We're preparing to sell a vehicle and needed to take care of some overdue maintenance, including replacing a windshield. I called around to compare pricing, and they clearly stood out--not just for having the most competitive quote, but also because several local dealers and body shops mentioned they regularly refer customers their way. That gave me a lot of confidence going in. For my 2013 Chevy Equinox (no sensors), the quote was $375, which was the best I found. When I asked about doing two vehicles at once, they offered $25 off each job, which I really appreciated. I ended up scheduling a second replacement for my 2019 Chevy Bolt EV. I stopped by this shop because a trim piece near my windshield had come loose, and I wasn't sure whether it was a cosmetic issue or something that needed immediate attention. Before visiting, I called to ask if I needed an appointment, and they told me I could just stop by. A technician took a look and quickly determined that it was only a cosmetic issue. He also explained that I could order the replacement part myself and bring it in, and they would install it for free. After ordering the part from Amazon, I returned a few days later. Although it was a different technician helping me, he was just as friendly and helpful. He was in the middle of working on another vehicle, but when he saw me, he stopped what he was doing, came over, and replaced the part without hesitation. I chose ESMAG to fix a 10mm windshield rock chip, based on faitly positive Yelp reviews. I scheduled an appointment for 10:30am, and when I arrived (promptly) there was only 1 other customer waiting / vehicle in their service bay. The receptionist was friendly and timely to help me get checked in, and quoted 15-20 minutes to repair the rock chip. By 10:45 am my car was still sitting in the parking lot without any progress. By 10:50 am a technician inspected the windshield, tossed a towel on it and set his TOOLBOX directly on the hood, and walked off. At 11am the tech finally returned and applied the resin/suction kit to fix the chip. At 11:15 they called me upfront to pay. I walked out to my car and immediately still noticed the chip, as well as the same small hairline crack that was there to begin with. I asked the tech to come look at it as it didnt look right. The tech briefly looked at it, said it was "normal" and the chip and crack would still show, but had been injected with resin. I asked if he was sure this was as good as it would get and he said "yes unless you want to buy a new windshield" (!). To me, it looks like they didn't do anything, and I'm very dissatisfied with the results. Every time I've had a rock chip replaced in the past, the chip is hardly visible, if at all. I paid about $100 for this "service" and feel totally unconfident that this crack won't spread. I'm now going to a different windshield repair shop to have them assess, give a second opinion, and hopefully have this repaired right. Very pleased with Eastside mobile service. I had my van's windshield replaced by them 4 months ago (out-of-pocket) and recently it received another rockchip (ugh). They tried to repair it but while doing so the crack propagated making it unrepairable. They clearly warned me beforehand that this could happen especially if there are cracks extending radially beyond the rockchip crater (there was) . They were able to replace the windshield (again) at a very competitive price as before plus with a slight discount that I requested given the unusual circumstances. Kudos to them for keeping a happy and repeat customer. Another added benefit of doing business with them is that I received a voucher for 3 months of free car washes at Brown Bear for *both* times the windshield was replaced. read more

If I could give less stars I would. My mom took her car in for a simple side and windshield repair. When she picked it up the side window would not go up. She took it back and they were rude and condescending telling her it was her fault and the motor was bad. It is very clearly the wrong size window and they refuse to fix it. Now they want me to bring it in, or wait two weeks for mobile technician (reason I went for mobile service was so I didn't have to). They will not come and get. After I indicate I feel they should take care of it, the self-identified "dispatcher" became excessively belligerent. Had them replace front window glass. Price was average; work was quick; glass looks good and is weathertight to date. The issue is that when I went to pick up my car, the hood and roof were covered with black sticky stuff and a long piece of molding was hanging from the passenger window. There were also several small areas in the hood where the paint was chipped. This company apologized, washed of the goo and removed the piece of molding. But they claimed the chips were pre-existing. The chips were not pre-existing. Strongly recommend taking lots of pictures of your car before letting this company work on it. IMO this company is badly managed. read more

