Rachel is absolutely amazing -- even though we've never met in person, she makes you feel completely taken care of every time. What can I say that others haven't covered? This company is amazing and cares! I booked some rentals and then had to change up a bunch of things a day before due to the baby not taking formula like expected. Everything was waiting for us at the hotel like planned. Then, the hotel informs us that they "do not know" if they have enough cribs to give us one and even after many hours, couldn't give a definite answer. Out of desperation (due to travel-weary and super cranky baby), I asked Rachel if we could get a crib despite it being trafficky and last minute and I could feel that she empathized and understood my distress. She made it happen and it literally felt like having a friend on the island! I booked all of our baby stuff the week before our trip (crib, pack n' play and high chair). But when we got to the airport I realized we forgot a car seat! We've rented baby gear in several other cities, and Paradise Baby Co has been the best and smoothest so far! Everything was waiting for us at our hotel when we arrived, and they texted a day before we left to confirm the pick-up time. This was the first time we ever tried renting a toddler bed. It worked out great! Our 3yo was so happy to have a bed her size that she could get in and out of easily. It came with a mattress cover and two sets of sheets/blankets, which we really appreciated. We also rented a stroller wagon, sound machine, potty, and step stool, which were all great. The tub of toys was a huge hit - our older kids had fun with it too! Fantastic variety of stuff. The included books were definitely appreciated - we ended up reading "Mermaid Luau" every night! The only thing that didn't work out was the beach umbrella - nothing wrong with it, but there was heavy wind the week we were there and it just wasn't strong enough and kept inverting in heavy winds. We ended up paying for the stronger beach umbrellas from our hotel. My guess is that most weeks of the year that wouldn't even be an issue. But that's really a tiny nitpick - everything from Paradise Baby was exactly what we hoped and in great condition. read more

I was in a major bind after arriving to O'ahu and finding that the airline had broken my son's wheelchair. They were unable to immediately find a loaner wheelchair and my son is unable to walk, so we were struggling to get him around on our vacation. We just arrived in Oahu and Paradise delivered all the items we requested, all clean and pretty much in new condition! They also gave my son a cute book as a gift to take back. The delivery man Jerry was amazing, great customer service and was quick at putting all the stuff together. The communication whether it's email or by phone has been very reliable. They will do what they say, which is so appreciative when you have a little one. The stress of traveling and being able to put your baby down in a nice clean crib at the end of a long travel day was priceless. The bucket of toys for the 9-12 months was the right selection for my 1 yr old. All worked and included batteries. It's been providing hours of entertainment for him. These guys are THE BEST! We had used them a couple of years ago when we took our first baby to Hawaii, and recently, when we took our second baby to Hawaii again. The cost has gone up over the year (what hasn't really, with crazy inflations and all), but it is still 100000% worth it renting stuff from them vs carrying it. Both of our babies loved all the toys that we rented. Our 2nd baby really enjoyed the tub full of toys (so many wonderful age-appropriate toys and books!). He was so attached to some of the toys, and he raided the tub everyday for toys to play with, and books to read. Saved our sanity and bought us some extra time to get ready as the toys/books kept him preoccupied. The bath and beach toys were wonderful as well! I highly recommend your service! The stroller we got was a Bumbleride stroller which was clean and aesthetically pleasing. It looked like one of the gears we own. The beach tent functioned properly and the wagon hauled all of the kids' gears. Toddler bed and the sheets were cleaned set up properly. My family and I traveled to Aulani only for my 5 year old to get sick the first day in. We had some unavoidable walking planned but I obviously didn't want him exerting more energy than he had to and was trying to think of a way to keep him off his feet. I decided to rent a stroller. I called Paradise Baby co before hours just hoping someone would answer and Rachel picked up right away. She was extremely nice and empathetic, arranged to drop off the stroller the same day by noon even though we weren't on the original drop off schedule, and was so nice about flexibility in how long we could keep the stroller to use. She was there in a time of need for my family and gave us the peace of mind that my son would have some comfort while he recovered. She was also accommodating with pricing and offered us a coupon code to use. We will be back to this area again next year and although I never rent baby or toddler items, I would rent with this company again for the pure breeze this was and for the lovely empathy for my family in a time of