    Bao buns

Sat at the bar. Bartenders were lovely and helpful. Great ambiance. Got the Kostas and the Bao buns. Bao buns were fantastic! The Kostas was very good--the lemon potatoes really shined. However, I wish there had been more steak based on the price ($45). It came with two fairly hearty skewers. Cocktails were solid. Got the Number Four on their manhattans list and it was good--very strong though.

Oh my goodness, we had the best experience here; the food, the service, the friendliness & the atmosphere!! What a perfectly amazing little hidden gem!! I did not expect to find this good of food in New Castle!! I figured it was a smaller town and the food would be average. Boy was I wrong!! We had our anniversary dinner here and it truly could not have been more perfect!!! In fact we loved it so much we're going to eat here once more before we leave! My hubby had the Kosta and I had the Phad Thai, both were amazing!! For a drink we had the Mare's margarita and it was yummy!! We also had the bacon and eggs appetizer which was excellent and for dessert we had some type of peanut parfait that was to die for!!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Now for goodness sakes go make a reservation and enjoy this delicious little GEM!!!

The best restaurant in the Roaring Fork Valley. Some of the most unique food options I've had in the area. We love the ahi tuna appetizer, the burrata, smoked salmon deviled eggs, arancini, and Philly cheese potstickers and those are just the appetizers! The cocktails are amazing - cant go wrong with any of them. Our favorites right now are the Rizzo and Cosmo Kramer. The atmosphere is so lovely and the service is always great! We love this place!

If there were more than 5 stars this place would set the bar. Eat here now. Impeccable service, perfect ambiance, delicious food. I mean delicious. Creative, beautiful presentation. Fabulous.

Eat is a small dinner-only (and drinks, of course) restaurant. It has kind of a dark, jazzy feel. I'd say "speakeasy"...but it's not "that" dark, and it's certainly not smokey or stinky. ;) I counted ten tables, including the two outside on the very small patio. You can see and hear most of the kitchen from anywhere in the restaurant, but they do a good job of a) not yelling in the kitchen and b) playing music and a reasonable enough volume to drown it out. There's not really an official looking "waiting" area or "hostess" stand because it's so small, but they do the best they can with what they have. I would say that this restaurant is geared more towards adult couples out for a drink, but we had a "well-behaved" (as much as she can be) 3 year old with us, and they were super nice to her. They do have a small kids menu as well. We went on a Saturday night. We were able to get a table immediately, but they went on a wait (I'm guessing about 20-30 minutes) right after we got there. It was homecoming night though, so I'm not sure if it's always that busy or if this was something unique. The service was very attentive - our glasses were never empty, and we always had bread at the table while we were waiting. I felt like they maybe had too many servers on the floor, but this is only their second week open so they might still be feeling out business. Our food took about half an hour to get to the table. We arrived almost right when the restaurant opened, along with 7 other tables, and I think it was just a little slow getting out. The next time we go, I'd like to try going a little later (maybe 6:30 or 7?) to avoid the first rush. OMG, the food was worth the wait! We both got the cheesesteak, and it was delicious! Missing the peppers...but I usually order it without anyway so yay for that. Choice of coleslaw or salad as a side, and both were great. My kiddo got the kids cheeseburger, which was....pricey. It was literally just a cheeseburger on a plate for $10. Not the best tasting or the worst tasting burger I've ever had....but I was surprised at the price. I wish more restaurants offered plates for young kids to pick off of....all they need is a little plate of grapes, cheese, crackers, and oranges or something (and then just charge me like $3 so we're all happy). Anyway. Highly recommended!

Could not recommend more. The food was unique and delicious. The staff was very helpful, welcoming, and friendly. Overall a wonderful experience. We will definitely go back next time we are in the area.

