When you think of Eat N Park, you think of a stand alone restaurant that could remind you of a diner. Right? Well this one kind of throws you for a loop. It shares a building with a bank and looks nothing like a diner on the inside. Don't get me wrong, the color scheme and setup is mostly similar, but this place looks like it could be more of a banquet facility than a diner-esque type of eatery. Instead of an open setup it is more closed off and there are separate areas. Sometimes divided by French doors or half walls. It's actually nice like this and not as bad as other ENPs. When I entered with my niece we were greeted warmly by the hostess who couldn't help but make a fuss over her. She didn't mind answering the never ending stream of questions that seem to always come from a three-year-old. Once we were seated our orders were taken right away and it wasn't long before our food was in front of us. I really appreciate the staff here. They were very patient with a toddler, didn't make me feel as if we were a burden and actually intrigued her in conversation instead of just treating her as she was only a child. **One thing to note now: Kids Mac n' cheese is of the Kraft variety now.**

Cool place to fill the belly if kiddos involved. I think where can you eat with a 10 mo old who likes to smear chocolate pudding in every crevice it will seep.... EAT N PARK!!!!!!!!!! They have a great fresh salad bar which u can include as a side for any entree ordered for $2.99!!!!! Daily it includes three hot soups all the greens and fresh fruit for a healthy dessert. The meals are eatable but deserve no bragging rights. I found my go to is herb crusted chicken. Pretty tasty but it took quite a few visits to discover this...a palatable option!!! The sides are deplorable. French fries cold and hard straight from the freezer. Mashed potatoes... Instant with jar gravy. Brocolli??? Frozen straight from the bag Plus sides. They have an in-house bakery so all rolls, breads and pies are baked daily fresh. And who can resist the "Smiley" cookie. Service is usually good. And crowd is usually minimal except on Sunday brunch!!! I will continue to come here as long as my kids still acknowledge me and the family din-din night still exists!!!!

:) The fish sandwich is huge and delicious, but I must say that although I'm not a really a SOUP PERSON, the soups are fantastic!

I ordered two platters and the description in your app says the platters come with the protein of your choice and two sides. I ordered fish, macaroni and cheese and yams with an extra side of collard greens. I get my order delivered and there's no macaroni and cheese, so I called and spoke with a gentleman who said he was out and just gave me rice? And then the platter comes with one SMALL piece of fish? I was not contacted to ask me if the substitution was okay or if I still wanted the order. The owner ended up calling me back and offered to bring me the correct sides and extra fish herself, and requested that I send my address. Over an hour later, I receive a text apologizing saying that the macaroni is taking longer than expected. At this point, I've been dealing with this ordeal for 2.5 hours and told her to just forget about it because the entire experience had been ruined. First and last time!

It's the kind of place where you feel like a friend the first time you enter and you leave a real friend by the end of your meal. We're vegetarian, and they have great options for us, and have even catered an event for us where they prepared an entire vegetarian menu for our guests. Highly recommend their mushroom po' boy and their waffles with fruit (available any time of the day)! And don't forget to try their peach cobbler, sweet potato pie, or the strawberry banana pudding! They are also very involved in the community and do events all around the city. Plus, if you love jazz or comedy, you'll love spending some time there. They have great jazz music playing all the time, and they do comedy nights near the end of nearly every month. They are a jewel right here in Moxham/Johnstown!

We didn't have a reservation but they were able to seat us after a few minutes. The hostess mentioned that service would be faster if we chose the buffet since we told her we were going to the concert. We arrived at 5:30 and the concert was at 7:00 so we thought we had plenty of time. We ordered cocktails and our food at the same time. I opted for the buffet, which I could access immediately, and my friend chose a Caesar salad and a cup of soup. We waited about 20 minutes for the drinks to come and thought maybe they'd bring her food at the same time. But that didn't arrive until 6:20. For a cup of soup that they scooped out of a pot and a simple salad. Unfortunately the salad was inedible when it came because the romaine was limp and drenched in dressing. To their credit, when my friend pointed out that she couldn't eat it, the server immediately offered to take it off the check. We eventually got out of the restaurant at 6:45 with enough time for our 5 minute walk to the venue. The buffet was okay, nothing stellar. I knew going in that buffets aren't going to be as good as off the menu items, but I took a look at it before I ordered and thought it would be ok. It was only $17, so it was not a expensive gamble. Nice salad greens tossed with Cucumber, tomato and red onions plus some pickled red cabbage as a topper. Hot foods were mashed potatoes and gravy, fried chicken , Swedish Meatballs, and mixed sautéed vegetables. It was all good tasting and I was satisfied with it, just not wowed. My friend thought the soup was more French Onion than French mushroom. But she liked the ooey gooey cheese on top. Our cocktails were from the seasonal menu and were probably the best part of our meals. I had a Harvest Star and she had a Pilgrims Punch. Mine was bourbon based and hers, tequila. And for $7.00 very well priced. Because of the lag in service and the poor quality of the Caesar salad, I am rating this a 3 star experience. The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. The decor was typical hotel restaurant, low lighting and spacious seating areas.

I'm glad I finally did to check this place of my to try list. From the outside, it looks like a typical hole-in-the-wall bar in the Johnstown area. I had no idea where parking was because every time I drove past here I would be doing it at a pace I couldn't see. I was happy to see that there was ample parking behind the street facing building. Entry from the parking lot takes you up stairs or a zig-zagging ramp that looks fairly new. This area is also connected to an outdoor seating area, can't really call it a patio. Or, you can enter from outside and take the stairs up into dining room. This is a seat yourself establishment. Once you are seated, you are greeted and given menus. What an extensive menu it is. The amount of items on the menu, if you haven't been here before, can be daunting. It took me a few minutes to just give it a once over. When the server came back around to take our drink order she asked if we needed a few more minutes, yes, we did. When she returned I was ready to go. I ordered the Pickle Chips as my appetizer and the Howler as my main. The Pickle Chips were served with a side of ranch for dipping and they were amazing. Perfectly coated, not too much and not too little. Dipping in the ranch cooled them down just enough to be enjoyable. Now, the Howler, is kind of an experience. The Howler is one of their signature burgers. Half-pound patty cooked to your liking. The set toppings on this burger is bacon, choice of cheese (American Cheddar, Swiss, Provolone, or Pepper Jack), meat sauce, and a fried egg. You also can choose to add lettuce tomato onion and pickle. For mine, I went American for the cheese, lettuce, onion and pickle. There really wasn't any need for condiments as there was already so much on the burger to give it flavor. It almost comes off as either a breakfast burger or a chili cheese burger. Although I did as for medium, they overcooked it a bit. What was a nice addition here was the side. You can go with the traditional fries or go for one of many that don't seem to have an upcharge to it. Tater tots, slaw, applesauce, or nachos and one item for an upcharge, onion rings. I went with tater tots. Overall, this was an enjoyable meal. Our service was impeccable. Atmosphere was lively.

The entire diner is decorated with motorcycle racing decor... different, but i guess that makes it unique. I would love this place more if it leaned into the classic diner motif. I had 2 eggs, a sausage patty, and 2 pieces of wheat toast for $6.50! Great deal if you ask me. Service was good. Speedy service. No complaints. My biggest issue is just the lack of menu options. It's a rather small menu. Breakfast menu is mainly just combinations of eggs and meat, with a few options having pancakes and waffles. However, a simple menu doesn't mean it's not good!
