The original quote was honored, and there was no problem declining CDW as coverage is provided by my credit card. NO Hidden Fees. We were given a new car that got us safely to Mahajual in 6 hours. Returning the car was hassle-free, and we were quickly returned to the airport. For added convenience, there's a Pemex right next door. We found where to meet them without any problem. We were "jokingly" told we had to wait 5 Mexican minutes for the driver to show up. 40 minutes later he was there. The price was exactly what I saw online, no hidden fees. Perfect. The car, however, was not. It was an absolute beater. Scratches, dents, and missing parts all over. Then I'm told if scratches/dents happen I have to call it in. There would literally be no way for me to know because it was covered in them. The engine was loud but the car worked, so off we went. I wanted to plug in my phone to see the directions but there was no spot to plug in my phone and no display. Not a big deal, my husband was my copilot. Two days after arrival we took the car out exploring. All went well. The next day I had planned to go to a cenote with a friend but the car was dead. Called the number twice. No answer. Messaged in. 30 minutes later I get a call back. They would send someone from a satellite office and he should be there within 20 minutes. He tried charging the car, no luck. He gave me the car he had, which was much nicer. Off we went to the cenote! Three days later we were ready to head back to the airport and it had a flat. There was a screw in the tire. The resort filled it up and we were on our way. When we returned the car the lady told a guy to check the tires and specifically pointed to the one that had the screw, as if she already knew. I'm thinking it was there when the car was delivered to us. The whole thing just felt shady. Be cautious, this rental company is notorious for scamming customers. We rented a car for about a week at CUN airport. It's a red flag when the company's representatives aren't even allowed in the main area where other rental car representatives are located. We were told that a representative would be waiting for us with our name on a board, but it took half an hour for us to finally find them by sheer luck. An unmarked minivan took us to a remote lot that looked more like a car wash than a rental office. Finally, we got an agent to assist us with the paperwork. Unfortunately, she couldn't finish the process because she had to leave. We had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes for another representative to help finalize the rental. At the last minute, the agent changed the original car, which was a Nissan, to a Kia. We inspected the car, and the hubcap and rim on the front passenger side had a lot of scratches. The agent that did the initial walk around, marked on the inspection form indicating that the entire tire was scratched. Because we had purchased full insurance, the agent assured us that everything was fine. However, when we returned the vehicle, another agent inspected it and blamed me for the damage. I showed him the inspection sheet, which had all the markings that matched this vehicle. He claimed that the information on the top of the sheet referred to a different vehicle, so it was invalid. After arguing back and forth, he suggested that we take the shuttle van back to the airport and that there would be no additional charges. This is where I advise you to be cautious. If you allow them to charge anything on your card, make sure to block it afterward. This is a group of unethical individuals who don't care about consequences. I will never rent from them ever again. I was told that there would be no additional charges to my card, but as soon as we left, they went ahead and made additional charges. Fortunately, we live in the US, and our credit card doesn't hold us liable for fraudulent charges. Don't trust this unethical group with your credit cards. If you're considering renting a car, I strongly advise you to avoid this untrustworthy rental agencies, Easy Way Rent a car, this company is notorious for exploiting customers and taking advantage of them in every possible way. After the fact, it was obvious this is a pattern -- their Trustpilot reviews tell the same story. We provided our flight details and confirmed pickup time in advance, yet after landing we were left outside in extreme heat with no clear instructions and no one waiting for us. There was no sign, no uniform, and no identifiable staff. Customers are drawn in by online listings that don't reflect reality, then pressured into accepting inferior vehicles under chaotic conditions. This past time using EasyWay was a miserable experience! We had used them a few years before, but this last time we received a literal wreck (multiple dents, rusted-out door, loose fenders and no license plate as it was rusted beyond recognition). So, despite paying for an upgraded model, we received this beat-up tin can. When I showed them our reservation, they pointed to the line (or similar) so we ended up with the bottom line rental despite paying for an upgraded car and it was almost hilarious how beat up it was! It was late in the evening so we just acquiesced and accepted the car. NOTE: When we pulled up to our resort that evening - the security guards rushed over to double check we were actually guests due to our rather rough appearance in this car :-0 ****But the real big issue came when we returned the car, and somehow they had mixed up the paperwork and tried to say we had done all the damage to this ridiculous car. Thank heavens we had a copy of our