I'm leaving yet another... 5 star review for The Pullman because every year I come dine at this…read morerestaurant I am blown away. First off, the most notable thing about this experience was the genuinely most amazing waitress I think I have ever encountered, Grace. Grace was the kindest soul, she took such amazing care of us and went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Me and my family will go out to eat now and say "she was good but not as good as Grace". Second off, The food was AMAZING per usual. I had the Wagyu steak and it was cooked perfectly, I usually hate going out for steak because I find it to never be seasoned as much as I'd like but this took the cake. The blue cheese dip with chips was so delicious, like possibly one of the best things we have ever tasted. We also tried to carrot cake sorbet which I know sounds odd but it was so delicious, you can tell the kitchen staff puts their heart and soul into this food. My husband got the special, which was like a Turkish ricotta stuffed pasta and it was AMAZING. Even my sister who got the wagyu burger, AMAZING. My only critique was the hostess was very rude to my family for no reason when we walked in which almost turned my parents off from trying to the most amazing restaurant. Luckily, the service got amazing after that. Everyone was so kind and helping everyone, just a great atmosphere. They also had the Knicks game playing which was great haha. I can't wait to come back next summer for my favorite meal despite living states away we will always make it back to The Pullman.

I started with the pickled deviled eggs - little vinegar taste with a slightly sweet filling is a perfect combination. 10/10 The Steak Tartare is unlike any tartare I've ever had before. It comes on this homemade tater-tot that's shaped kind of like a piece of bread or a cracker. I wasn't expecting it, but it made the dish. There is some sort of sauce drizzled, which tastes like an egg yolk base. I scraped it with my fork so I could eat all of it! So delicious! Finished with the Pierogies. Handmade, thin wrappers with perfect, delicious filling. It comes in a bowl with an amazing sauce I couldn't get enough of. I literally used a spoon to drink it! If you're in town, get a reservation - they are very busy!!! It's worth it!

The Dogwood is a cocktail cabin that is located in the heart of downtown Crested Butte. They keep the lights dimmed and have a fun music playlist that creates a nice relaxed atmosphere. The floor creaks as you walk through the cabin and they have cool chandeliers. We were initially told it would be a long wait, but somehow they found a table rather quickly for us. It was cold out, so we appreciated it. The Dogwood has a nice variety of artisanal cocktails on their menu. Our server was very helpful with giving us some options. I didn't have my readers on me and had a hard time reading the menu. So her describing some of the cocktails to me was very helpful. Dogwood has a number of classic drinks, margaritas and martinis. Some of the fun names that I saw were Thor's Hammer, D Cup, Porch Song, Mr. Pink and Beetnik. I ordered the Headhunter and enjoyed my drink. For food, Dogwood has charcuterie-style bites and other light snacks. This was a great find and a nice way to cap off our fun trip to Crested Butte.

The drinks are pricey, but you're really paying for the ambience and care that they put into making each drink. The menus has plenty of options, but you can also order your favorite with your choice of spirits. I opted for a whiskey sour with my beloved Suntory Toki and it was dang good! I initially ordered Suntory Hibiki (a more expensive version of Suntory's whiskey), but I loved that our waitress made sure I saw the price listed for that whiskey was "per ounce"... so my cocktail would have been $50! I very much appreciated that she pointed that out instead of just putting in my order and then me being surprised by the cost! Not a ton of food options, yet they do offer charcuterie plates with your choice of cheeses and meats. We don't go that route, but cocktails and charcuterie would be great for a date night! Beginning with the greeting, they were absolutely lovely, very polite, sat us right away, we went on a non busy day so we had pretty much the second floor to ourselves. The host was lovely and then our waitress came and was just as nice, a great way to start a meal. We ended up getting the buffalo wings, SO GOOD, crunchy, lathered in sauce, tender enough, so flavorful, with a side of ranch. We had the onion rings, and let me tell you, those were BIG rings ! Again, nice and crunchy and so enjoyable. Last but not least, we had the loaded nachos and WOAH! Let me tell ya, this dish can feed up to 4+ people! It was only 2 of us and we were in shock at how big these nachos were so keep that in mind! They had beef, pico de gallo, salsa, cheese and they used different chips too, the regular and the blue tortilla chips, omg MOUTH WATERING! Full of flavor, very well made, everything about them was great! To drink we only had club sodas with lime but they do have a full bar and by the looks of it, they had it all so if Youre a drinker, this is also the place for you! The place was chill, dimmed lights, nice music not overly loud so you can still carry on a conversation , and very clean which is always on top of my list.
