I had to travel this month though and couldn't bring my cooling setup. I called up R&R for the job and asked if they could do same-day. They said bring it in. Unlike other IT/PC repair shops that ask me details of the problem and sorta scratch their heads at my request, Robert described in detail the problem I had with my laptop and the complexity of the job required (This wasn't a simple take off the cover and slap some paste, this was dismantling much of the innards). The thing is, *I didn't tell Robert what PC I had or what the job was*, he said that he assumed I had an Alienware since I said I had a laptop with thermal issues. Robert's not simply good at his job, he's passionate about his craft and actively seeks to learn new techniques to do his craft better. Robert got my PC fixed up in 3 hours with the thermal repasting ,and fixing up the heatsink. The thermals are down 25C and my PC feels amazing. Even though the job took 3 hours, Robert quoted the job to 1 hour of labor, and committed to it. R&R Consultants is an amazingly professional duo who don't simply do their job to pay the bills.