paperwork showing all the damage documented when we picked it up together with photos and video!!! Ultimately, we got it worked out but it took 60 minutes of arguing in the front office and proving our innocence. Just had such a disappointing experience with Easyway. We returned car and they tried to charge us 60usd for a gas cap (actual cost 15) which was missing (highly suspicious the nearby station may have intentionally kept when they filled). They then identified a nick on the tyre (not significant damage) which they charged us for. The whole thing was done with intentional delay tactics, putting us under pressure for our flight. Apparently none of these defects were covered by our extremely expensive full insurance. A real shame as up until then, our experience had been really positive. The rental was even more expensive than other quotes I reviewed but I liked the idea of an all inclusive (full insurance coverage, $0 deductible) price with no upsell at the counter. After booking and providing flight information, I quickly received a call from a rep who confirmed everything and stated that a shuttle driver would be waiting outside the terminal holding a sign with my name on it. This sounded great! Well after arriving we searched for that person for over an hour. We called, emailed and texted the office multiple times. Nada. Me, my wife, and our 2 young children are now stranded at the Cancun airport with a ton of luggage and 1.5 hours away from our AirBnb at 7pm. We eventually paid a driver $300 (half the cost of the rental car!) to take us to our house. The following day I called Easyway again. They had no functioning cars to rent out so rather than notifying us of this they just left us completely out to dry. No apology, no solution, just "we no have any cars." One we waited anout 40 min at airport for easy way. No one was outside with out name like it claimed. 2 the guy Gabriel at front counter super cute he made it easier but took another 35- an hour to get car and when we left we had to wait for headlight to be fixed. Also when we returned the guy tried to say something about the mirror which we luckily took an in dearth video prior that showed it had already been there. I was offended as what if we didn't have the video ? The bald guy that picked us up reminded me of van diesal & besides all the tip me jokes was nice. Location was hard to find and our uber missed it, so had to go back. The car look like trash on the outside - the bumper was literally screwed on with screws from the outside, large dents and scratches, but inside was clean. The tire pressure was low which we brought to their attention, so they fixed it. Bluetooth didnt work. No hidden fees, easy transaction, staff was nice. Warning.... when navigating via your google maps app, if its dark out, there is no lights to help locate this place and the cancun infrastructure is so messed up with construction, you can easily miss the small entrance directly after san jorge casa de cambio, on the right. The funny thing is..they got a neon sign in the property that would be more beneficial outside at the entrance so you can find em better. But anyways, we rented the 12 seater van from here to accommodate our family trip, the van was not cosmetically great but mechanically worked out. Had to drop it off at 4a(they are open 24hrs)...got lost 3x trying to find this place thru gps and there was alot road construction to make it even more difficult. Easy Way is absolutely the WORST rental car experience of my life and their awful service nearly ruined my family's entire vacation to Cancun. To keep it short, my family (including my 7 year old son and 3 year old daughter) rented a van from Easy Way. On Day 3, we decided to take a short ride to Tulum.....which turned out to be a traumatic and horrible mistake. About an hour into the ride, the van's A/C system went out and began blowing only hot air. The temperature outside was over 100 degrees and it was even hotter inside the van by the time we got to the closest auto repair shop. When we contacted Easy Way, we were told "sorry, nobody is available to help" and that we "need to drive the car back". Stranded 1.5 hours away from Easy Way's office, we tried to take it back, nearly causing all of us to suffer from extreme dehydration and near heat stroke. Once we finally got to Easy Way, drenched in sweat and traumatized, there were no apologies offered, discounts given, or any semblance of decency from anyone. Instead, we were given an equally hobbled van and sent on our way, despite my husband telling the "inspector" about a flashing tire warning light on the dashboard. We were told "don't worry about it." HUGE MISTAKE. Approximately one mile from our hotel, we got a flat tire. When contacting Easy Way, we were again told "nobody can help" and that "tires are not covered under warranty". My husband was informed that he would need to change the tire to the spare HIMSELF (which in 100 degrees and with a crying 3 year old on hand, he did.) The next day, we spent HOURS getting the tire replaced at Costco, on our own dime. Again, no help from Easy Way. Do not be fooled and try and save a few dollars by avoiding the national companies, Easy Way will do NOTHING to help you in the event of an emergency with their vehicles and will only try and avoid any responsibility for any faults of their decrepit vehicles. I stressed a lot about picking a car rental company because all of the horror stories you read. I can only speak from the experience of not having any major car issues on our trip, so can't speak to how they handle that. We exited the Cancun airport and were not sure where to go. Turns out you have to go around the corner to the "Friends and Family" area and there was someone waiting with a sign with our name. We waited a bit and then got shuttled over to Easy Way. The car we got was covered in scratches and dents. Just take a video scanning the entire outside of the car and you will be fine. When we returned they asked us about one thing and we were able to show it on the video. Otherwise everyone was friendly, we paid what we expected to, and returning it was easy and we were shuttled back to the airport. I think their cars are old and have quirks. The quirk with ours was that the doors did not all lock or unlock on their own. We had to manually lock each door each time we got out. read more

