Because Subaru engines have a top-mounted oil filter, it dripped down the engine, causing it to smoke. After I noticed this, I went back and let them know what happened. They were confused about why it was happening but swapped out the filter for no additional charge. A few weeks after that, it started happening again! After I looked up the filter number that they used, I found that they used the wrong one! Also, they used an impact wrench on my drain plug, which I pray didn't destroy the plug or the drain pan. The only upside to my experience was that the staff is friendly and tried to make right on the mistake. I still will not go back (unless they destroyed my oil pan, of course!).

The facility is really clean and organized, the lobby is comfortable (with AC and free WiFi!), and all 3 employees were so thoughtful and knowledgeable. Anthony greeted me when I first pulled up for my oil change and was extremely helpful. He checked my lights and tire pressure. I ended up also getting my brakes replaced because I was planning to do that anyway and had no idea that was something Jiffy Lube offered! The price is great too. Sometimes I feel like mechanics and oil change places are pushy or try to upsell me but I didn't get that here at all. Ivo did a great job replacing my oil and Tamia simultaneously worked on replacing my air filter and then helped close me out while the other two finished my tire rotation. Everyone seemed to work really well as a team and it was one of the fastest and most efficient services I've ever had. 10/10 recommend this place if you want fast and courteous service from employees who really care about both your vehicle and making sure you have a positive experience!

Open for ~2 years now, family owned and operated it is clean, friendly, efficient and reliable. Prices are reasonable, staff are helpful and polite and they seem to actually care about the customer's satisfaction. They looked my car over and found the problems, providing me with details and what could be fixed now and what could wait. They provided me details, cost, etc. and kept me apprised of progress. Additionally, they provided me a loaner car. This was a godsend as I was going to daily radiation therapy for cancer. The $100 inspection produced a quote for $5000 of parts and labor that Spartan could put into the coach. Fair enough I thought, given the age of the coach, and went ahead with about half the items. What I learned here is to listen carefully and ask questions to distinguish the "need it now" items from the "don't need it, but it generates revenue" tasks and parts. Nowhere in the quote did they list the $50 fan belt that I ended up changing myself at the side of the road 4000 miles later. I checked "Return parts to customer" on the form. This was not done, making me question the necessity of the parts and labor. On a couple of items, the service writer blamed the high labor hours on how difficult it was to access the parts (i.e. on the chassis designed and built by his employer). The service writing culture at Spartan is all about arm waving and generalizations. When I get a $20 oil change on my car at a local shop, I am presented with a detailed, computer generated statement of the work to be done for my approval. Afterward, I am given a detailed bill itemizing all parts and labor. All documentation at Spartan consisted of chicken scratch on sheets of paper. Their approach, literally, is to say something like "Let's just call that $3,200 for parts and labor". And that is what appears on the hand written bill "Replaced A, adjusted B, Total = $3200". They get quite annoyed when you ask for an explanation of what exactly they are going to do. A very unprofessional business experience. Spartan demonstrate their fair pricing with a $95 per hour labor rate (vs about $125 elsewhere), but then the number of hours required to get the job done is somewhat vague. The mechanics come out to get the coaches early in the morning and they disappear into the shop until late afternoon. The customer has no idea how much of that time was actually spent doing work. The following year, we were passing by and stopped in for the $100 inspection and an oil change. I mentioned our previous visit and the service writer asked what work had been done. I suggested that a look at their files might be more accurate than my recollection. He pulled it up on his computer screen. There was a digitized scan of the hand written chicken scratch from the previous year. He asked me to help him decipher it. I couldn't make any sense of it either. I also asked them to have a look at the air leak under the dash, which was clearly audible to both of us when the mechanic came out to the parking lot to get the coach. He shook his head and said he could not hear it. They added an hour of labor "looking" for (and not finding) the leak in the noisy shop. This time the quote included $350 for rear end seals (reasonable), plus $700 to replace all rear brake shoes because of oil saturation on one side. The brake work was described as "mandatory". I declined and had the work done at a reliable shop for the same $350 plus $75 for a pair of new brake shoes, where I was invited to watch and learned a lot. Overall, Spartan's service writers and staff come across with an impression of "How may we extract money from your wallet?" instead of "How may we help you?". Very unprofessional, which brings their trustworthiness into question. On the other hand, the Spartan parts people down the block have proven to be very knowledgeable and helpful. I purchased a full set of spares from them, which seemed to annoy the service people.
