I noticed a good variety of Korean beauty products here, too, which you don't really see a lot of in the other Asian inspired stores. Ebisu is just what I imagined it to be - cute, bright, fun, and filled with lots of cool stuff. The prices weren't too bad and there was lots of variety. The store is well laid out and clean. My only criticism would be the staff. The cashier that rung me up was nice, but the people in the aisles seemed to hover but never acknowledged me. It was a little weird. read more

Very cute store. It all Japanese gift stores. The store is popular among the women and children. The deep inner store is Japanese stuff toy grab machines. The token price is a bit high. The store carries many hello kitty toy, goods, hand bag and more. From the toy side, other than stuffed toy, they have collectible toy and Lego. They also have the stationary section with the cute Japanese cartoon logo. The store also has the dessert and snack section for the food. Overall is a great store to explore especially for my wife. read more

It was quite difficult to find parking. There are less than 20 spots and the businesses around it have signs that say towing is a risk (one being a Wells Fargo). It looks like it's set within a further Walgreens or CVS, but they did well decorating the inside. They have a large section of gachapon, but they are extremely overpriced compared to the ones elsewhere and in Japan, ranging from $3 to almost $12. The cashier also warned me that the token exchange machine doesn't give change, so you need exact cash to purchase the tokens you want. They had a wide variety of snacks and drinks, a lot that I've seen in the stores in Japan. Some of the prices were reasonable and some were a little up there. They did have sales on certain drinks, which was nice. I wish they had Black Thunder sweets or Corn Potage puffs which were my favorite snacks from Japan. I was tempted to get the pack of 3 of the lychee fruit ice cream, but I ended up finding it at HMart for $3 less. The beauty and care section was nice. There was a wide selection, especially of the Japanese sunscreen, albeit very expensive, close to double the price of what they cost in Japan. They also have feminine hygiene products, which are much higher quality than the U.S. ones. I'm not really too into blind boxes, but they looked like they had a wide selection. On the way home, I decided to stop at the new EBISU store off of Sand Lake Boulevard across from the mall. My first impression it is a very big store with a lot of of items. Most of the items are in Japanese because it is an Asian store; where is H Mart has English and the language the store is known for. They do give you this really cute reusable bag so you can come back and shop. They do not have paper or plastic bags though. I really enjoyed the music in the store. It was a very enjoyable experience. They have four people at the checkout counter; when you enter in the store, they have an entrance door and an exit door. Today I got my friend Eli a gift. He really enjoys Pokémon, so I got him a limited edition Pokémon coffee cup. I also got myself a white peach, flavored Fanta, as well as a little pouch that I can put my makeup in in my purse. If you haven't been here and are a big fan of these types of shops, I highly recommend however, I think I am more of a fan of H Mart than EBISU. 10/10 read more

If you're wondering, if you should go, the answer is yes. This place has a lot to offer from beauty products home products, snacks, toys, stationary, blind boxes, and so much more. My husband and I originally went to check out the blind boxes and let me tell you. They have so many options! They have lots of Pokémon items from blind boxes to coin purses to stuffed animals. They have several snacks like chips, cookies, and chocolates with flavors such as steak, fried chicken, Matcha, shrimp, pork belly. They have the viral fruit ice cream. I tried the peach and mango. Those are my favorite. The grape is OK. The beauty products are by far my favorite. They have so many options from shampoo, hair mask, mascara, chapstick, sunscreen, eyeshadow, eyebrow pencil, and so much more. The Nivea chapstick, melt type, is by far my favorite. Behind the register, they sell, Sunny Angels and sminkis. They even sell Pokémon toilet paper. They sell clothes detergent, plates, bowls, cups, chopsticks, Matcha sets, toothbrushes and so much more. This store is an adventure and I recommend it. read more

Pretty spacious as compared to other Asian culture stores. This is around the size of the TESCO on colonial. They seemed to have the same types and amount of goods. I think their crane game section and gashapon section were the largest I have noticed in the area. I do not understand the pricing as it seems to be all over the place. A plush that would be 20-25 at any other place is priced at a low $15, yet a blind box I noticed was $5 more than anywhere I have seen before. They are new but the store was clean and well organized and the cashier was pleasant enough. I think the location near the Florida Mall will help them but I feel like greater Orlando is now fully covered with this time of store. read more

Came in on Mother's Day because I wanted to see if they sold bb3 items. They don't, but it is a super cute store. Lots of random items. Hubby bought a bottle of face lotion and they were giving out fake flower in honor of Mother's Day so I got one. It's cute, yarn wrapped flower. Their parking lot was full. I'm glad there's something like this, I'm tired of boring stores and storage units popping up. We need more fun and interesting shops. read more