Easy Way...left us scrambling the Hard Way. After reading online about everyone's bad experiences renting cars in Mexico, we really wanted to find a solid company to get a car from. Easy Way had mostly good reviews and seemed to be mentioned frequently on forums like Tripadvisor. Their website looked much better than others and they emphasized on good customer service and no hidden fees. Well, we were sold and booked a car. Fast forward to the day of our trip - literally on our way to Cancun, we had to call Easy Way about a potential change to our itinerary. However, during that call, we learned that our rental was actually subject to an extra ~$150 fee for being dropped off in a different city (fyi this was not the change we initially called for). Huh?! Yes, we already knew rental car agencies typically charge more for a different drop off location. However, when we booked online, their system specifically asks what is the pick-up and what is the drop-off city. Shouldn't it already factor that into the cost that's presented to the customer during booking? I tested another rental agency website and they factored in the extra drop off fee at time of online booking and gave the true cost upfront. That's how it should be done. Turns out Easy Way isn't 100% transparent on potential extra fees. Since we weren't expecting the cost of our rental to go up that much and also a little peeved at this unexpected extra charge, we went with another company. Luckily we found another firm upon our arrival into Cancun airport as we sweated on this last minute debacle. I think if we had done a standard rental (same place drop-off) this debacle would have never happened. Who knows - our experience with Easy Way could have been great. I chose Easy Way based on a few Reddit threads, and now wishing I would have done more research. They do not have a window at the airport, so if you have issues with your phone service like we did, good luck reaching them. Their shuttle was not located where they said they would be, and various airport staff said they are located with the rest of rental pickups, which was incorrect. We ended up having to take a overpriced shady cab to get to their location. We paid for full insurance, and were given a pretty beat up car that we noticed had the check engine light on upon pickup. We paid for full insurance coverage. At some point during our trip, someone must have bumped into the car when we were parked, causing a small dent. Neither me or my partner noticed this given the original condition of the car, but we were charged extra for the damages even though we had full coverage. This is the result of a small print section that specifies you must notify them immediately if the car has damages. I contested this technicality since we didn't notice the dent given the various scratches and dings that the car came with. At that point, the employee said they have my security deposit, and there was nothing I could do about it. While they have a decent overall score on Yelp, they have a ton of 1 star reviews. If you read any of them, you will see a lot of similar experiences. Cars in disrepair, poor communication, and dishonest practices related to damages. While a lot of people on Reddit talk up this company, very few people we spoke with at the airport had ever heard of this company. Avoid the headache and go with a bigger name that has a presence at the airport. read more

While advertised as virtually new, the car we actually got was falling apart and in no safe driving condition: steering pulled heavily to the right, brakes vibrated dangerously during braking, car squeaked everywhere, steering while was literally falling apart on your finger tips, infotainment did not work at all, wheel covers were tied with zip ties, rust/chips/bondo all over the car. I read reviews and chose this company. I purchased the full insurance ($800 for insurance alone) because it was my first time renting a car in Mexico and I was travelling with my one year old and 3 year old. Unfortunately I was not not diligent and was stressed upon arrival with two young kids after a long day of international travel that I neglected to photograph EVERYTHING upon picking up the car so they charged me $1300 for a dent in the roof at pick up. I felt so uncomfortable and they wouldn't let me leave so I had to pay it. Had I injured the car - I would have reported it as I knew I had the best coverage. This dent was not from me. Definitely one of the worst experiences of my life. Car rental ended up costing me $2500. I felt threatened and unsafe and all around scammed. Too bad. Otherwise had a nice time with my family in Mexico. Such a bummer ending. One of the 3 guys there was quite threatening (red shirt, salt and peppery hair, thin) and I'm not sure if it was because I was a woman trying to reason with him that