again for a different massage but for Thai, looks like i'll just have to drive 2 hours to NOVA/DC to get my fix..

They guided us to the couples massage room, where there were two beds, a station for oil, towels, etc. we were instructed to be in our birth day suits. Once the massage started, I knew that it was going to be a painful massage. We paid for the deep tissue, so it was kind of too late. I did tell her to take it a bit easy. It felt good majority of the massage. But some areas, such as my back and thigh hurt. They provided us with a small bottle of water after their services. I felt a bit relieved after the massage, but the next day our bodies felt sore. I will still give them 5 stars because it was my choice of massage. It wasn't their fault. Spa was very clean

I'm updating my response as they finally got in touch with me 2-hours later and stated there was a family emergency. I see someone else had a similar experience to me as well a couple years ago, and others on other sites that the previous person referenced, so take it for what you will. My experience wasn't professional with them, including her writing a review about herself here. But I hope everyone is okay.
