I originally found Easy Way on Yelp a couple years ago to treat and ant problem. This is the third year Ive used them. Ants were outside the perimeter of the house, inside the kitchen, near the garbage and cats food bowls. Easy way responded quickly, had an appointment scheduled for a couple days later. The tech showed up right on time. He was courteous and wore protective shoe coverings. They also asked for all the locations we had seen the ants and put a pet and child safe treatment in each location. They will schedule a follow up visit in a couple weeks to provide any additional treatment if needed and check on the ants again to make sure they didn't come back. Emil responded almost immediately to my request for a quote to remove a wasp nest that had been constructed without the necessary permits right out side my bedroom window. I was able to set up an appointment for a few days later all via the Yelp app. Stefan arrived on time and with a 15 minute heads up text which is always appreciated. He explained the process and got right to work. The nest and it's residents were removed within 20 minutes, and a dust applied to prevent the wasps from rebuilding. This group is very thorough and reliable. I had mice last summer and they did a 2 phase treatment that worked to get rid of the mice. Then a couple of days ago (8 months after the last treatment) I saw a mouse. I let them know and David recommended laying frest bait. The cost was $150. Alex, a very nice professional person came by and painstakingly looked at everything, sealing off holes and applying fresh bait. He was here for an hour which shows how thorough he was. As the weather starts to warm up and my wife and I in our new house the spiders and other creatures started coming out of the woodwork and we needed to take preemptive moves. We have a persistent drain fly problem in our condo every spring that plumbers haven't been able to solve for us, so this is the third year we've called Easy Way to rescue us. They are consistently thorough. I love that each treatment includes two visits (which seems like a great deal for $300) and that they treat the common areas of our building for no extra fee. This year, as usual, after the first treatment we have seen no flies. Bob was the staff member dispatched to us this year, and like his colleagues, he was super friendly. He did a couple of extra things this year (glue traps inside, poison bait outside) that haven't been part of the service in the past. Bonus: for indoor spaces, Easy Way uses eco-friendly products that are safe for pets, so we don't have to worry about our cats ingesting something that could hurt them. I'd give Bob and the company more than 5 stars if I could! We'll never call anyone else when we need pest control services. read more

I am a landlord in Chicago and have used Easy Way Pest for cockroaches and rodents in my building. They are always my first and only call. They deliver high quality service and their prices are fair. Their usual engagement goes like this: we discover the infestation, I call Easy Way, they come within 24 hours and treat the issue promising to come back in 6 weeks, usually the issue is resolved within a few days after the first treatment, then they come back and treat it again 6 weeks later to prevent any issues from happening again. Emil the owner is great to work with and I can tell is someone that invests in his employees, and uses the most modern treatments of preventing pests.... the last time he came, he had just returned from the International Pest Convention learning about different critters and ways to prevent them. Suddenly had a ton of small ants all over the kitchen! GAH! Called Emil and he was incredibly responsive. He came over a few days later as promised, was very friendly and personable, and quick with his work. He layed out some clear gel all over the kitchen walls where the corners met the countertops, as well as the perimeter of the home on the outside. Haven't seen an ant since! We have 2 dogs, so it was important to us to have a pet friendly service. I would recommend Emil, and it's also really nice to support small business. If you don't mind an injured pet or permanent scratches on your wood floor, go for these guys. One technician dragged an appliance away from the wall, but didn't lift it, so now my wood floor is scratched. I asked the technician to put traps where my cats couldn't access them, but didn't monitor them. A short time after they left, my cat was crying. She had a glue trap stuck to her paw, which was very painful to her to remove. On their return visit, I mentioned both issues to the technicians. They didn't think either was a big deal. read more

Now on my second visit by Emil of Easy Way Pest. What has been so nice about their service is that they say when they are going to show up, and they show up at that time. No 2 hour windows, its been exactly at the time of the appointment. I first selected for our Townhome community because Emil's response was one of the 5 first responses I got, but instead of a generic $ amount, he asked some questions so that the estimate was reasonable. I wasn't sure how some people were giving me quotes when they had no idea what the job entailed. That was just weird. Emil's questions were spot on, did a site visit, and was a reasonable cost.
