Tl;dr: Hire these guys. They are simply the best moving company in Seattle. Price, competency, personable, flexible. The best. The long story: Let me tell you, working with these guys was phenomenal. Not only were they responsive and professional, they went through HELL and shrugged it off like it was nothing. Leading up to the move, Kyle (the legend) was super communicative and worked with me on how to best get everything ready. He tolerated my inane questions happily and was super transparent on every aspect of the process. He explained the charges clearly, worked with me on expected arrival times, how long the job would take, everything. The day of the move, they were there and ready to go at the exact right time. They loaded up in record time and got to my destination with ZERO lallygagging. No bullshit about "oh traffic this" or "alternate route" that. Straight from point a to point b. When we got to the location, I was mortified when informed that the elevator was broken that day. Of course. I live on the third floor... Even though I had reassured them that there would be an elevator, I now had to break it to them that this was actually not the case. NO BIG DEAL, he says. These golden gods of Seattle moving glory lugged ALL my boxes and furniture up three flights of stairs without even a second thought. I didn't have to do a damn thing besides point to a spot and stand around being useless. Everything was in perfect condition upon arrival and we ended up coming in under the expected work time. The price was GREAT when compared to other local moving companies, and he didn't try to upsell me in a way that felt shitty. He just clearly laid out the optional add ons and insurance with no pressure to lock me into something I didn't need. I didn't catch the name of the other guy that was with him, but they were both absolute units, capable of heroic feats of moving greatness. We had a great experience with Easy Company for our move. I submitted a request through Yelp to obtain quotes from movers in our area and received responses from about 8 companies. It was difficult to choose one as their prices were similar and most had positive reviews. I decided to go with Easy Company as I just liked their response the best - it was the most professional and courteous. Upon researching the company, I also appreciated how the owner chose the name for their company to honor his grandfather who served in WWII. I liked that there was a personal story and family connection behind the company and decided to go with them. It was quick and easy to schedule a moving appointment via email with Kyle. I was flexible with dates so it wasn't a problem when they couldn't come on the first date I suggested. Kyle emailed me all of the necessary information and a quote. I appreciated the tips on how to make the move easier and faster, such as moving your TV on your own if you can. Moving day went smoothly. Elijah gave me a call when they were about 20 minutes away and they were right on time. We had a pretty simple move as we were just moving furniture (no boxes), and a lot of our things were just being moved down to our garage (to donate later), with the rest going to another home about 15 minutes away. Elijah was very easy to communicate with, friendly, and professional. Elijah, Da'ron, and Haku all did a great job with moving the furniture to our new home. They worked quickly while being careful with our belongings. They finished ahead of schedule in 4.5 hours. All in all, we would definitely recommend Easy Company Moving. We hired the easy company to help us move everything from a 3 bedroom house. They sent 4 guys and two large trucks. The whole team was amazing. They were wearing masks on arrival, introduced themselves, and asked for any info we were willing to share on items that required special handling, or if there was any requests we had as they moved everything. I was even more impressed when I saw how they worked as a team. They seemed to genuinely like working together and offered each other tips and help as needed to move our items safely and efficiently. They pointed out any issues they noticed with our furniture prior to moving the items. I am guessing this was partly to protect themselves from liability, but I thought it also showed they cared and were paying close attention to the sturdiness of our furniture and that they cared everything arrived safely at the new house. The were so fast at unloading I could barely keep with with directing them where to take things. They were happy to put items in the exact location I wanted them so I wouldn't have to move them again when they left (I wasn't quite that prepared with my plan for where things would go, so in general I just had them get the items to the correct room). We had them do disassembly and re-assembly of 2 bed frames; they used their own tools and did a great job. I couldn't recommend this company more; I was super impressed. read more

