The proportions for the food was really good. The service was it was OK in the line. It just opened a 15 minutes so they weren't 100% fully staffed yet after everybody got there machine moves pretty good. I think it will be a pretty good deal so as far as mine concern like the portions is just a breakfast section of it the proportions was really good so I would give it a four star rating. Our service was faulty. An extra side dish was accidentally sent out on my partner's plate, and the wait staff said, "oops!", removed it off of his plate, and served it to the person sitting behind us. I think it is rude to remove food off of a customer's plate, even if it is an accidental extra. But especially poor procedure to then serve that to another customer. The menu on their Facebook was not current, and what I had been very excited to order was no longer in their printed menu. The current menu was less thrilling. My club sandwich a good size. They allowed customization. I felt my sandwich was of average restaurant value, perhaps a bit better value. The 3 breaded fish basket and fries was not impressive. Very basic. The fries are breaded fries. (I personally like that style) I do not think it was a good value for cost. Very basic restaurant, nice atmosphere with a poor first time experience due to singular wait staff and out of date menu online.

The pistachio cranberry bread was inspirational--a couple of people said they were going to try to make it. The melted chocolate truffle was amazing, as always. My very favorite was the white chocolate mousse--the dot of raspberry sauce was delightful. The mousse was light and airy but also rich and decadent--and my last bite had a white chocolate chip. At the JC Wyatt House, you have dinner in an intimate, small dining room inside a Victorian Mansion. Here is how it works. They are only open on Thursday and Friday, 1130am to 1230pm, for lunch and Wednesday thru Saturday, 530pm to 7pm for dinner. Reservations are required and you will choose your main entree for all of your party when you make your reservation. We went for our wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. We arrived a few minutes before our 6pm reservation and were seated. At exactly 6pm, our server, Chris, started with our choice of hors d'oeuvres. Either a potato and fresh vegetable soup, or shrimp cocktail. My wife had the shrimp, and I had the soup. Both were outstanding. For dinner, I had the lamb, and my wife had the filet mignon. Both came with potatoes, carrots and a roll. Again, both meals were outstanding. We finished with a dessert trio that was amazing.