Had a huge crack and needed a full windshield replacement. These guys had the best quote and value in a 50 mile radius. Scheduled an appointment on the weekend, did a quick drop off. Replacement was done quicker than expected and everything went smooth as can be. Extremely disappointed experience. Had scheduled for windshield replacement for Honda Civic w/ Honda Sensing. First, no mobile service because driver assistance calibration has to be done. I didn't receive proper communication after dropping off car, so I called them ~ 5 PM to enquire, and they mentioned car is ready for pick up. Then, as my Uber was arriving, they called to say calibration couldn't be done because it was dark, and asked to come the next day. I had to pay cancel fee to Uber. Next day, they called to say driver assistance system couldn't be calibrated. They had put up an after-market glass and driver assistance system stopped working, with flashing orange lights on the car dashboard (because calibration failed). I had to take the car home without the system calibrated. (PS, payment was by Geico insurance, and they waived off $100 deductible temporarily till fix). They said they would need to order OEM glass from a dealer. Still waiting to get windshield replacement with the correct glass and getting my driver assistance system fixed!!! What surprised me is the shop's lack of experience in dealing with Honda vehicles with Honda Sensing. Wouldn't they already know that putting incompatible glass would fail the calibration of assistance system? Shouldn't they have ordered the proper glass beforhand or reschedule... if the ones they had doesn't work? Also, I have provided a picture of the windshield they put in, driver assistance camera looks like it's in a hole, and sealing across glass is all out of place. JFYI, these guys were recommended by Bellevue Honda Center dealer... In turn, these folks order OEM glass from that dealer. Wasting my time dealing with this. They're open during Covid and it was super easy to schedule an appointment! My mom's been on a couple occasions, so I thought I'd give them a try. I called to schedule and appointment and they got me in the next day. When I arrived, the woman at the desk told me someone would be right out to review the chip in my window. The tech who helped me was super thorough and quick! They pretty much had my car done by the time I finished talking to my insurance company. Would definitely recommend. Weeks later, our teen accidentally pulled the rear view mirror off our other car, and we took that car to EMAG. We expected to pay something for this service, but they didn't charge us. GLASS ACT I recently had to replace a window in my car. Somebody sped by and threw out a bunch of Richard Sherman jerseys and smashed out the glass. Or was it the small meteorite brightly streaking through the night sky that just happen to hit my car window. Could have been the pile of glass I found on my passenger seat left by some lazy entitled ner'erdowell at the dog park in broad daylight with people close by. You pick. Keep your eyes open! Let me know if you see some edgy guy with a large black purse. So I called my friends at the Newport Hills Chevron (great honest service) and asked for advice. They recommended Eastside Mobile Auto Glass on Gilman Blvd in Issaquah next to Big O Tires. When I called Tonia was more than understanding and helpful. She gave me a fair and reasonable price ordered the glass and told me to come in at 2pm the next day. She had said that it would take about an hour and a half so I took off on foot to find lunch. Fortunately just west I saw Pogotcha (not sure if that is an animal or planet) I went in (see review). After a very delicious lunch and pleasant conversation I headed back. I noticed that Eastside had already called. When I walked in Tonia said that my car was ready and gave me the bill. I also met a very pleasant guy Tom (owner) in the office. I looked at my bill while she ran my card and saw that the amount was higher than I had been quoted. A disposal fee had been added. Laughingly I asked them what did you dispose of? The window was already disposed of when I pulled in. Helllooo! They both were very apologetic and said that there billing software had automatically added the fee. They quickly refunded my first payment charged the correct amount and gave me both receipts. My friends let me recommend Eastside Mobile Auto Glass. TL;DR; They sent All-Star Auto Glass rep even though I hired these guys. All-Star had much worse reviews and if I knew that's I would get, I wouldn't have Eastside Mobile Auto. The job was very untidy and left the car damaged. Good: - Rep came on time within given 4 hour window. - The job was done on-site within 45 mins. - Generally tried to keep things clean. Bad: - Deception: Sent all-star auto glass instead of Eastside mobile auto glass. - Quality: Very untidy job. I can clearly see foam and glue sticking out from all the sides. - Damage: Left a bunch of razor marks and huge scratches on the side panels behind windshield. Just replacing them will cost me more than this job. - Windshield: Replaced with a lower quality winshield with blue shade at the top clearly standing out as "non-OEM" replacement. - Cleanliness: Didn't vacuum and left specks all over the seats/floor. - Price: For the quality of work these guys were on the higher side of cost. Context: I had replaced windshield once before 7 years ago in this 2003 car. The last job was much more cleaner. read more