I used Easy Company to move my one bedroom from Capitol Hill to Downtown Seattle. Kyle was communicative and answered all of my questions leading up to the move. I couldn't have asked for a better team for the job. Brian and Josh arrived on time (actually a few mins early), and didn't miss a beat from the moment they started. They provided wardrobe boxes (at no additional charge) and quickly packed up all of the hanging items in my closet for me. They took exceptional care of my furniture and made sure to wrap the glass/mirrored items well to prevent any damaged. I was so impressed with how fast and efficient they worked, they are clearly both very experienced in what they do. The only unfortunate part of my move was not having access to the new buildings loading dock at the scheduled appointment time. There was a random vehicle blocking the alley entrance, but this was not the Easy Company's fault. They made the best out of a bad situation and were communicative with me throughout the delay and as soon as they got into the loading dock they moved so quickly to make up for it that they finished unloading within one hour. I chose Easy Company because I read reviews on yelp about how they made moving an amazing easy experience. I never thought I would agree, but they truly made moving a pleasant experience. 10/10 would recommend. read more

We needed to get furniture out of our house to storage and back again so that we could refinish our floors. Happened kind of quickly. I found Kyle and Easy Company here on Yelp, and thankfully they had an opening. I could not be happier - the communication prior to the 2 move days was the best I had seen with any mover. When most people tell you they will be there at 9 AM, that usually means closer to 10. Not Easy Company - they were on time so I wouldn't waste my time. It was a rainy, cold move day but the team mucked on through and got the job done so much faster than I anticipated. All throughout they were courteous, efficient and treated my stuff like they owned it. They helped me make better use of the storage facility by giving me some ideas on how to pack better. And when the bill came, every charge was explained. Transparent, that's a good thing. Because they are as good at what they do, the bill was less than I expected. All in all, Easy Company has a great team that is very good at their job, who let you know exactly what to expect (and when to expect it), and they do it at seriously affordable rates. We used these guys for a local move in Seattle this month. Kyle was awesome to work with. On the quote he gave me the most detailed estimate of any of the responses I received and one of the better prices as well. He was super responsive from the very beginning to the end of the move. They even researched our parking situation on both ends and figured that we could get away without buying any expensive parking permits. They showed up 5 minutes ahead of time on moving day with 4 people instead of 2 and charged us at the 2 person rate. They packed up our entire 3 bedroom house in a hour and were also able to haul away some junk to the dump for as well. The unloading end went just as fast. We accidentally left some cushions to a chair on their truck as we thought it was for another piece of furniture that was going to the dump. I got a hold of Kyle to make sure they didn't toss it and he threw it in his car. He made a drive that was out of his way to come drop off the cushions on the 4th of July. We couldn't be happier with their service, and it was easily the best moving experience we've had. read more

I was in the service and moved a lot. This was an office move to move 5 offices into storage nearby. Big heavy desks that had to be taken apart and hardware bagged and pieces documented that go together. Kyle booked the move and it was so easy and very little fuss or paperwork. The crew called with an ETA morning and were 15 min ahead of booked arrival time which was great. Luis was the lead with Alejandro, Kyle, and Johnny. All were professional, polite, and had excellent communication. Friendly and personable and got right to work. All young guys and able. I have had crews that needed to be in hospital and not able before. They were fast! Came in below time estimate and thus cost estimate but glad Kyle budgeted more. The crew communicated well between themselves, were clean, and solved whatever problems came. I would definitely hire again. What swayed me to Easy was Kyle's estimating was very detailed and I knew what to expect vs another bid that left too much room for interpretation and waffling. This mover was reco'd by my storage facility manager. read more

This is my first review on Yelp - if I could, I would give Easy Company 10 stars! I had been putting off moving my ex's furniture down to storage as I knew it would be incredibly difficult - I have a third floor condo with garage/storage on the first floor and no elevator. Luis and Johnny arrived on time - both were extremely professional, going above-and-beyond my initial request by making great suggestions and offering to do additional ad hoc mini-moves. They didn't even bat an eye when I fine-tuned my original storage plan! There were two extremely large pieces (leather sofa and a huge 1980s solid oak TV cabinet, that must weigh 300 - 400 lbs) - I had shared photos with Kyle, but the weight and size didn't translate well! Kyle and Alejandro arrived to assist with these pieces and actually got both out the front door (after removing it) and down the very narrow steps. I'm sure any other company would have said it couldn't be done. I cannot thank Easy Company enough for helping me create what is now a gorgeous living space! read more

