Haven't eaten at an Eat N Park in years and was pleasantly surprised! Very clean and nice waitress. Large variety on the menu inclusive local Pittsburgh classics. They also had vegetarian options including pierogies and a veggie burger. The food did take awhile to come out between the appetizers and meal. Came here to eat. It appeared we were the only customers. The sign said wait to be seated, but no one came to seat us. A man cleaning kept looking at us but never came to acknowledge us. We were about to leave when another man came over to us. We asked if they were open because we were standing there for a long time waiting to be seated. The whole place gave us bad vibes. His answer was "ok", which was a strange response. He gave no indication he wanted to seat us. We ended up leaving. I think we will skip this location next time. read more

This is a restaurant that is pretty good for the quality that your getting/expecting. This is a typical diner style spot with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The service was very friendly. Immediately greeted by the hostess and seated. Our waitress was very friendly and prompt. The food was typical diner food. Nothing special but good for what it is. I tried the bruschetta chicken. The chicken was fried well and flavor full however it was a bit too sweet. The balsamic glaze was all over the chicken vs a drizzle which made the middle of it, where most of the glaze settle, unappealing. The fries were delicious. They were those crisp on the outside but soft on the inside, my personal favorite. The pinwheels they bring out with it and the rolls are very good. They come out hot and fresh. Eat and Park is aptly named. You will be parked a long time before you are served your lunch. Don't get me wrong. The service is friendly but after that the wait is really long. Worst experience I've had here. Server kept walking away from the table while I was speaking to her to grab something for the table. And forgot things that I had asked for that I was able to get her to hear before she walked away. Someone from kitchen staff brought what I needed. Tater tots came out tasting like old grease. The server Kearie said " to be honest there's a bunch of teenagers back there that doesn't know what they're doing and the grease haven't been changed in two weeks" absolutely disgusting. I have worked in food service my whole life and have never heard of a place not changing their grease in that long period of time. Will not return to Steubenville location, which is a bummer since they're the closest location. read more

I never went to a restaurant with such nice smiling faces.They could do a little swiping while they work which than I think this place will be 100% great. I gave 3 stars because of prices other than that my husband and I were very disappointed. Server was slow and inexperienced ( not his fault) the place is just not like it use to be. I was going to go eat at a neighboring restaurant but it was very busy so decided to try Eat and Park. I should have known by the few cars in the parking lot that this meal was going to be terrible. I got the salad bar for 11.99 but it was a mess everything was mixed together and it is very sparse, the wedding soup was good though. I also ordered the fried zucchini which was dripping with oil. Service was terrible, never got a refill and I could hear the waitress complaining the whole time about personal issues. There were tables that never got cleaned off the whole time I was there. I don't think I will be going here again, I do not recommend, try one of the other nearby restaurants which are much better. read more

Had a 10:30 brunch today and ordered the buffet . What a mistake the person in charge of keeping the bar cleaned and stocked had to be out on a break. Good was either cold or the container empty. Early on a Sunday, my uncle, father and I, chose to visit Eat n' Park for breakfast as our previous visits had gone well enough. The hostess, who was also our server, seemed to be one of the only servers working at that hour so we were seated next to the buffet (which is open later in the morning). The dinning area was clean and the decor cheerful though nothing is particularly unique. Our drinks and food came out quickly. I can not speak for them, but their omelets, toppings, and toast looked good. My Bananas Foster French Toast was alright. It was my fault for ordering something so (read: too) sweet early in the morning, but I can see others liking the combination. I did appreciate the French toast not being soggy and that the banana was ripe. Should we be up early and in the area, I would not mind an invitation to return. my first impression about eat n' park was that its name conveys nothing about what you're actually going to be eating, so my expectations weren't too high. i was pretty impressed, though. there's quite a variety of things to choose from, including fried ravioli and pumpkin pie milkshakes. the pricing is super reasonable, so i definitely recommend eat n' park as a fun and delicious way to go out without spending a lot of money. read more

2016-05-02 me and my son stopped here after a long debate about where to eat at. My son love the burger he had last time he was here with my wife. I never really cared for this Eat n Park, as it seems to have a smaller menu than the other eat n parks and really dont give out big portions. But my Son wanted to eat here so I decided to just get a simple burger. my Son order the tradional Chesseburger and I ordered the Over Easy Burger. I noticed the soup of the day was Stuffed Pepper Soup. I always wanted to try that so I had that as my side. My son had chicken noodle soup. My son enjoyed his meal. My Meal... well it was something to eat. First is the Stuffed pepper soup. all my soup was rice and broth.. there was no meat or peppers in it. just rice and tomato broth... and the broth didnt even taste like it was cook with green peppers in it. So this was very disapppointing to me. The Burger was done well done. And since it was cook well done, it was very dry. next I will order it medium and see if it is any better. The egg that was suppose to be over easy was cook too long as most of the yoke was cooked and hard. The waitress was the only thing good out of the meal.. She was very friendly and create smiles on our faces with her humor and friendly outlook at work.