I didn't do this and I had purchased the most expensive insurance or he was just very mad? The other two were ok and were less intense but I could tell there was not a chance they weren't taking my credit card. We call them to figure out what's going on and they claim they longer have any vehicle available. NOTHING. Why wouldn't you disclose this before hand? Why ask for my information and license number and confirm my reservation only for it to not be available. We ended up scrambling looking for a car and ultimately decided against it. The car rental industry uses Americans & Canadian's fear of the traffic & insurance coverage to stick it to the tourist upon the start of a vacation. Why? Because they can, most will bite the bullet, and pay since the alternatives once you are there, are limited! None of this is really new, it is part of international traveling & vacationing. Been there, done that! What is new is finding smaller non-corp operations like Easy Way (mom & pop biz I think, not sure) who are competing with corp giants, with extremely well-behaved & professional staff, great service, no hassle or fuss flexibility, equipment, and service! We heard the same car-insurance scams & disaster stories everyone shares. Here is my story :). We made a reservation for a mid-size SUV, arrived at the airport at 6.30 am, and called to be picked up. Nadir was the on-call agent. He answered & sent a driver! It took a bit, called back & he helped us locate where the driver was waiting! Got to their lot, definitely nothing big or fancy, the SUV was cleaned, gassed, and ready for its vacation ;). I saw a Jeep renegade being washed, and politely & pleasantly requested it. Nadir was surprised since it was a small-size SUV. He redid the paperwork & sent us on our way with utmost goodness & care. Their cars are older & their mechanic shop in the yard definitely showed how they're different than the big US corps, e.g., Hertz, Avis, etc., etc. Halfway through the trip, the Jeep warning lights appeared. Nothing major, but since we were actively celebrating my wife's 50th, I preferred to minimize all risks and maximize the fun! Called back, and this time Danielle answered. We went back to their car yard, returned the Jeep, picked up the original mid-size Mitsubishi SUV, cleaned, gassed, & ready to boogie again. I did make sure the gas was where it was supposed to be, bla, bla, bla. No fuss, perfect service, older cars BUT well maintained, and all was GREAT. I did prefer the older, a little bodily-dented car because fender-benders happen in any high traffic! It's the same here in San Diego :). Great service, good equipment, normal makes-sense prices, VERY courteous, polite, & professional staff, and I will use them again. When I treat others with care & respect, I receive the same back, tenfold! When I play, the arrogant, ignorant, demanding I am too-sexy-for-my-butt touristy card, well that works too, but not in the other direction! I got a bad feeling and checked their ratings...they were terrible!!! While we were there we saw 2 customers come back with problems with their car. I backed out and said no. Back to the airport! Then I found Easy Way and called them. They were amazing and sent a driver to pick us up. They helped us rent a compact car. They were helpful and straight forward. The price was exactly what they said it would be with no hidden fees. They gave me good advice. We rented our car for 7 days and had no problems. They give free rides to the airport, but in our case, we went to a resort after dropping the rental off. They arranged for a ride to the resort for a reasonable fee and the driver was awesome! The car wasn't super new, but it got us around in comfort and with ease so we could drive ourselves to Chichen Itza and Ek Balam. I would recommend this company to my own children! I am so happy we found Easyway rent a car. With most other rental companies having one star and terrible reviews I was apprehensive to rent a car in Cancun. Easyway booking was so easy and very responsive. There was a representative waiting outside of the airport for us and checking in and out was straightforward. There were no hidden fees as the end of the transaction and customer service was excellent. The only reason I took a star away was there was a pretty long wait time to get the car. But, driving is easy here and Easy Way lives up to their name. They picked us up right out of the airport. Finding them in the sea of other services picking people up is challenging. When you see the sea of drivers (literally a hundred or more of them) hang a sharp left outside the doors and you'll find the Easy Way guys). The took us on a short 5 minute drive to their lot. It's small. It's tucked away. But you will never find a nicer and more accommodating hunch f guys. One hint was the fact they had a nice little bar in the back of the office. Not for you or me. For them. "For breakfast" he said. Hilarious and awesome. But more to the point, their cars are new and nice. They are very helpful. And their prices are great. Skip the big corporate bullshit. You're on Yelp for gods sake. You want to shop local and experience the culture. This is a great place to get your car and they will take care of you too. The last time I visited Cancun was 5 years ago and I did use Easyway. I had a good experience with them which is why I returned. Unfortunately after this trip I regret to say I would not be using them again nor would I recommend them any more. Firstly when we arrived at the airport we were expecting to have someone waiting for us holding our names, at least that's what was