Repair wasn't the fastest but all seems to be in order on that end. Picked up the vehicle and paid our repair bill in full. Main issue I have is the staff called me and my wife a week later accusing us of taking "money that belongs to us" in regards to a check that our insurance sent us for $419 and demanded we pay them immediately over the phone saying that this check was for the repair. I double checked my bank statements and check deposits from our insurance and the check they were referring to was sent to us to reimburse us for car seat replacement. This was paid out by our insurance long before we even brought the vehicle to Gerber for the appraisal and had nothing to do with them or their repair. They essentially tried to get us to send them money that had nothing to do with our insurance reimbursement or repair bill that for some reason they incorrectly feel entitled to. Beyond this, the employee Sokan (SP?) was super pushy about it and rude when I tried to ask a couple clarifying questions and told her I would need to double check before paying them. There are better options out there, if I hadn't stood my ground these people would have gladly scammed us out of an extra 419 dollars. Maybe it was an honest mistake on their part, but don't call us and leave super rude accusatory voicemails to pay you "your money" when you don't even have your facts correct. I had bodywork done with them, but within a few weeks of driving, the Toyota emblem ripped off. I requested a replacement, and they kept taking my information, claiming they had ordered it. I understand the Covid related supply chain delays that put the repairs off for 2+ weeks, I won't fault them for that. Where they did fall short was in the actual repair, after all those delays you'd think the trim install shoulda-woulda been flaw less,not sloppy, but the new part was scratched, small but noticeable and there were application stains on the trim, not a lot but again on a brand new car you want perfect not meh. No way they didn't see these issues, they just passed it onto us anyways. I've had body work done before, at Kirmacs in Bellevue and never had anything less than 5 star work done, so getting the car back with less than excellent work is regrettable at best. I guess I could give them 5 stars for regrettable, but not so much stars for the actual repair. The cabin also had mud in it, again not something I recall being there when we dropped it off. read more

I can't say enough great things about these folks! I have been here twice: The first time front driver side was hit by a deer, The second time was after a friend backed into my rear bumper and taillight. The staff is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. They do excellent work and if you have a question or concern, they address it promptly. They were utterly transparent about insurance claim status and how they were sourcing parts. I don't think this is very common in the auto collision industry these days. read more

a minute ago After talking to my insurance and making numerous phone calls I took my car in today for an estimate. I thought I had an appointment set up for 9.30 am, but turns out it was not the case. On top of this the next appointment the woman at the desk could give me was sometime in April... Uhm, no. By that time I need my car to be ready. The woman at the desk was either in a bad mood today or it might have been her regular mode of operation but I definitely was not pleased with the attitude. I'd rather take my business elsewhere. It's a shame because the shop might do a great job but the first contact/impression deterred me for sure. read more

Very surprised to see others rate this place as 5 stars, the service here is very lacking. I am writing this review after my second interaction with this place as I was willing to chalk the first one (where they helped themselves to the console of change and failed to follow protocol and take pictures of the console contents, that became my fault. Since this is a 'preferred partner' with my insurance I get the pleasure of interacting with them again. This time, scheduled an appt for an estimate, at that time they said they had spots and could get me in. I thought we were all set. During the estimate 'Joshua' failed to take a picture of the ODO, ( was standing right there when the estimate was done) then sends an email claiming his digital image was lost and we needed to provide, and did not schedule the appt to boot. The tone of the emails from this place are evident that customer service is not a priority. Is this an indication of how they would be AFTER the repairs if something were to be wrong (I did get the brush off from the theft)? I would recommend others take the time to evaluate other 'preferred partners' before taking your vehicle to this place. NOT having my vehicle repaired here and want to make sure others can go in with open eyes as to how much customers matter to this place. Not impressed. read more

I couldn't be happier with the job and customer service I received here. I had a less than satisfactory experience with my insurance company, who had my car towed and dropped off to Gerber without any info after sitting in storage for three days, but Gerber more than made up for the insurance company's mistakes. Nikki at the front desk was very friendly and helpful getting all the paperwork straight, and Josh did a great job fixing my car. He expedited my service since the insurance company took three days to deliver my car. They also email you updates each day. The front of my car looks brand new and they even cleaned the interior. This was formerly Gilman Autobody (which was also excellent) and a couple of the employees are still here. Just picked up my car from getting the front bumper replaced and it was excellent customer service from beginning to end. They set realistic expectations from the beginning by letting me know that they were short staffed due to the change in ownership so they wouldn't be able to get me in right away. Other placed I've tried promise you a date and the car always ends up in the shop longer. I also appreciated that they notified me of a safety issue that I was not aware of that the Gerber in Bellevue had not mentioned to me. The bonus was that they are open on Saturdays. read more

Appointment set up was a breeze and they sent emails with regular updates so I could plan on pick up. They coordinated rental car for me and it was an easy drop off.