Just moved from Duvall to Oak Harbor with the help of Easy Company, and we were impressed and thankful for their service and professionalism. The owner Kyle initially answered all of my myriad of questions (haven't moved in 22 years so a bit out of practice), and then on the day of, the two Easy Company trucks pulled up on time, and the four musketeers went to work. I can't say enough about our crew of Dan, Alejandro, Dontae and Elijah. They were positive, courteous, hard working and a downright pleasure to spend the day with (great senses of humor as well), loading up all our worldly belongings. They also worked well together, and I never heard a complaint even when we'd say "wait! I need that box left out of the truck" and they'd have to go retrieve it. They weren't done until our 2nd storage unit stop in Oak Harbor at 9pm that evening- an 11-hour full day- and then they had to drive back, so more like a 13-hour day for them. All of our stuff arrived safely. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. read more

They were kind and easy to communicate with and took covid precautions very seriously.  The whole team hustled on the move day, and did an excellent job - there was no damage to any of our items or the homes we moved to and from. Easy Company Movers are the best! We had the pleasure of moving with Easy Company Moving. These guys not only know what they are doing, but they also hustle to do all of it! We had 2 teams serve us, one to pack and one to move. They were both excellent! The packers, Gabe, Daron, and David found all the remaining stuff we needed packed and took care of it all. When we came back, everything was boxed and in neat piles. They had wrapped all of our furniture with the moving blankets and plastic wrap we purchased too. The movers, Logan, Dontae, and David hustled to wrap up any remaining furniture and moved everything with care into the truck and then into storage. Logan was amazing with the "Tetris" he played inside the truck and the storage unit. Dontae and David had hand trucks full of boxes and furniture. It was impressive to see their hustle and efficiency. We were impressed with their work. Easy Company Movers is the only company I want to rehire. read more

Easy Company was one of my best moving experiences. Kyle, the owner, responded quickly to my inquiry, and provided the most detailed breakdown of service and time I've ever seen! I went into my move with a perfect understanding of what would be involved and an almost spot on estimate of how much I would be spending. The crew arrived promptly and got to work immediately. All three of them worked fast but very thoroughly. I felt confident that all of my things were well packed, and well protected for my cross town move. Unpacking was just as professionally done. The guys were great at ensuring all my furniture was exactly where I wanted it, and they kept they're good humor and friendly manner the entire day. Was needing movers to help move some of of our bigger stuff and was looking around and came across Easy Company. I am so glad we hired them! Kyle was super responsive and outlined everything that they would be doing and charging for to a T! The guys were right on time and jumped right into moving our furniture on the truck. They were super efficient, professional and friendly and were able to answer every single question I had. The big thing we were worried about were navigating our giant couches through the narrow hallway to our new apartment; these guys did it with no problem! I recently hired Kyle and his crew to help us move from one 3-level town home to another. 3-level town home. Now, the multiple steps and tight corners would have been a challenge for even the best of moving crews, but Kyle and co. made it look so easy! They were extremely professional and polite, and Kyle even came to do a walk-through of our old place before giving us an estimate for the actual move date. Not only are they fun personalities to work with, but their attention to detail with your personal belongings is outstanding. In my experience, any company or individual's true nature comes out amidst conflict. A mistake I take ownership for in retrospect is not critically thinking about the tone of my email prior to sending it to Kyle. After having an honest conversation with him over the phone, however, we both came to a great compromise on a difficult situation. This team is fantastic at what they do. This was my first time using professional movers to both load and unload, so the only experience I can compare to is doing it myself. Using these guys was WAY better! Scheduling with Kyle was a breeze and there were no fine-print surprises. Dan and Da'ron, my day-of crew, were total pros. They had every form of equipment imaginable and were able to quickly make a coherent plan from the piles of chaos around my house. I knew my move was in good hands and I was able to relax and focus on other things while they worked. They were efficient while also making sure my stuff was being handled carefully.