communicated to me via email. We were waiting at the right spot for 30 minutes before anyone showed up to take us to their rental shop. It would have been faster if we had taken a taxi to them. This is a small shop and a small lot located 8 minutes away from the airport. Note: they do require a $1000 USD deposit on a credit card. We paid $135 total which included 5 days rental and basic coverage. There was no push to get more coverage which I appreciated. Also note, some Mastercard offers CDW coverage so don't pay extra for insurance! After signing papers we still had to wait a bit because it was in the car wash. Please do a thorough walk around the car and video record as well as take photos of any damages, even the slightest scratch. Because when you return the car they will also do a very thorough check of the car. That includes checking the spare tire. Even though they washed the car, there was a strong stench of body odor from the front driver's seat. It was embedded into the fabric seat. So disgusting! We didn't notice this until we were driving down the freeway. It lasted the entire 5 days we had the car! They could at least put a car freshener inside. The worse part of the rental is they gave us a 2019 car with a permit that was set to expire 2 days into our trip. It had no front or back license plate. We were staying in Playa del Carmen the first half of our trip and then Cancun the last half. They offered to meet us in PDC to exchange the permit but we told them we will return to them on our way back to Cancun. Unfortunately things happened and we could not make it to their shop early enough so we asked them to meet us at our Cancun hotel the next day. They said they could do it but wanted a tip! A tip?!! Are you kidding me? We declined and just left the car in our hotel the rest of the trip. They warned us we will be stopped by the police and they will ask us for money. It sounded like a scam to me. In fact when we returned the car at least 15 out of 20 cars in their lot had no license plates! Some of the cars at our hotel also had no plates, which leads me to think these are tourists with car rentals. You are an easy target for the police to stop you if you have no front or back plates. The whole time we were driving to return the rental I feared we would be stopped by the police. We even asked if they could leave the new permit with our hotel but they said they can't because they need to exchange the car. They changed their story! The funny thing is, they drove the same car to take us back to the airport with the same expired permit on the back windshield. Avoid Easyway car rental, it's not worth it. read more

I had such great experiences renting with this rental company in June 2020 and again in August 2020 that it's unfortunate that I had such a forgettable experience this time around in December. As soon as I arrived to the office to pick up the car, the man working at the desk was impatient, had a short temper and was unprofessional. I had never met this man the two times I rented before but another employee later told me that he's impatient with everyone. The car that was rented to me had dents and large scratches everywhere and the Bluetooth on the radio didn't work. It appears that they fixed the car stereo by putting a piece of plywood and spray painting it black and mounting a custom sound plate to make it fit into the center console of the car. One hubcap was missing. I figured that they rented out all the cars in good condition which I suppose is a good thing considering how desperately they needed business due to the pandemic. When I returned the car, I was told that a hubcap was missing and the rim was damaged (probably from driving through a big ditch). I used my Chase Sapphire Reserve card so I knew the repairs would be covered by my credit card. I began to take pictures of all the documents and the man who was rude to me at check-in was unfortunately taking care of me again. He constantly tried taking the documents away as I was taking pictures (I don't know why honestly). He told me that they couldn't send me an itemized receipt of the charges for the hubcap because the accountant was going to arrive two hours later. One week later after having sent several emails, they still haven't responded or sent me any itemized bill for my insurance claim. Still waiting. read more

Some positive but mostly bad experience with this rental company. There was a pretty long wait for them to pick us up, although the person to find after going outside was very easy to find and friendly. I had to go ask if they forgot about us since we waited so long. Once transported to office that is 5-8 min away, the staff was friendly and all seemed well. We got a different car then we chose online but within the same class of large SUV, so no problems. We received an Outlander that was older and had about 81+K miles on it. Worn but had great AC, radio, etc. All went well for the most part except when we went to get off the ferry to Cozumel it wouldn't start. Not good on a ferry where everyone is behind you. It started with a jump and we figured a light was left on. However, when we got back to drop off car, we had turned it off and they couldn't get it started again after only a few minutes off. They were going to drive us in the same car to airport since our bags were already loaded. So I think they had more issues with the car. Based on older fleet of cars and not many of them, I'm wondering if they will try to repair this or give it to the next suckers that come along. Worse part of experience was when we got billed by the credit