Altogether everything photographed with tax and tip was a $50 meal and it was not worth it.

Located inside Väsen, the food operation has a cool food truck-style pickup window at the back of the brewery when your pager goes off (order at the bar). It's casual, efficient, and adds to the fun atmosphere. Most importantly, the food was absolutely exceptional. Every dish we tried delivered huge flavor and was packed with personality. This is the kind of food that makes you stop mid-conversation and comment on how good it is. The bar service was equally impressive. We placed our order through the bartender, and despite it being a Tuesday evening, there was plenty of staff on hand. Multiple team members checked on us throughout our visit, and every interaction was friendly, welcoming, and genuine. What really stood out was the sense of community. Although it's a relatively new addition to the Forest Hill area, it's already clear that locals have embraced it. They even have branded merchandise and cycling gloves for sale, and during our visit we watched several cyclists roll up, hop off their road bikes, and come inside still wearing their cycling gear. It felt like a true neighborhood gathering spot. Places like this give a neighborhood character, and Kobop Korean feels like something special. As far as ambience- Margie's Crabs is located at a gas station on the corner of Azalea Avenue in Chamberlayne Avenue, it's not a restaurant. It's a small trailer that you see in the photo, but don't let that throw you off the crabs are fresh & delicious. Hence, my 3rd visit. It was extremely hard and cold (not pie texture), the peanut butter wasn't creamy at all, and it honestly tasted more like a protein bar loaded with sugar. The crust also tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for a while--disappointing. Overall, we still enjoyed our visit and many of the dishes were great, but the dessert experience could definitely be improved.

My fiancé and I live nearby and love coming here for a unique grilled cheese. They have everything from a classic sandwich to a decadent magical sandwich. The sandwiches here are made with love. I adore the woman who we usually run into when we come. She usually is the one who makes our sandwiches and I love how she writes something sweet on the box. These are delicious and big sandwiches. I always leave feeling full and sometimes even have leftovers. I love that the sandwiches come with a mini tomato basil soup for dipping. I highly recommend getting a sandwich with the focaccia, it's beyond delicious. My recent favorite is the Duval Sisters with plant based cheese and rosemary focaccia. Billie's Holiday is another favorite. It is more of a takeout vibe, but they do have two tables outside in front with four chairs if you want to eat there. You're also not too far from Clay Park or a picnic bench parklet in front of Art 180 (about 8 minute walk away). This local gem has soups, breakfast biscuits, grilled cheeses, plant-based options, dessert, and more. I highly recommend getting a sandwich from here ASAP.
