    QUESO BIRRIA COMBO
    Kathy N.

10/10 would recommend this place! As soon as my friends and I walked in, we were greeted and seated by Lino. I ordered the queso birria combo with a horchata and being from California this was the best queso birria I've ever had in my life. I loved that the shell was crunchy and not too soggy or too soaked from the consome. It was super flavorful and the meat was tender. It was a tiny bit salty for me but the Spanish rice helped even it out. I can't wait to come back to Texas just to eat at this restaurant again. Lino was amazing and super attentive. He basically did it all from being the host, server, checking the kitchen, and checking in with us. The interior and exterior of the restaurant was beautiful. I loved the added lights outside and there was plenty of parking!

This is a cute, spacious restaurant. The staff is super nice and attentive. The menu has lots of options. I ordered the chicken enchilada suiza, with rice and beans which was ok. The portions are pretty large. The chips and salsa are absolutely delicious!!

I only got a drink since I was just catching up with some buddies after work, but from what I could tell, the spot was pretty legit. I ordered a drink off tap and then brought it out in a huge glass. There was queso and chips everywhere from before I got there so I know they keep it coming. I'm planning on coming back and trying the food for myself next time

First time, with family, at this relatively newly opened restaurant. Sat outside on a small, comfortable decked area. Prompt, friendly service from start to end of our very tasty meal. Thanks Jesse and Bruno (see photo). Chips and salsa (various choices) were fresh and had the right amount of heat/zip. House salad was very large. Charro beans and refried beans were good. Grilled veggies were fantastic, perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. My pork dish was very well-seasoned, served at the right temperature, a big portion, and great - yum! My son-in-law had the five or six taco plate and said it was really good. My wife enjoyed her cheese enchilada but thought that she would pick something different next time. She made a point of saying that she loved the vegetables. Well-stocked bar inside. I thought the prices were very reasonable, especially given the large portion size. Really good dinner experience! We will be back soon.

Got food from here catered and I thought it was decent. The chicken was seasoned well but kind of dry and the beans were not seasoned at all. I really liked the salsas I thought they were flavorful and actually spicy!! The rice was really yummy as well.

    Excellent Mexican food!

Excellent food. ! I was quite impressed with all of the food here. The food was presented just a little differently than I am used to, but it actually was better the Que Divino way. I ordered the Mixed Enchiladas and both the rice and beans were in small separate bowls which made everything neater. All three enchiladas were very tasty, despite having a little different taste than I am used to. A good thing! The waiter was great as well. I've already put the address into Waze so that I can remember how we got here. (We found it serendipitously because it was near a place we had to pick up something)

Got food delivered. I purchased the Street Taco combo with beef steak. The beef was flavorless and cold. The Mexican rice was decent.

Food was ok, but the drinks were terrible. I never had a strawberry margarita with salt on the rim. Usually it is either empty or sugar.

Got parking right in front around 9 pm on a Wed. Upon entry was greeted by Melissa and sat in her section. The decor is very diner type with low, cozy booths and few tables and chairs. Not too big of a space and not sure if there is more seating elsewhere. Anyhoo, coffee was good and I got the Royal toast and a single pancake with eggs, and sausage. Ample amount of food and def had take away box. Everything was tasty and the buttermilk pancake was amazing with just syrup. Melissa was kind enough to provide little cups to take syrup home along with the tael away container. They had a daily special and a board above the kitchen with other items. Really wanted to try a slice of pie ( TX Pie Co) but seems a bit outta line with what I already ordered. Maybe next time.

We were both starving and this place is open 24/7. I drove by it for 20 years on the way to Avenue Barber Shop. I wanted shredded beef tacos but couldn't get them without cilantro so I chose shredded beef enchiladas (with an $8!) side of chips and salsa. My wife ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and home fries. She requested soft eggs, as she always does because too many places overcook them. The chips and salsa arrived. I was immediately disappointed. The menu said "we make our own chips." They were thick and yellow and appeared to be run-of-the-mill, out-of-a-bag chips. I prefer the thin white ones. I took one bite of salsa, and that was one bite too many. Cumin. I pushed it all aside. Cumin doesn't belong in salsa. (Sorry. I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley.) My enchiladas came with black beans, and there was cumin in them. Cumin is overused and abused in most restaurants. I couldn't eat them. The rice was good but the chipotle sauce on the enchiladas was not. I scraped most of the sauce off and ate one enchilada, mainly because I just needed something in my stomach. We were still 45 miles from home. I pushed my plate away. I also ordered coffee. One sip of that was all I could stand. Too weak for me. It gets worse, much worse. My wife's eggs were barely cooked. She asked the waiter for some cooked eggs. He took her plate and returned about four minutes later. The eggs were still not cooked. She tried another bite but couldn't eat them. Her bacon was tough as a boot and not chewable. The home fries were average, but by the time her plate arrived at our table for the second time, they were cold. I pulled my card out waiting for our excellent server to return. He asked how everything was (he had to notice two plates still covered with food) and we politely told him. I ate one enchilada and some rice. My wife had two bites of egg and two bites of potato. He apologized and handed me the check. $65. Nothing comped and nothing adjusted. A manager should've been summoned. How does a place like this have any customers? It was our first and last visit.

Friendly staff overall. The food fell flat for almost all of us. The salads were fresh and good. However, the ribs were below average. Cornbread was stale and not tasty. Biscuits tasted more like firm bread and not at all flaky/soft. That seemed weird to all of us. Chicken fried steak was soggy and not crispy. Drinks were ok. Not quite sure why the food was subpar, but there were 10 of us who all agreed we wouldn't return for food. There is a swanky little cozy speakeasy in the basement that may be good? We didn't try that.

It's a small space, with only around eight tables and a tiny kitchen behind the counter. It's a bit hard to locate from outside. There's no big sign on the window indicating the restaurant's name, just a plastic A-frame sign outside the building's doors. When I got there, four of the eight tables were empty but the dirty dishes had not yet been cleared. It took close to 10 minutes for the tables to be bused. Because the kitchen is so small, I'd recommend going up to the counter to order as soon as you get there. I believe you can also place your order online using the QR code on the table, but I didn't try that method. I ordered the lox n found, a toasted croissant roll with smoked salmon, avocado, dill ricotta, arugula, onion, and capers. The sandwich was delicious and filling, so I definitely didn't need them, but I do feel like I didn't get what I paid for.
