The guy who runs the places on par with the best I've ever met in the bike industry for sure, but I bought an E bike there and he walked me through the whole thing, I just special ordering some parts and it's just a fantastic shop altogether highly recommend overall the shops on the island I would say this is the best one now I'll give it my strongest endorsement. Almost a year ago we ordered bikes from E-bikes Hawaii. We found the employees to be friendly, low pressure and helpful. Our bikes arrived in early 2023. Service was great, we enjoyed our e-bikes and they reminded us to come back after about a month to have everything checked over. Billy is super helpful. My only reason to remove 1 star is that my family ordered bike bag and rack accessories for me from the store for my Christmas gifts. Whoever put in the order didn't order the correct mounting brackets for my small size bike. I ended up waiting about four months in order to get the rack mounted. It seems like there was poor communication with the ordering of the bracket. Once again, Billy came to our rescue and got it figured out. I was happy to finally be able to use my rack, but something to note is that with the size of the bike rack/bike and seat placement, we had to finagle the seat, since it blocks the bike bag locking mechanism from working correctly. Anyway, I'll keep bringing my business to E-bikes Hawaii Kapolei. The location is convenient, workers are nice, and it's helpful that they're open on Saturdays. Parking is easy, as well. read more

There service sucks sent my $7k emtb. They claim to have fixed speedometer for not showing speed they couldn't correct issue. Bike now has more serious problems motor turns off every 15 minutes or so while riding. BUYER BEWARE. I want to buy a Sur Ron ultra but not from Ebikes Hawaii. Their technicians are not capable of servicing what they sell. As for my $7k Bulls. They claim they are Bulls certified dealer that's BS. One reason I purchased from a local dealer was for customer support and service. Do your research before dropping $7k on an ebike. I learned my lesson , I'm never purchasing anything from them. read more

$5400 for a Lemon - After spending $5400 on a Sur Ron Light Bee X at eBikes Hawaii, I was left stranded with a dead battery and abysmal customer service. While the bike was initially fantastic, the battery failed after only 600 miles. eBikes Hawaii misdiagnosed the problem, charged me $30 for a fix that did not work, then gave me the runaround for four months while trying to claim the warranty. They ultimately offered no solution except to buy a new battery with 20% less range at an exorbitant price - 2000$. Despite numerous visits and calls, they failed to provide support or follow through with promised repairs. Location isn't right on google maps or Apple Maps, they have many generic super 73s, and overpriced bikes you never heard of. and many unknown brands. Biggest fake is the advertising of the super73 . Highly recommend bike factory or Segway of Hawaii as there inventory Is bigger and they offer sales and great financing option as this company just have some weird complicated to talk about financing option and they just have that dealership like mind set where it's just sell sell and sell. Well business is business. They pay there taxes and do things right but if they don't compete with the competition they won't make it. It's a tough world and business is hard I understand but it's just a suggestion for people to do there research before buying. In other note they tried selling me a unagi electric scooter with 6,000 miles on it for just $145 off the sticker price. How nice. Scuff and marks everything, I did the research on how long a battery can last and how far the motor can actually go and yeah it will die eventually, sooner or later. read more

I recently bought a Zero, great brand, good reviews and charging wouldnt be a problem. (So they say) I'm unaware that the bike should deplete half of its battery while riding on the freeway for a short distance or literally take forever to charge and as soon as its done and you use it, your back to the plug. There's no real riding potential on battery. I tried to call the store numerous times to speak to a sales rep. and/or manager. I get the well contact you, Weeks later I try again and still no help. I mean thats poor customer service, you have an unhappy customer here. I got a bike here I can hardly use for commuting and it seems like the zero dealer doesnt care to get back to anyone with a automatic text that reaches your phone after you try to call. The guys in the front and the back are very respectful and very friendly, love their customer service A+, my bike broke down with in a mile of the shop and they rode out to me and helped me fix my bike and helped figure out what was wrong. Poor customer service. Two guys behind counter busy playing with their phones and talking stories to each other. Guy in the back was friendly. The bike I was interested in was still in box on shelf, guy in back was busy building other bikes. So I asked the guys in front of was possible to have bike built by next morning cause I was very interested in purchasing it ( it was around 11 am at the time) they said sure we'll have the guy build it when he's done. I showed up the next day around the same time(11am) and wouldn't you know it, it was still in box on the shelf. The guy in the back said no one told him to build it. I walked out and went down the street to bike factory and bought me a Super73. Spent twice as much , but service was way better at The Bike Factory. Don't waste your time at e-bike, they are a bunch of losers. read more

Reserving items for people who do not pay versus someone in front of them who can pay. Process needs work for wait time. Was not offered anything in lieu of wait time. Disappointed. They seemed like stand-up guys... I was considering buying an electric bike but when i noticed they grounded down my disc brake pad on my Hybrid --red light. I know this cause when I brought it in..it was rubbing, when I got it back they weren't rubbing but barely worked. Besides it was basically brand new and visually noticeable. You have to trust your bike shop or your in for a ride. I understand everyone is trying to make an extra buck--but messing with the brakes? That is criminal. I went to Bike Factory and noticed they also have e-bikes for sale! Which is a relief because dealing with these guys will get you nowhere. I wanted to say something but how do you respond to something and someone like that? It's like arguing with a crack head over a missing twenty-dollar bill. So I didn't bother. Remember if you decide to roll the dice, get a full inventory and records of your parts. As a hobbyist I enjoy doing the maintenance anyway, but as a friend I don't mind paying for labor. I needed the adapter on the charger switched out, which seemed to be a simple thing to do. However, the owner of the store didn't write anything down or anything else to remember what needs to be connected with what. In the end when I picked it up it the adapter was connected to the wrong piece, so that it was useless. He fixed the mistake, however I had to pay for both- the time he did it wrong and the time he fixed the mistake. I still don't understand why I had to pay for his mistake. In the end he told me that it doesn't matter since there aren't many e-bike shops on the island and I probably have to come back to him anyway so he doesn't need to worry about it. I purchased the first bike for my wife and was very impressed with the way John was willing to answer all of my questions and point me in the right direction. I ended up with an epic bike for her and was able to attach a child trailer for my two kids to ride in. After the first bike I knew I had to have one for myself. Today I went back and talked to one of the staff Mike. He was very helpful and after I explained what I wanted he pointed me to an amazing bike. He covered everything with me and I ended up purchasing it. What an amazing bike!
