They did not install the correct size return vent so our heater kept overheating. It would cycle on and off every few minutes and say it was heating when no air was moving. We literally had them come out 4 times before they found out what the issue one. The first 3 times they gaslit us and said that is was our Nest or a draft in an interior wall... I think they have only one good employee because the 4th guy to show up told us he liked to get paid for his overtime and would stick around until he got to the cause of the problem. Also when they finally "fixed" the return vent to a proper sized, they botched the install and had cracks in the ceiling and random screws sticking out in places. So they had to come back again to fix that mistake.

Let's just say that no wipe is flushable. We just had to convince our 2 year old granddaughter of that! I was hoping to just get it serviced, but because of the age and the freon it used, I was informed that they no longer carry that freon due to it was no longer produced and that I might find a company that has it. Found one that was able to give me 2 more years and very much appreciated the honesty the A COOL AIR gave. November 2025 it was time to change it out. Made the appointment, received the estimate after inspection, was informed of the rebates both for SMUD as well as Federal Tax Credits and gave the go ahead. They had it installed in 2 days' time, and let me tell you, this new system? Makes me come to terms that I never really had a real one to begin with!!! I was given options to which one would work best for my unit (I live in a condo) and wasn't swayed one way or the other. Chose one, and I am SO THANKFUL I did! These few days in the 90's so far have given comfortable and cool air throughout my home and including my bedroom which never cooled off or heated up to the rest of the house. He has a strong technical knowledge of water heaters, including furnaces and air conditioning. He told me all the rebates available. He knows all the new laws and when they take effect for gas & electric water heaters. He even knew the permit requirements specific to my Rio Vista. He told me all my options, including their advantages & disadvantages. He did not pressure me. He made sure I knew all my options. Then he sat back and gave me time to decide. Once I decided, Mark sent out a Jose & Aaron to install my Bradford White water heater. Jose is a craftsman who takes pride in his job. He pays attention to the finer details. He wants the finished job to look professional. I watched him work. He did an outstanding job. He and his assistant, Aaron, work efficiently. Aaron anticipates what tools Jose needs and hands him the tool before he even asks. Like Mark, Jose is very personable. He explained to me how to relight the gas pilot light if it ever went out. My appointment was from 12:00 to 3:00pm and Angel actually came early. He was extremely thorough by checking out our heating system and AC system. He found a few issues and recommended changing out some failing parts which I agreed to. The Freon in both AC units was very low and he charged it back up to normal. Wow! What a difference! While the other guys told me why so many things wouldn't work, Alix the Greiner sales guy, whipped out his measuring tape and started to think of possibilities. Then he brought over Greiner's most senior team members to come up with a game plan. They took out a huge obstacle blocking access to the units that took half a day and all were not only polite, but cheerful. You could feel the great managers of the company through their workers. I was and am blown away by the company's performance and reasonable pricing. Think of a word that is better than "excellent" and you are describing Greiner. Hire them.

They sent Thomas out to take a look, he was very up front about the condition of the unit and advised that there was alot of issues, which we totally get.
