Stopped in for a beer. No AC, fans blowing . Bartender was very wrapped up in the computer didn't pay much attention to us. She was speaking to us but her mind was 100 miles away. Small outside area on the water. Beer selection was ok. Place is clean and they have pizza etc cute dog bar inside.

We stopped in at Eastpoint Beer Company on a June Friday night around an hour before closing. We were impressed and it deserves a visit. The exterior is rustic but exactly what it should be on The Forgotten Coast. Very similar to outdoor, or quasi outdoor, restaurants in the larger area. Pull right up, there's unpaved parking all around. Inside is clean but can be a little tacky to the touch from the open windows and ceiling fans churning in the Florida humidity. The business is right on the bay so you get a little breeze, I suppose. Remember, this is the old Florida, the real Florida. If you're expecting frigid AC and hospital cleanliness inside then this isn't the larger area for you - head to Panama City Beach or commercialized Florida. Trust me, I love some ice cold AC, but that's not why you come to the Forgotten Coast. The inside has bar seating and tables. There was a comic performing out back closer to the water and a small crowd in chairs but we remained inside as we were a little tired from our day of travel. The bartender was very knowledgeable and helpful without hovering. The beer was good but I liked the beers at Water Craft Brewery in Apalachicola just a little better. But HELLO NURSE we then ordered the handmade, hand-tossed pizza. It was great! I usually am not a pizza crust aficionado but the crust is sooo tasty! Needless to say the toppings and sauce made the pizza a big wow! Sorry, no photo, I lost my mind in the flavor! If you're in the area for a weekend, or more, I really do recommend this very good local, real-Florida, independent tap room and brewery.

What an amazing little brewery. Pammie is the type of beer tender you want to pour for you. Enjoyed a flight ( $12 for 4oz pour) of Swamp Girl, WCIPA. Excellent. Dowd's Stout. YUMMY & close enough to Oyster City Hooter Brown. Which they also have in a can. Have a Nice Day IPA and St. Desiree. Both good IPAs, very herbal. Also offering a bunch of lawnmower beers you know in cans, wine & pizza too. We will try Pizza, next time but it looked really good and cute Pizzamaker had a cool vibe. Take the ride from Appalach. Best brewery with a view & hippie * dog friendly.

    Brews and views!

Love this place! Great beer, friendly service and awesome water views. Lovely rustic outdoor seating. Old Florida feels!

Amazing pizza. Good beer, great views. Came back 3 times in 24 hours. Very friendly staff and had some solid live music.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stop at the Eastpoint Beer Company. It's a nice location, close to the highway. You can't miss it. They've got a pretty significant sour beer collection, if that's something you're in to. We tried the Blondes and the Red/Ambers. They were all pretty good. The service was great and the bartender was more than happy to talk to us about the different brews. Looking at other reviews...sure, they could do more to optimize their space and location. For a small operation, though, I thought it was pretty nice.

Small brewery right on the water in Eastpoint. They have flight boards out but are currently not doing flights so really should remove the boards from sight. They did offer to let us have taster of anything they had, which was nice. We did have to go through quite a few before Ben found one he wanted. The Nitro Milk Stout was actually warm, so that wasn't good. :( We sat outside which has a lot of potential but currently is not being utilized yet. They are working on the dock area for more seating but the area needs a major face lift and new furniture is desperately needed. I don't mind dive breweries just like I love dive restaurants but do think they could really use their space outside better and to their benefit with the water views.

    Nice view of the bay.

We went for a trivia night to Eastpoint Beer company and found the place very crowded! Good News was they were extremely accommodating and found us a great table outside that could fit all 8 of us AND ensured we could still here the trivia game run by Bullfrog. Bullfrog runs a great game, low tech but very fun and challenging, made for a great evening. We also came with a dog and this is a VERY dog friendly spot, including the DOG BAR at the entrance. Everyone in our group had a different beverage and they all got High Marks. I chose the Irish Red Ale, That Red Phase and found it spot on! Others enjoyed Dowd's Stout, The Hazy Falcon, Amber's Ale and a Very Bretty Christmas, to each his own and everyone found a happy landing spot. We also ordered 3 pizzas, meet, veggie and a white pizza, all were great. Staff was quite welcoming and made for a fun evening in a beautiful location. Sitting outside we were able to enjoy a lovely sunset over the bay. Had a very fun night and we would certainly return.

Stopped by on our way back from a festival on SGI....so glad we did! So cute! Great beer, views, and friendly service! The dog-friendly location had some fun artwork also! We had garlic knots that were awesome and several around us had pizza that looked great! Don't miss this stop!