card. They charged CC considerably more than my online reservation stated AND what they said they would charge on paperwork. They did this by choosing a very inflated exchange rate that they claim is on the wall of their office. Apparently it's on a clipboard in office that they sent me a picture of when I called. I said it's not legal to charge an inflated rate and also, it wasn't what amount I had agreed to on the contract that was listed in US dollars or online when I reserved. I asked if it was worth a bad review and they were very nasty and didn't seem to care. Maybe their business isn't doing well considering fleet age and deceiving up-charged rate exchanges. I had gotten the all coverage insurance, but there are a lot of things it doesn't cover that you have to sign to. Overall, not a great experience although for the most part the car got us safely from place to place with that one exception on the ferry. I'm not a difficult customer to deal with. I'm a nurse and try to be very sweet with people instead of nasty. I was surprised at how nasty they were when I called. We will not be renting from them again for future trips. read more

Awful customer service! Charged us for a "busted wheel" - on a car they they dropped off to us in Tulum given ours was not ready. We were given a Dodge minivan to take us to Tulum (while we waited for our Jeep to get ready - apparently it was late being checked back-in where) where the A/C did not even work. I specifically WhatsApp'd them while driving over to let them know. The car they dropped off was a Mitsubishi SUV (not the Jeep that we had booked). I inspected the car, and parked it in the parking lot. While parking I noticed "low tire pressure" - but did not take much notice as I figured the tire just needs air. The car was parked for a few days (as we walked post places), and when I did take it out the 3rd day, as I was about to drive off, the guard from the hotel noticed a flat and told me. Upon inspection I found a massive nail that had pierced the tire from both sides (this could not have happened on slow speeds!). I informed the Management office who then said it's my fault and that I need to pay for the tire. They quoted me a price of $120. I drove the car back to Cancun the next day and tried to make a case with the Manager, who then proceeded to tell me: (1) I ruined the tire because I drove it with a nail, (2) he did not believe the Dodge Caravan A/C was not working because if it indeed was not working, we would not have driven 2 hours without it. He refused to listen - he was rude, obnoxious and a made us feel extremely uncomfortable. I read reviews from yelp, Facebook, and Reddit. Only yelp gave bad reviews so I chose this company to rent a compact car with full insurance and it wasn't my 1st time driving in Mexico. Since this is the first trip I went to Cancun with a 1yr toddler, we rented the car in case we needed to buy baby products outside the all-inclusive hotel (Planet Hollywood), which we didn't, so the car was used only as a hotel transportation. From picking us up at the airport until checking and picking up the car, everything was okay (the radio didn't work when checking but we didn't use it). However, everything went downhill when we return the car. We got a flat tire right in front of the gas station next to their office (50m distance). So here is the bad stuff from our honest experience: 1.) Per other reviewers said, their cars are really old and so do their tires. We were so "lucky" to get a flat tire so we were kinda paying for their new tire. 2.) The office location is in an awkward position off the airport highway that you need a detour (45 minutes from office to hotel but 1:15 minutes from hotel to office) 3.) Add another 30minutes-1 hour on your airport arrival schedule because they need to check your car, might argue if there are some issues with the car, wait and ride their shuttle to the airport. 4.) It was drizzling when we head to the airport. They just threw our luggage after the shuttle transfer to the airport and left right away, so expect zero help if you have some piece of luggage for the baggage check-in. 5.) When we argued with them about the tire, they play the "bait and switch" strategy because they know we were in rush for a flight back. I had the option to rent Hertz with Chase points but I stupidly tried out this company because of the local Mexican gave good feedback on Reddit. Just stay with a big company. The "Full" insurance will not cover anyone killed (death) as an result of an accident (SAI/SLI), meaning you only have partial liability. That option was not offered on the website. As an alternative one may purchase Mexican car rental insurance before leaving (link below), and then you only have one transaction to negotiate on :) Also, they switched out the car for one that was approximately $5,000 (usd) cheaper, and it did NOT have functional Airbags. Think about crash test ratings. Other than those two things, everything else was smooth. Once outside, you need to meet them beyond the gate, in the arrival / departure section. I highly recommend this place! They're easy to rent with and their prices are reasonable. I love that they're close by the Cancun airport and offer to pick you when you arrive and take you back when you leave. I rented a car from them for Tulum last weekend- I had a bad experience renting from the airport the first time I went so I was skeptical-I am so glad I found them! They don't charge you the 19% airport rental fee and that alone saves you a lot of money. The car was in very good condition and it was very economical.
