The store was founded with one single store in Queens New York in 1982 and expanded into a multimillion billion dollar cultural and culinary business with nearly 100 locations in the US and the United Kingdom. We really enjoyed visiting and found so many unique treats that I probably could have used Google translate to look up the macros to some of the foods if that's your thing. There are sorts of household goods, toys, skincare, cakes, unique sodas and drinks, sushi, candy and so much more . It's absolutely incredible and fun with so much to explore it's seriously worth your time it's lot's really a fun experience. We had gone in and grabbed some sushi and it was absolutely delicious. The latter seems to sell out throughout the day. I suppose this makes sense as you're likely not doing a full grocery run at this mall. You're charged extra for a .99 grocery bag so bring your own. A nice shop with cosmetics, cold drinks and rows of snacks, candy and other things. Was looking for some hand cream I asked one of the workers and she didn't know what I was saying so I started scratching my hand and she knew what I was asking, led me to the selections of hand cream. Was looking around for some instant noodles found a few. Bummer thou they had a large selection of Japanese soda and drinks but No Diet Pepsi or Diet Coke. I had to get them from a bakery nearby.

Highlights of my finds: ＊Kewpie 80% calorie cut mayo - I've been searching for these for the longest time. It is constantly out of stock at H Mart and Sunrise Mart. So excited to score them here! Only 20 cal per serving and tastes exactly the same as the regular one. ＊Chiikawa blind boxes and keychains - they sell some japan exclusive ones here! I love collecting Chiikawa keychains. ＊Viral fruit shaped ice cream - sell in box/individually. ＊Japanese special Twinings tea bags - strawberry & blueberry, peach & orange, raspberry & lemon. ＊JP and KR beauty - they sell Romand, Dasique, 3CE, Canmake, Kate, and more. I got a romand lip balm for only $9.99. ＊Claw machines, blind boxes and anime figures on the second floor!

Apparel collection wasn't that good, ceramic, decorative and stationary items were the best in my opinion. The prices are decent, but little higher compared to dollar store items, probably because these are imported goods. The aisles are tiny. Need to walk carefully, especially in the ceramics area. It's mostly tidy. Different sections of the stores have associates helping customers. The checkout line was long for us. Took us few minutes to get to the register. They also charge additional fees for credit card that is posted right in front of the checkout counter.

They accept both credit/debit card and cash as forms of payment. Staff is friendly and fast service since there's never a line. Stuff can get pricey depending on what you wanna buy. However, I think their prices are actually pretty reasonable and way cheaper compared to other websites and Amazon in my most honest opinion. I always want to stop by this place wherever I'm around East Village/St. Marks Place.