I usually never leave feedback but this was the worst experience i have ever been thru. Pulling in and the workers could care a less if you are there are not. It was like i was bothering them. the rock chip repair was about 5min repair. i still question if the rock chip was worked on? When leaving the dude went back to seating on his chair and left a tool on my hood with no protection under it. then i go to back out and he left a ladder under my front tire as i back over it. This company on the Eastside relieved the trauma of a car break-in that happened to me in a "secured" downtown Seattle garage with cracks to the laminated passenger front door window and shattered rear door window. Tanya is one of the friendliest and most helpful receptionists I have dealt with and she easily took care of everything with the insurance company and scheduled repairs for the next morning. Their price quote was 33% less than a Bellevue competitor. They have a comfortable lounge with Keurig coffee, clean restroom, and free high-speed internet. Even though they estimated 2 hours for the job, they finished both windows in under an hour. They cleaned up all the shattered tempered glass bits, including the third row seats of the SUV. I couldn't be more satisfied with their services and would recommend them in a heartbeat. read more

I was scheduled for two of my vehicles to get their wind shields replaced on the same day. They came out and replaced the one in my car and not the one in my SUV due to the weather. Instead of calling to reschedule the SUV, I had to call them and find out that it was going to be another week before it can be done. I took the car out 5 hours after the new window was installed and heard noise like the window was down. I put my hand by the drivers side speaker and felt wind coming through. I called Eastside Mobile about the issue and was told to bring the car in a week and a half later for them to look at it. I expressed my concern about water getting in and damaging the inside of the car so they told me it would be best to park it until they can look at it. This means I get to driver my gas guzzling truck for the next week and a half and pay 3x the amount in gas while I wait for them to correct their mistake. I'm blown away by this piss poor experience since I've had them work on my cars before. I'm reading to try a new vendor that can commit to getting the work done right the first time or at least correcting the problem in a timely manner. read more

It was one of those days that started off bad and was getting worse fast. An unexpected incident that resulted in a broken rear windshield topped off the morning. Rain was pouring down in buckets so I needed the glass fixed. Getting the glass fixed looked to be the makings of a major ordeal. I called several places including the car dealership and then I called Eastside. The price was more than fair and they pulled some strings to get my rear windshield glass in that day. I took my Toyota Highlander Limited in for a windshield replacement quote (non insurance) and after inspecting my car the woman in the front office said it would be about $350.00. My appointment was for this past Tuesday. When I came in to have it replaced, sure enough they said they ordered the wrong (for a less expensive Highlander model), so I made another appointment for today (Saturday), but did not ask for another quote (my mistake). After the windshield was replaced I received a bill for $831.26. My only concern is the Flat Rate for replacing the windshield was $110 and the flat rate for recalibration of all things on the windshield was $300 for a total labor charge of $410 although it took just one hour for the complete replacement. The team at Eastside were great from the initial phone call thru to the end when the work was finally completed. I had an attempted break in to my truck and the passenger window was badly damaged as well as the seal. I called three places - one never got back to me, the second wanted to charge me a higher rate (after already feeling violated from the vandalism) and further wouldn't do the work for a week and then Eastside said they could do it the same day and the price was great.
