They give you the option of having the gyro meat placed in a tortilla (no cost), wrap, or pita bread. I chose the pita bread which is a $2.00 upcharge. The platter also comes with a soft drink. Everything was packed neatly in a cardboard box. They also included an extra cup of pickles, Tzatziki sauce, and an orange sauce which tasted kind of like a chipotle ketchup. The sandwich is a little messy, and it might be better to eat wrapped in the foil than to take it out of the foil. The pita bread was very soft and the sandwich was loaded with gyro meat. I really liked the gyro sandwich! It was flavorful and filling. The fries were seasoned well and were good. I didn't care for the orange sauce. It's a bit spicy and I'm not a huge fan of chipotle. It is a nice addition though that I am sure many would enjoy! Food was very good quality, decent sized portions, and a great value. I highly recommend.

It was quite tasty. At first I thought the arugula that was on top should have been dressed w/ a little olive oil at least, but the more I ate of it, the more I didn't mind it. It wasn't your average store arugula & it did give a nice contrast to the fatty meat & creamy Labne. The Ishta w/ Honey arrived a bit melted & the honey had ran off a bit as well. The Friday Special, Lamb Mencef was delicious and could easily feed a family of four, with several sides also. Basically it is large pieces of Lamb and lots of yellow rice, and a wonderful sauce, so you need to order (or make) side dishes too. We both are in our late 70's and no longer have large appetites, so this dish lasted through several meals. We both are from the Midwest and lamb is rarely on menus here in America, and the lamb on this dish is about as good as it gets. Very mild and not dried out. Thanks for the recommendation, Summer!