need. Fabulous. We rented two Bumbleride umbrella strollers, a booster highchair, and ordered a package of diapers. And I ordered with less than 24 hours notice and they delivered, literally. The strollers were fabulous - easy to push, taller handles, excellent recline, large sunshades. I only wish they had a parent cup holder and maybe a basket underneath, but we compensated with a canvas bag hung across the handles. The booster highchair was perfect for baby's breakfasts. Only disappointing thing, was they didn't have any "natural" diaper options for the first day drop and had to bring us Pampers the next day -- just in time because we ran through the small stash we packed! Great company! I wanted to rent bikes on Oahu and Paradise baby was one of the only companies I found that had adult AND children's bikes to rent. They delivered for free with a min purchase. Compared to other companies that I called, this by far was the least expensive option that delivered. We enjoyed the bikes so much that we wanted to extend the rental; they were so flexible with us and even offered us an extra day free of charge. Bikes came with helmets and bike locks. Bringing our 2 car seats was not an option due to the bulk. Renting 2 car seats from any car rental company would also not be an option. Absolutely wonderful service! We recently stayed in a North Shore condo that didn't have cribs or high-chairs available, and Paradise BabyCo came through 100%. They gave our trip considerable peace of mind, which is a valuable commodity when traveling with toddlers. Weeks before our trip, PBC was in contact with me to make sure everything was to our liking and that our rentals would be ready when we needed it. They took care of everything, including working directly with our condo rental agency, since they needed door keys and gate keycards to be able to access our unit to set up before our arrival. When we arrived to our condo in the evening, the crib and high chair were already set up and ready to put our baby down for bed. Talk about ease of mind! Literally all I did was order the rentals online and tell them where we were staying, and they took care of the rest. Also, the rentals were very good quality, not banged up like you might expect with kids equipment. They were also a breeze for pickup at the end of our trip. We had communicated to PBC that we had an AM flight out, and sure enough, their delivery guy (who was very polite btw) came early as requested to pack up our rentals. It didn't even take him more than 10 minutes, in-out. I used Paradise Baby Co for my recent family trip to Oahu in October. My twins were 8 months at the time and required a LOT of gear. I considered bringing my double stroller on the plane, but changed my mind after reading horror stories of lost/damaged strollers. We also considered having the boys sleep in borrowed Pack N Plays, but decided that cribs would be better for them. So, I was happy when I found Paradise Baby Co. They not only had everything I needed for my trip, but the prices were very reasonable and the delivery/pick-up could not be any more convenient. We ended up renting a double BOB jogging stroller and two mini-cribs. It was only $300 or so for two weeks. What a deal! Just purchasing a cover for my stroller at home to travel with would have been almost $100. I had them delivered to my parents' house and they were all set up when we arrived, with sheets and blankets provided. I declined the bumpers but ended up needing them later on (my boys kept getting their arms and legs stuck in the crib bars). Paradise Baby Co was so kind to deliver two bumpers the very next morning free of charge. The cribs and stroller were great and worked well for our stay. Paradise Baby Co was very accommodating with the pick up time as well (I needed a later pick-up time as no one was going to be home in the morning). Great, great, great service. We booked equipment rental through Paradise baby for our visit to Oahu based on previous reviews. The process of booking online seems easy enough - However they seem to be overwhelmed with the amount of business they are doing, as I tried calling so many times and it kept going to the answering service. I also found them a bit slow to respond by email at times. Bill did explain that they are in the process of training another staff member for their office so hopefully things will improve soon. I did need to make several changes to our order which they were gracious about. When I did speak with Cara and Bill they were super friendly and helpful. Cara even suggested where to shop locally for a stroller when we decided not to rent one after all. The equipment we hired was excellent - clean and in great working order, and the crib sheet and blanket were very soft. We also ordered a pack of diapers and wipes which was really convenient for us after a long trip. When we arrived at our hotel and our room was ready much earlier than expected, Cara was able to arrange for an earlier delivery time, which was appreciated - especially since our baby was overtired from travelling, and needed to get some sleep in her crib. I would be happy to rent from Paradise Baby again, but would suggest that there is room for their communication to improve. Otherwise, thumbs up! read more
