I'm writing this review months after the experience because I wanted to see whether the effects would resolve and unfortunately they haven't. When my puppy was around 4-5 months old, I brought her to the FiDi location for a nail trim. I explained that she was a puppy and I wanted to slowly get her accustomed to grooming and ease her into it. I explained she doesn't do well when wired and asked that she be allowed to play with the other puppies first so she could exhaust some energy. That request was dismissed by the groomer and he took her out of my hands and brought her far into the back grooming area, completely out of sight. He didn't respond to anything I said and the receptionist intervened explaining he'll try. When he took her back to the grooming room, I could not see her or communicate that I wanted the service to stop. While she was back there, I could hear her barking, and her cries were screeching. I assumed the groomer would stop if she was that distressed, but instead the nail trim proceeded. She was returned to me with a small scratch on her face, frantic and trying to hide. The actual groomer didn't even bother to discuss what happened. I was then told by the receptionist that she may be too "difficult to groom" and should probably only be groomed at home, which felt inappropriate given that the service had continued despite her visible distress. This experience was traumatic not only for my puppy, but for me as a new puppy owner. Watching a very young dog in clear distress, feeling unheard, and having no ability to intervene was extremely upsetting. What's important to note is that she is now regularly groomed elsewhere and does exceptionally well. At her current groomer, she is calm, cooperative, and often falls asleep on the table. She is clearly capable of being groomed gently and appropriately. However, since this experience, she continues to struggle specifically with having her paws touched, something she did not have an issue with beforehand. I'm sharing this not out of spite, but out of concern. If a puppy is this distressed, the service should stop , not be forced. I hope this feedback encourages better judgment and handling so other young dogs, and their owners, don't have to go through the same experience. read more

Easy Wag is my pup's favorite place! It's also her *trigger word*: If I say "Easy Wag," she goes crazy with excitement, waits at the front door and tugs me towards the daycare on every walk we take. Her reaction alone speaks volumes about how much she genuinely loves it there. I've looked into other dog daycares in the area and nowhere else compared. Many of them had a couple dogs just laying in the corner and an employee in the room sitting there petting one of them. Easy Wag was completely different: multiple dogs playing with each other, multiple staff members in the room actively engaging with the dogs, the dogs never look sad or bored like I noticed at the other daycares. I had also heard great things about Easy Wag from others in the area who bring their pups there, so it was an easy choice. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and always reachable. They've gone above and beyond to accommodate my erratic ER schedule. Whether it's a last-minute booking or a sudden change, they're just a quick text away and always so understanding. They're also great at providing me updates and cute pictures of my pup having a blast! (Attached) Their pick-up and drop-off service is also a game-changer for me--it's very affordable and has been an absolute lifesaver on days when I can't make it home to bring her in or pick her up. Easy Wag provides my high-energy pup with the socialization, stimulation, and love she needs while I'm away, and I couldn't be more grateful. Easywag is the greatest doggie daycare in NYC - I am so happy it is so close to my home. My little koko tries to take me there even on the days that she is not due to go!!! She loves it. A few times when i have arrived to pick her up and the staff havent seen me, I see them cuddling her - you cannot get a better endorsement than that. Truly all the staff are just beautiful - so kind and caring and treat her as if they were her own! I work nearby Easy Wag. I recently purchased a home on Long Island and live alone. When my plans A thru C for Ollie did not seem to line up I started looking outside the box. After I read all of the 5 star reviews I scheduled a tour of their facility. Ollie passed his temperament test and immediately started traveling into the city with me for daycare. They open early enough for me to drop him off and they are open late enough for me to work overtime. The staff! OMG the staff is amazing! The owner Richie, Kiana, J, Gabriel, Emily (who has been helping Ollie to eat his dinner regularly), Phil, and everyone else there treat Ollie as one of their own family. I hear it in their voices, I see it in how they interact with him, and most importantly I see it in my boy when he's interacting with them. He returns their love right back. Took my rescue golden doodle here. I bring up rescue because he can be very skittish and uptight around new places, dogs and people. I got the full grooming course and teeth brushing. Then he was boarded for the remainder of the day. They asked me if he could play with other dogs after the grooming, which I said "hey why not". When I went to pick him up I peeked in to see how he was behaving. There were about 20 dogs running around and having a great time. At this moment I had an existential crises. My childhood flashed before me and I remembered all the times I'd go to the park and play with my friends. We ran around and played games like chase, keep away, king of the hill, and hide and seek. That was fun. Gone are the days where your greatest worries are getting home too late after dark and getting scolded. Walking though the door tired and hungry and thinking, "I'm in trouble but man was that worth it". So, I stood outside looking in, frantic balls of giant smiles running and tumbling..I waited a few more minutes just so he could enjoy himself a little longer. Mashi is a 3yo mini aussie with tons of anxiety, but he absolutely LOVES it here. Dropping him off with Emily each morning is such a great start to our day :). I brought my 11 month old mini Goldendoodle, and my experience here has been so much better than at other day cares nearby specially Pup culture (Fidi). After having issues at Pup culture, we were so happy with the experience and care delivered at Easy Wag. My dog has normal amounts of separation anxiety as a puppy, and Easy Wag was very assuring in telling us that they would make him feel as comfortable as possible, which was the exact opposite reaction we got at pup culture. They did not even know our puppy's name or age after two straight days of leaving him in their care! The level of care and facilities and personal approach to the service is leagues above Pupculture. what can I possibly say about this place that would do it's kind, loving, compassionate owner ;Richie,wonderful & out of this world manager ; Kiana & amazing staff justice? One year ago I lost my Frosty after 15 years, the next day,as if sent my the Universe opens less than half a block from me, they immediately became a second home to my Cookie who was so so sad over the loss of his brother, everyday they would pick him up while I worked, drop him off 6 hours later, even helped me out every weekend . He was soon back to himself, happy & eating & playing again. 2 weeks ago , at 16, he suddenly collapsed, I had to go see patients at work as I had been off for 2 weeks, Owner & all staff ran over , on their own time ubered my baby to the vet & stayed with him until he went to be with his brother. that day was dark, crying at work as I could t leave to be with him but knowing he was surrounded by these fabulous beings that would t even let me pay them for their time nor Uber. love & obliges forever. read more