The largest ebisu life store opened in Orlando, nearby the Florida Mall. One week from its opening, the store is still well supplied and still has a long line for check out. Parking was a little struggle. The store has a lot of Japanese treats, toys, cosmetics supply, and food. Pricing is a little bit more but cheaper than going to Japan. Ebisu Life Store opened not too long ago. I went on the second day it was opened and the line was wrapped around the store and parking was sparse. A hot tip is that Wells Fargo will tow you if you park in their parking lot, so think twice before you do so. I really love this store because there are so many fun aspects to it. They have a beauty supply area, a blind box area, aisles and aisles of house wares, stationary, plushies and snacks. They also have vending machines. A lot of them are empty now, and be careful which vending coin exchange machine you put your money in. There is one for the claw machines, one for the vending machines and another one. I've only used the vending machine and claw. The claws are a great deal because it's a dollar a try. And, I got the hang of it now. I have walked away with four plushies twice. They have the novelty icecreams you have seen on Instagram and even toilet paper with Pokemon and Hello Kitty printed on it. Enjoy the pictures. There are a lot! read more

This is a pretty fun store to browse if you're interested in anything from most Asian culture. There are plenty of mystery boxes to pursue, claw machines, figurine to collect and plenty of tasty Asian snacks and drinks to try. I went for my first time today just to see what all the fuss was about. I was able to get a parking quite easily now that the hype has died down. I went down every single aisle to ensure I didn't miss out on anything. I ended up grabbing a few things here and there to try out--a few snacks and some home good items. The store is very clean, and seems to continue to be pretty busy. There was no line going out the door, but the store was pretty packed. It can be hard to browse with so many people in an aisle. The employees seemed very friendly and willing to help if needed. I enjoyed speaking to a few of the employee's I'd pass as I browsed the store. It is definitely worth a visit if you're a collector or enjoy anything of anime culture. read more

This is a cute place. It's full of blind box items some Asian beauties and Asian snacks as well as ice cream if you into a blind box items then this would be the place to go. If you enjoy collecting little collectibles, the only downside is that the parking is terrible. It seems like a lot of people wanted to come here and it's very difficult to find parking. I came here on a Saturday night around 8:00 p.m. So there were quite a few people inside but it wasn't as busy as it normally as during the day. I ended up taking some photos of the body wash and shampoo so I could have AI analyze it and tell me which ones are best for my needs. All of the items that I got here are great quality and the shampoo makes my hair so soft. I'll definitely be back to buy more. There is so much to see here and it's incredibly bright inside which makes it a little overstimulating but just give yourself some time while here. The staff was friendly and they were restocking the shelves while we were here. I would definitely recommend checking this place out, even if you don't buy anything, there is so much to see. Some of the items you can get at other local Asian stores cheaper, but if you're in a time crunch it's not marked up that much more. For example, some of the chips I could find at other Asian markets for $1 cheaper. So it's not much of a savings, but it just depends on what your budget is. read more

Genuinely so happy that Ebisu has finally come to Orlando! The only times I've ever been able to visit an Ebisu was during my trips to NY but this Ebisu completely outshines those! I believe the old space must of been a Walgreens or something because the store is absolutely huge. There are rows and rows of plushies, figures, blind boxes etc. Literally anything you could dream of from Sanrio, Smiski, Anime, and more. Towards the back of the store is a section just for claw machines which are my absolute favorite. And not to mention the gigantic hello kitty archway in the middle of the store that is absolutely so cute for taking pictures! They also carry house supplies like Sanrio dishware and even paper towels and toilet paper! I saw a Rilakkuma toilet paper set with his little face on it that was so adorable. Came for opening weekend! Impossible to find a parking spot, I wish their parking lot was bigger. Having been to Japan, the store had a lot of items we saw on our trip! Lots of hello kitty product, and I liked how the shop was laid out and easy to find the different sections of product. It didn't have as big of a snack area than other stores in the area. They had a great blind box collection and I felt their prices were fair for them! We grabbed items we've never tried and grabbed some of our favorites. This place has EVERYTHING. The prices were a little all over the place. Some items were pretty reasonable, and some were outrageously expensive. The vending machines are all pretty pricey too. There is an amazing variety of snacks, blind boxes, and other items, like stationary and home goods. The staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful! Grand opening day is finally here!!! I have been waiting for this spot to open up once Walgreens closed down and it did not disappoint! They really did a great job with theming the place out and making use of the space where it doesn't feel crowded. It was busy but not like the madness of H Mart at all. Only thing I can say is... just go! You'll love it. Its very similar to Teso Life that is over on West Colonial. Its a whole experience with blind boxes, building kits, game machines, claw machines, cute stationary, home use goods, makeup/skincare, asian snacks/ramen/ice cream/ drinks. This is a super fun spot! There's tons of stuff packed into the space from Korean skincare to mochi and ramune drinks to Hello Kitty toilet paper. It has not been open long, so it was still pretty busy but I was able to look at everything I wanted to. I was able to buy a Korean moisturizer that I had been looking for that was priced less than on Amazon. I got a variety of snacks to share and resisted spending a bunch of money on things from the plethora of gachapon machines. At checkout, I got a bonus mini make it kit and their shopping bags are very nice. I will definitely be back. read more
