Visiting from Orange County, CA and was thrilled to see a combo Thai/Sushi spot in this really hip part of Leesburg where everything is local, just the way I like it and this great place is a reminder why we need more areas that appreciate local businesses! I tried out their Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp and it would stand toe to toe to any of the best spots I've had in OC with the perfect texture on the noodles and right balance of flavors. The Thai wings were crispy but succulent on the inside and the Toro sushi roll was SOLID with the freshness of the fish and right balance of rice/fish. The place itself had a nice feel to it since it was in the corner of a street so you get to see a lot of folks walk by in this busy area as the natural light illuminates the inside of the place. The service was wonderful; the server I spoke with was super friendly as she talked about the neighborhood and the general area itself which was such a nice personal touch with my meal. I was in the area and saw this place as a suggestion on GoogleMaps. Drove to Leesburg only to find out they have a handwritten sign on the door stating they are "temporarily closed." They haven't bothered to update their operating status anywhere. read more

Overall a pretty cool sushi spot and a great addition to downtown Leesburg. The space that it took over was made smaller but they still have a bit of the upstairs space. The service was pretty good, things came out at a timely manner read more

I'm very disappointed with the service we received at this restaurant. We waited over an hour for our food, and after such a long wait, I requested to cancel the order. A waitress then came out with the food and told us that because of the delay, we would not have to pay for the meal. We still felt bad and offered to at least pay for our drinks, which she agreed to. About 30 minutes later, the owner came out and suddenly told us we still had to pay for the food because we ate it. We calmly tried to explain what the waitress had told us and even asked if she could bring the waitress out to clear up the misunderstanding, but she never came out. Instead of listening or trying to handle the situation professionally, the owner was rude, confrontational, and dismissive. What's most disappointing is that I had been here before and kept trying to give this place another chance because they are still fairly new. Unfortunately, I never received good service, and this experience was the last straw. They completely lost me as a customer. I would have appreciated it if the owner had simply spoken respectfully and handled the situation better. It's sad to see small businesses fail because of poor customer service and bad management. read more

The food was on point. But unfortunately not the Thai tea. It's pre-batched and tastes like they add too much condensed milk/sugar. It tasted like I sipped straight sugary heavy cream. It would be an easy fix if they didn't pre-mix it, just ask for tea with a side of condensed milk. But other than that..great food read more

The Food was AMAZING!!! As a Thai food lover, this is amazing. The lunch time is quiet, so if you can't go for lunch. But we sat and talked to the owner, who was also the waitress and she explained they have fresh fish come in daily, she orders all her spices from Thailand and she doesn't use white sugar... the result is amazing and yummy food. I try to avoid writing reviews where I thought the restaurant was so bad that I could only give it one star, but I have to make an exception with Ebisu. Overpriced, tasteless food, in a location that would be better served as an ice cream parlor or antiques shop. $5 dollars for for 50 cents worth of seaweed salad is just one example of the high prices and tiny portions. Sunomono with so little vinegar that everything tasted bland and fish that was almost too chewy to swallow is unacceptable in any Japanese restaurant. And In a town where restaurants as more plentiful than traffic lights, there are already plenty of excellent sushi bars. Why this one exists is a mystery. read more

Best Thai in Leesburg. Sushi is very good but not great. Pad Thai, Ka Praw, Panang Curry, etc., traditional and delicious. Love the Tankatsu ramen. My only real complaint is the take out. It was a busy Saturday evening, but we were seated quickly at a high top for two--always a win when you're hungry and hoping for a smooth night out. We ordered the Chesapeake roll and shrimp tempura, but were mistakenly brought the Chesapeake roll and shrimp tempura roll. Honestly, no complaints--it turned out to be a happy accident, and we thoroughly enjoyed both. We also split the chicken cashew dish, which was flavorful and satisfying. The rice was cooked just how I like it, and the sauce was delicious. Service was smooth, and the food hit the mark. The only area that could use some attention is the ambiance. For such a prime location in Leesburg, the decor feels a bit dated and underwhelming. Took 2 hours for dinner for 2 people. The sushi was falling apart on the plate before we even picked it up. The pieces were different sizes. The service was lacking. I have tried everything from curry, ramen, Thai fried rice, Pad Thai and multiple specialty sushi rolls here over the last few months and everything is just absolutely amazing! Lychee martinis are out of this world and they have Asahi and Sapporo on tap which was an unexpected treat.
