I'm very new to whole the social media scene, however I decided to sign up with Yelp just to give these guys a great review because of their generous and excellent serviced they gave me and money I saved. So, I had a major computer virus that corrupted my entire computer system. I wanted to save my data and transfer it to a new drive, so I took it to Best Buy Geek Squad. They quoted me just over $125 just to diagnose the problem and gave me another quote to transfer all my data and reformat my entire system. So I was looking at close to $900 dollars to fix the issue. I didn't realize how bad this virus was or how much it was going to cost, so I told them sure and I would bring the computer in the next day. But the follow morning when I came to grab a cup of Joe at Pete's Coffee in Novato. I noticed a giant banner above the Ming Yen Restaurant displaying the words R & R Consultants Web / Design / I T Services. I decided "Hey what the heck might as well check it out." So I went inside the office and was approached by Robert and his partner Russell, they explained the services they provided. I told them about my computer issue and they were glad to take a look at it. Robert said it could be fixed and didn't need to be reformatted and said he'd be glad to fix it and it would only be a few hours. So I decided to drop the computer off and Robert called me later that day to let me know my computer was ready. He was able to fix the problem in 2 hours so the total was only $170. He also backed up files to my external drive. I thanked him for his service and told him if I had anymore computer problems or was in need of web design I would come see them. I have been having problems with my desktop computer for the past few years. The PC gets very slow and I have received periodic messages that it is getting slow and that I need to contact to contact Microsoft for viruses and attacks. I have spent sizeable sums of money to cleanup perceived issues with a computer that has very low usage. I was referred to Robert and Russell of R&R Consultants to look at my unit. They can diagnose your files remotely or you can bring your unit into the office. They found different types of Malware that was attacking the system. This was one week after I had renewed my subscription to a very popular anti-virus protection program. They actually answer their office phone! I have never had to leave a voicemail or listen to an automated system...a rare experience nowadays. Russell is so honest; he sent me to Costco so I could save $59 on an external drive (which was on sale with a coupon for a limited time) instead of buying it directly from him. I really appreciate that kind of customer attentiveness and concern! I dropped off a computer that was giving out constant error messages and, just 24 hours later, the error messages were resolved. Russell also upgraded my hard drive, transferred all my content correctly, gave me a crash course on Windows backup technology, and charged me a very reasonable price. I turned to R&R to help on a problem with my main PC, random hard drive failures. having a ton of personal data on this PC, made me worried about having just anyone work on it, as I did not want my records (taxes, banking, password) being available. I raised this with R7R and they really did a great job of explaining not only their policy, but they work flow to ensure data safely. Ok, sold. Within a day they told me what the problem was, solutions and the timing on the repair. Within another day the system was ready, with a new hard drive and all my data safely ported to the new drive. I do most my own IT work, but sometimes I get stuck. When I do, I call in Superman himself, Robert Bakerian. He flies in with a black truck with RNR all over the side of it. He is fast, and very, very, very good. Compared to other IT professionals Robert UNDERCHARGES. Sometimes I think he has no clue how reasonable his charges are. The main thing is that he gets the work done right and that I totally trust him. I highly recommend you give RNR for your IT needs. Russel has also been very helpful. R & R Consultants were initially recommended by members of my Novato In The Know group. I contacted Robert in December to upgrade my PC and advise me on other related issues. He was great! Understanding, articulate, and experienced. When I encountered problems with my PC and connectivity, file failure issues in March, I again called R & R Consultants. By that time we were in SIP and I was using my computer for Zoom and other programs. He was able to diagnose my problem online, give me the fix and I moved on. Simple as that!! These guys are great!! My dau. and I went in to have them take a look at our old model laptop, which they proceeded to not only fix, they walked us through the problems and the whys of them. They gave us some free word processing program and answered a myriad of questions. They provided us with super reasonable price quotes for other computer fixes and services. They were very personable and didn't treat us like we were dummies, just totally willing and able to help us with any and all computing problems we were asking about. Robert at R&R Consultants is GREAT! I have an older Dell laptop running XP that recently picked up a virus and needed expert attention. Robert diagnosed and repaired the virus problem while I waited, made several performance improvements to the OS and suggested an AV replacement, which I had him install, replacing my existing AV app. I can't say enough good things about Robert and Russell, his associate at R&R Consultants.
