RUN....dont walk to another facility. While I had heard from neighbors they don't seem to really care and there is a lack of interest on the staff's part I had not experienced that until today. Upon picking up our Golden Retriever, there were several other dogs in the lobby area. So when they arrived back with ours, I walked out the door to get out of the chaos. Once outside I realized it she looked totally different. With a look at her face and then realized she was about 10 pounds lighter than ours, I had the WRONG dog. I went back in and the staff person at the desk was almost belligerent about it. Her response was it must be the other Golden....I then said I want to see both. I wanted to verify I was not losing my mind. She informed me she could not do that. So I at this point I my temper was rising. I did harshly put the palm of my hand on the desk and said " then find someone that can. I want to speak with the manager". Being informed there wasn't one there, I said you need to make this right I am not happy. Begrudgingly she went to the back. I tried to wait patiently with someone else's dog while in the middle of an extremely heavily rancid urine stench. While waiting another patron walked in and I explained I had been given the wrong dog and she informed me her friend's dog obtain kennel cough last week. At this point I am now angry. Finally she nonchalantly walk back in with ours. Another staff person had walked in and I said I wanted to speak with the owner. She informed me she did not know who that was. They then called some woman named Diana, who when I asked what her position was she said "operations". She tried to act empathetic. I was informed she would come over immediately to see what was happening. I told her if I did not hear from here by the end of the evening I would go to social media so this catastrophe would not happen to someone else. What if they had given my dog to someone who was not paying attention and they went home. So now I have to search Manhattan for my dog???? I called the 57th street store trying to get the name of the owner. He didn't know. I googled it to find Abraham Mimi. I called the Soho location and asked for him. At least this person knew who he was, but, of course he was not available. Explaining I wanted to hear from my by the end of the day or I would be telling my story on social media she said she understood. Obviously I did not hear from anyone. All my neighbors had warned me not to go there and now I understand why. Anyone who wants more information please feel free to message me. read more

Our dog loves the people and time at pupculture so much that, when we try to pick him up to go home, he tries to back into daycare! We initially brought our 4-month-old German Shepherd puppy to this daycare for socialization. The first day, we called to check in, and they reported he had "he was doing great, but had a lot of energy," which is expected for a puppy. However, the following day, we received a call to pick him up because he was approaching other dogs to play. Isn't that typical puppy behavior? Upon picking him up, the staff admitted they lacked experience with German Shepherd puppies, leaving us perplexed. We subsequently switched to Biscuits and Bath in FiDi, where our puppy, now 7 months old, has thrived without any issues. They expertly handle his hyperactivity by placing him in a separate area until he calms down. I forgot to write this review originally but I received a christmas card from them and it made me laugh out loud. Any person who says they're better than B&B is hugely mistaken. read more

Don't work here. Such disceptive hiring. I was ghosted 2 other interviews. Manager told me to wait to for onboarding only to be ghosted 2 times. I never understood why until my 3rd interview. HR called me and I told her to stop wasting people's lives. I explained how I interviewed 2 other times and was told to wait for onboarding and was ghosted and didn't know why. The recruiter told me that the manager said I am not hired. Turns out manager claims to hire you but tells HR you are not hired. (HR claims now the manager/owner left the company) That's so wrong. Why not just say "we will contact you if interested." Manager misled all his applicants. His employees are the ones making the business succeed. The best of the best. My dog Ralph loves it here, and ao do I. The staff all know him once we walk in, even after just one visit. I'm now a member, and Ralph spends a few days per week at daycare. He's so happy to go, and gets so excited every time. He basically drags me to the door when he realizes we are close by. They send me photos and videos of him when I don't even ask for them, and they're always so responsive to emails (like freakishly fast and kind responses). Not a good experience here. Firstly, they do not offer video footage of their service like most day cares do and should. E.g. easy wag offers this service. The feedback about our puppy's behavior showed that they did not put in any effort in making him feel at home here. It became apparent that the staff did not even know the age or name of our dog, which would be important information in monitoring his behavior. We brought him in for two days straight, and the second day my husband was astonished to hear they did not even know basic details of a dog they spent time with. After two visits to pup culture we had no confidence that the staff were even putting any care or attention to our dogs' welfare. He came home extremely anxious and did not want to go back the second day. We have taken our dog to several other daycares and this is the only one we've had an unpleasant experience with. Our dog has normal amounts of separation anxiety, he is an incredibly friendly and happy dog overall. The feedback we received was that he was not enjoying himself and we will assess if this is the best fit for him. Did not offer what actions they can do to help him feel comfortable. Cold feedback. Fortunately we found another daycare that we feel offers adequate service and care. Please kindly ensure to match the service you offer your clients to your company's mission statement. My dog Courage loves this place! He regularly goes to daycare and boarding and practically drags me down the block to get to the door he's so excited to go in. All the girls at the front desk are so sweet and a pleasure to deal with. Whenever he comes with a medication or a specific need, they are very diligent in making sure he is well taken care of. Our favorite extra touch is the "pupdate" emails we get while he is in boarding complete with photos of him playing with other pups. Courage is high energy and they are very good about giving him some breaks from playing and making sure he isn't getting too wild with the other dogs and learning bad habits. They required vax info and did a thorough temperament assessment, and that kind of diligence made us feel very safe and secure dropping him off at a new place. They took great care of him. Our girl Juniper has been going to Pupculture every weekend for several months now and loves it so much that she'll pull to head there on our normal walks. The place is always clean, and the merchandise is well organized, especially with all the nosing by curious pups. The words awesome, wonderful, and loving don't even come close to describing the great staff at Pupculture. They fawn over Juniper as soon as she makes her grand entrance, and send us photos and videos. What can I say, except that we are SO LUCKY to have them take care of Juniper. The rates are reasonable and billing/payment has been a breeze. The only con is that she loves it so much that she goes in now without even looking back! Brodie is a regular daycare, grooming, and boarding pup at Pupculture. Since day 1 he's been treated like family by ALL the staff. I get anxious to leave Brodie anywhere but always feel 100% comfortable and worry-free when he's at Pupculture! They always accommodate special requests/instructions, keep records of things like eating and bathroom breaks, and provide any/all updates upon request. I also sometimes see videos of him playing on Instagram stories! Brodie pulls me towards Pupculture whenever we are close by and jumps of happiness when he sees all the staff he clearly loves. He always comes home happy and tired. I really like how the dogs are separated by size, since Brodie is tiny and doesn't love playing with big dogs. Pupculture DOES NOT jack up the price like other places for little things that are important to pet parents like email updates during boarding, pictures, relief walks, playing with staff, feeding (when you bring your own food), etc. These are all included. Brodie also gets the best haircuts (and blowouts!) here and the groomers follow all instructions perfectly. He is usually groomed by Maria when she is available. Amazing service, friendly staff, and such attention to the happiness of my furry friend. I took my Havanese there today for a full grooming. I was asked for the specifics of how I would like him cut, and they followed them to a T. They took some extra time with him to make sure he was comfortable (this is only his second grooming) and extra time with me to recommend tools for at home grooming.
