At some establishments, to-go orders may not receive the same care and attention as dine-in orders, but that is certainly not the case at Easy Tiger. Every order is beautifully arranged in the box and, when needed, items are even redone to ensure everything looks just right. Questions are answered with genuine kindness, and samples are generously offered. Most importantly, Easy Tiger is a giving company that cares about members of the community who are experiencing difficult times. Their generosity and compassion truly make a difference. Plenty of parking (albeit very narrow) in the lot. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I've been to Easy Tiger a couple of times and now just getting to review it. This spot is easily a good failsafe bet in having a good time and connecting. Very central in Austin and right off of I35. I'm always intrigued by the Texas reuben and almost always get that. The wife got the smoked turkey sandwich w/ avocado. Both are great to be honest and you can see the fresh sourdough bread they make in house for the sandwiches. THE FINAL BAMBOO: The cost for two items was around $50. Ol reliable when it comes to a place that you want to chillax with the kids/friends and have some great sandwiches.

Not soggy like some burgers get when you're eating on the go. The beef? Oh my God -- seasoned and cooked just right. Juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were fresh and crisp, and the bun held everything together without turning into a mushy mess. And those fries? Seasoned to perfection and still crispy when I got back to work. If you're in the area and craving a solid, satisfying meal, definitely give Chili's on I-35 (East Side) a try. You won't be disappointed!

She had the baby back ribs, a favorite of hers, and said they were wonderful, as was her loaded Mac and cheese. I went for the 5-piece Chicken "Crispers" and was served a huge pile of fresh crispy fried chicken. The fries were also very good and well-seasoned. I'm not a fan of Mac and cheese, so I substituted broccoli and got a generous serving of perfectly steamed florets. The sides were so good that I ended up taking more than half of the chicken home. Some tenders don't hold up too well when they're not fresh and hot, but these were delicious later that day--and even cold the next morning. Service was great and attentive. Payment got confusing. We made partial payment with a gift card, but the bill still seemed high to me. I looked at the receipt later, and it looked like a 25% tip was automatically added. I'm not sure on that--maybe my friend is just a generous tipper. I mention it mostly to note that some restaurants seem to be getting pushier on tipping policies.

Had not been to this restaurant in a good while, and was a last minute decision. Good choice. The whipped feta is always a treat -- light and creamy with a solid feta taste, but not overpowering, served with a few orange slices and thinly sliced almonds, and pita. Special dish! Beet salad excellent, but the Fresno peppers had way too much heat, so pushed them to side. My wife had the Moroccan curry, which had a very spot on Moroccan flavor (been there 3x), and was a large, filling portion so brought home leftovers. I had the grilled pork chop which was large, perfectly grill with a tasty bourbon-based glaze, served with a large roasted garlic clove. Wonderful dish. My wife had a white wine that she enjoyed and my martini, slightly dirty with olives (to start) was a large pour and very smooth. Enjoyable meal in a nice setting once again ...

This place is so intoxicating from the aqua blue color palate and funky green art work to the alluring lighting and huge metal plate (looks like something from a ship...also their logo). My brother said the green artwork looked like broccoli. My brother ordered the Idaho trout with coconut rice and Brussel sprouts. I sampled his food and it was all good. The standout was the Brussel sprouts...crispy with this absolutely delicious drizzle. I ordered the Mezze plate with a flavor explosion and many desirable texture. It had lamb kabobs, fresh salad (emphasis on fresh) with thinly sliced cucumbers, finely sliced onions and creamy feta (never had creamy feta), red round sweet peppers, hummus with the most delightful pesto like sauce, and olives. Oh my...what a delicious lunch! Morgan, our server, was attentive and accomodating. She moved us to another table when we notice our table was rocking a little. Great catching up with my brother and excellent meal!

OK, we'll start with the obvious - it's a hotel bar/restaurant. That tends to lower the bar a bit…read moreon standards, often, but it still keeps this at a 3 star review, no more. The bar is appointed well enough, and while the bartenders are a bit sloppy in their mixology and prep (rim salter filled while still wet = clumpy salt; juices everywhere), they were friendly enough and got the orders right. The food was promptly served. I ordered chips and salsa as an appetizer (the only thing I thought would be a small enough quantity and cheap at $5). I also ordered the chimichurri steak tacos. You get three of those in the typical three slot holder, decent portions. The chips were good. The salsa looks like it was heavy on tomatillos instead of tomatoes, but had good flavor and acceptable spice. The tacos. They were flavorful. But the flavors were overpowered by the quantity of SALT. I could hear Gordon Ramsay in my head shouting "This is so salty it would kill a horse!". I LOVE salty savory things, but it pushed my limits - yes I ate them anyway, in part because I was hungry and tired. I think part of the problem was they used a dusting of parmesan to add a touch to the presentation, and it did elevate the tacos, but when you prep a dish like this you have to remember that salt is additive. The steak strips are salted. The chimichurri has salt. Parmesan is one of the saltier cheeses. Accidentally over-salt the steaks and you're quickly in trouble. Oh, the atmosphere? An industrial hipster bar wanna-be in a hotel lobby. OK as far as hotel bars, but not one I'd go out of my way to visit.

Some friends took us here for a birthday celebration, taking a chance because they'd never been…read morethere either. What a find! Rosé Gosé (note accents) is in an unassuming Airport Blvd location (right next to Jewboy Burgers, an Austin favorite). It is run by a couple from Belarus that came here right after Covid to open up a restaurant, with a sister in Minsk. Defying expectations, the menu is not Balkan at all. If anything, there is a strong Asian influence with poke bowls and a lot of seafood. But the menu also offers beef tartare on their raw bar menu, as well as a steak offering and grilled chicken. It's a diverse and adventurous menu, all the way from small plates to hefty mains and vegetable sides. For the dessert, try the pavlova, a meringue confection stuffed with coconut mousse and topped with lime sorbet and a grapefruit slice sidecar. Everything is superbly presented, and unquestionably fresh and healthy without veering into twigs and berries territory. The cocktail menu is also playful, with a lot of nontraditional glassware and slight spins on popular drinks; their version of a Paloma uses prosecco instead of a splash of soda. The servers are all dressed in rosé jumpsuits and very attentive. The space is amiable and elegant without being pretentious. The table spacing is a little close, so that conversations carry between guests. The table setting has some nice touches, like the little wooden bench that holds your fork and knife off the table. In European fashion, water can be asked for but it won't be served with ice. Plan on taking your time and enjoying course after course.

Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.