Great beer, fun location, good pizza. Stopped in on a Tue late afternoon. Bartender Josh was helpful and attentive. We stayed much longer than we intended, playing trivia and just enjoying the vibe. Recommend as a stop if you are in the area.

It was quite crowded so there was a 30 minute wait. We didn't mind because there was a lot to explore and plenty of seating outside. There was a mini golf course, a gift shop and two more dining rooms. Both of those had a bar, dimmer lighting and live music plus one had outdoor seating. We didn't know they had other dining rooms so I told the hostess First Available. We ended up in the family dining room. Not complaining; just informing you that you do have a choice. You can get drinks in there but it doesn't have the atmosphere of the two bars. We were seated and ordered a Coke and a Coke Zero. I tasted mine and it had this awful muddy flavor that lingered. I looked at Jenn and she had the same look on her face. I don't know what was wrong with those drinks but they were so so bad. We told the server and she swapped both for ice tea. Sadly the tea had the same dirty disgusting taste. I don't know what's in the water there but it almost made me retch. We didn't order anything else to drink. We both ordered appetizers next- I got coconut shrimp and Jenn got the Buffalo Skins, basically loaded tater skins. Both were delicious!!! The appetizers were generous portions and quite filling. Jenn didn't want an entree after that but I ordered one - the southern fried chicken sandwich with a loaded baked potato. I should've followed Jenn's lead and skipped the entree. By the time it arrived (which wasn't an unreasonable wait) I was full, quite thirsty and ready to go. The sandwich looked very good, as did the tater but I couldn't eat it. I asked for a box and took it all back to our AirBnB. I did nibble to taste the fried chicken and it was quite good. I'm a fried chicken snob and quite picky. It was hot, not too much breading, well seasoned and the fillet was juicy. The only down side was the sauce on it. It was awful! I used a napkin to try to wipe it off. The server did ask me if I wanted it and I said yes (it was listed on the menu with the sandwich). I should've asked for it on the side. If you order the chicken sandwich you might consider asking for the special sauce on the side. I'm sure many people like it but for me it ruined the sandwich. I did bring the sandwich and baked tater back and will eat it later if I can. The baked potato looked very good, not too small and very well loaded. I didn't taste it though so I can't tell you much about it. They brought the sour cream separately too. Smart! Now I can reheat the tater. I didn't try any of the seafood except the coconut shrimp. I have to say it was excellent-large shrimps and a generous portion. I didn't need the entree at all. The place seems very popular and I will suggest giving it a try. I didn't notice anyone else complaining about the drinks so I don't know how to explain our experience with the Cokes and the tea. Neither of us could drink even one drink of them. I read reviews after we left and one even mentioned the delicious water. Maybe tuck a bottle of Aquafina in your bag or pocket, just in case.

We were so impressed that we recommended this place to multiple people and were genuinely excited to come back last Sunday. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete disappointment from start to finish. The service was noticeably worse, the beer selection was extremely limited compared to before, and the food was honestly some of the worst seafood we've had in years. We ordered the fried calamari and the mixed grilled seafood plate. The calamari was chewy, flavorless, and the batter had an unpleasant texture. The mixed seafood plate was even worse - the oysters looked, smelled, and tasted awful, and the fish, shrimp, stuffed crab and scallops were completely bland. Even the fried okra, which should be an easy Southern staple, was disappointing. We left wondering if they changed chefs or management because the difference from our first experience was shocking. Even my mom, who is far from a picky eater, could barely eat her food. It's genuinely upsetting because this used to be a place we loved and enthusiastically recommended to others. Sadly, after this experience, we won't be returning.

I feel comfortable and welcome here, whether I'm coming off of the beach or I'm dressed up and enjoying a night out. I originally visited the Scallop Republic during the Singer Songwriter festival, Blast On The Bay. The first time I visited the venue I knew that it was a place where I could have fun and be relaxed, while enjoying the local atmosphere and vibe. I am excited about the wonderful transition that has happened. This intimate music venue has fantastic bands. In addition, they have many large screens that you can watch your favourite team play. Last night was the Lilies For The Fillies, Pink party. Although I didn't eat, there was an amazing spread of food. I cannot wait to see what transpires from this point on. In addition to being an intimate music venue, it also has so many other additional spaces. The inside is intimate, but this venue also has large outside areas with fabulous views, as well as the covered underneath section, which offers a reprieve from the sun. They also have lots of popular outdoor games. Tonight was an incredible event, and also a fundraiser for breast cancer. Big shout out for tonight's musicians, Bo Spring Band, amazing! I look forward to all the other future events.
