I have had two other locksmiths look at my broken locks and handles on my sliding French doors. These doors are old. One told me I had to replace both the doors which comes with locks and another told me he could possibly find the handles but it would costs me as much as replacing the doors. I put the job on hold. What a relief for me when I stumbled upon Dave from Easykeys Locksmith. I read his reviews and was impressed and thought I would give him a shot. Well, I am glad I did because this guys is so efficient and resourceful, he somehow traced this old old (might even be 40 years old) door handles down with the locks, ordered them for me and replaced them for me as soon as they came in. This was the second time I locked myself out of my place - DOH! Yelped locksmiths nearby and gave Dave a call - He came over w/the quickness! Although it did take a while to unlock my door (the last locksmith had the same problem), Dave had to replace a part bc he had to drill through it. Dave said he would have to order the part and it would probably come in 2-3 weeks (no biggie - my deadbolt was still okay so I was able to still lock my door). Dave even asked to contact the owner of my condo to fill her in on the situation as well. Dave was really good at keeping me updated w/the order of this part and called every week just to make sure he did not forget about me. I would highly recommend Dave! I grabbed the wrong key and didn't notice until the door was closed. Great! Tried to break in (unsuccessfully), ended up calling Easykeys Locksmith and they quoted me $50 which I think is a great price for a Saturday. Dave showed up approximately 30 minutes later. He was very nice and successfully picked our lock within 2 minutes. We also got a free lesson on locks and learned why we were not successful breaking in with a credit card. I have used this mobile locksmith service twice, and both times he headed to where I was, was timely, and did his work quick. I needed him to program the chip in my spare car keys. Cheep, Fast and Effective! He was the lease expensive of all the places I called to get a padlock drilled. $50 cash or $60 on card... and that was the total price. Most places just wanted that to come out just to take a look at it. He was quick to get it fixed and was very personable. read more

I have to admit... Locking yourself out of your room/home sucks. However, this was by far the best choice I could've made for a locksmith. I phoned a number of companies (prior to reaching this one) that tried to charge me way more than what this company was charging me for the same service. After trying to get in or think of friends who may have keys, we finally resorted to calling a locksmith. The company agent answered the phone and took down my info. It was around 1:30am when I called him. About a half hour later he arrived, ready to get down to business. It took about ten minutes for him to pick the lock. We were pretty impressed. This service was expensive, mostly due to the fact that it was 2 in the morning. But we were so grateful to finally get in that it was well worth it. Called Don to get a quote on replacing a car ignition key and left a message. Don called me back and right off the bat I couldn't have spoken with a friendlier guy. He told me he doesn't do cars and referred me to Weston and Ben at Dup-A-Key, who were awesome. My car has been stranded down at Windan' for 2 days while I've been trying to find my lost keys, as if that isn't enough stress. I had a bad lock at public storage and they referred me to Easykeys to remove the lock for the warranty claim. I called them and they said they would be there in 20-30 minutes. That sounded a little too good to be true but he showed up in 30 minutes. His name was Dave and he did a great job. The lock was really messed up, not just a broken key or something like that. My experience with Easykeys was FAR from easy. Like the other reviews, I also had Dave come and help me out when I lost my keys and needed completely new ones ($125), the only problem was it took HOURS until they got here, not 20-30 minutes like other people say. It also took Dave an extra long time because he lost a part to the lock on my door, so he had to replace it with a dummy piece until he ordered a new one. He said not to worry because "If someone wanted to break in, they'd just break the window". Seriously? Two weeks later I called to see if the piece came in and it did, so I set up an appointment for 3pm the following day. So the next day it turns 6pm with no call or any word from them, I called them to see what happened and they said they were too busy to do it the day they scheduled it! When you make an appointment, you'd think to AT LEAST expect a call saying they couldn't make it, but no. Came the day after to put in the replacement piece. Lazy customer service, the only bright side is that at least the job he came to do was done after two weeks and I have new keys. read more

My front door deadbolt went dead. Dave gave me an accurate diagnosis over the phone, responded quickly, and repaired the lock in about 20 minutes. He did not stick me for a new lock, which he very well could have done. He also cut some extra keys, at a very fair price, to replace the ones cut at Home Cheapo that had never worked.
