Visited their last month and had the original Easy street pizza loved it. Today ordered online for a small get together at my place. The website ordering site was easy and allowed me to place the order even before they opened. Asked for delivery and since it was my first on line order called when they opened to confirm. They got everything right on time and my choice of shredded beef and green peppers and a second pizza of ham and grilled chicken were delicious. The popcorn chicken was great loved the spicy touch on the sauce. The online ordering was a nice plus and enjoying great pizza at home with perfect timing on the delivery was priceless. read more

We just moved a few blocks from Easy Street and have been several times so far. Love the atmosphere and the beer garden. Food is why I took off 1 star. The loaded tots, cheese curds and wings are great. Sandwiches & pizza leave a little to be desired (dry & in desperate need of salt). This is my and my boyfriends new favorite neighborhood place. Their food is delicious! You get a free little basket of chips. We've had the burgers, juicy, buttery and just the right portion. Very tasty. Tots are perfect and don't taste like grease! The sangria is also so worth it! Wings are just so juicy, my favorite are the buffalo/hot ones. Pizza we've had the macaroni pizza and I was skeptical at first but wow was I amazed!! I recommend anyone to try it. Also the staff is so friendly!!!! Excellent meal, friendly and attentive staff and nice outdoor casual space. My hubby said it was top 5 in beef sandwiches he's ever had. The popcorn chicken and French fries were way above "pizza place" standards. We got the double crust w/veggies and I did like it but it was not fab. Ordered pick up and got a pizza with shredded beef and giardinaro--something different. Was told it would be done in 30 min...we got there in 20 and it was already done! It was really tasty, the beef seemed quality too. I can't comment to the dine in experience but what I noticed was that the place seemed new and clean, a sneak peek to the back beer garden looked super cute and chill, and the bartender was making friendly conversation with a family eating at the bar--all in all a friendly neighborhood vibe! The food is alwaya solid. They have great pizza and an amazing burger. They also have a good beer selection and nice outdoor space. It is family freimdly, however they need to install changing tables in thier restroom, especially seeing how many babies and toddlers are alwaya there. Both really good, even for my husband who is so picky about pizza. The decor is nice and the beer garden is awesome!! Super chill atmosphere and nicely appointed. But the best part of our experience was the service. The GM, Dan, welcomed us to the beer garden and actually sat down with us for a few when we asked for suggestions. Great guy! Our server, Kate, could not have been nicer with just the right amount of edge and sass. We totally enjoyed the evening and know that this will be a frequent stop for us! I am so happy that a new place opened in the neighborhood that represents the type of people that live there. Easy Street is a nice upgrade from the old K&H lounge and they offer a ton of options for Beer, Pizza and things to watch on the TV's. The staff is very friendly and the service was great. We had the Italian Beef Pizza and it was delish. I can't wait until their beer garden opens to try that out. I'm so happy this place is right down the street from me that I had to write my first Yelp review! If you like Pequods pan pizza you're gonna love easy street! In my opinion, easy street's sauce is much more tasty and has a hint of extra garlic that sets it over the top. Easy Street also uses just a little less dough than Pequods which is better because Pequods drys me out and fills me up. The crust is my favorite! It's why I get the pan pizza. Like Pequods, E.S. has that crispy burnt crust that I love. Portage Park now has a bad ass pizza joint to go along with its burger joint (belly burger) and taco joint (Cochinita Taco). I heard about this place from a couple co-workers and decided to give it a shot as it was only about 10 minutes from where I work. Nice-looking place and possibly newly re-modeled. First time I was here, I didn't have too big of an appetite and just got the beer-can chicken sandwich. That was absolutely amazing. Chicken was very soft, juicy, and packed with flavor. Impressive to say the least. Second time around I split a pan pizza with a buddy of mine, and yet again I was impressed. Something about their sauce is very unique and the crust is nice and crispy. This place is fantastic! Portage park has been in serious need of a restaurant like this. It's kid friendly and the food is amazing.

The food and service were great however there was a kids birthday party (or something I'm not sure what the event was) in the beer garden. The kids were screaming and running around the entire outside area. It was very disruptive, it felt like I was having dinner in the middle of a playground of caffeinated kids. If they had a birthday party booked, they should have maybe closed it off as a private event. I actually felt so bad for the staff, they stayed nice and professional even though I'm sure they were also annoyed at the 20+ unruly children running amok. Love this place!! Came in for the first time, I believe they only served pizza after a certain time at night. We asked for salads (best salad i ever had) and even though they were not serving them anymore our waitress asked the cook and they agreed to make our salads! Very pleased with the serivice. Went here for the first time last night, my parents live down the street on Addison and Central and its great to see places like this in the neighborhood! Our server was attentive and wanted to make sure everything was correct and was sweet. One of the owners/managers came by after each part of our meal was served to check in on us which was great. Only thing is that it was very warm...it was a hot summer night and I love the front windows but they need to balance that with air there was zero breeze. Food was yummy, got thick and thin crust pizzas, wings (so crunchy and yummy), cheesy garlic bread, and buffalo egg rolls. Drinks were yummy (moscow mules were great), sangria was too sweet but thats usually the case. Bartender Stephen made our drinks to PERFECTION and checked in on us also! Excited for the outdoor space to be available soon too. Area needed this and I'm glad its here-we will be back! PS forgot to mention, I am not old I promise but music was a LITTLE loud for it being like 630PM, I'd understand it more on a weekend later into the evening but that wasn't ideal timing for blaring music. Another area for improvement: purse/coat hooks. On high tops with stools with no backs its impossible to put your purse everywhere comfortable, that was a struggle for all the ladies last night and there is so much wall space directly next to the high top tables seems obvious to me... read more
