Sushi appetizer (didn't catch one of my actual roll this was a freebie). And chicken chili basil, so good.

Service here is top notch and so is the food! I wish I was in this area more I'd come more often.

I only tried the sushi and not the Thai food. The sushi had way too much rice, each bite, my mouth was too full. None had avocado even though typically the rolls had avocado. Just felt lacking. Miso soup was too salty. I asked for a house salad, I expected a small salad similar to other sushi restaurants but it was way too big. I will say that the salad was still good, just not what I expected. The Thai iced tea was also very good. Great presentation, Decor and restaurant were very nice. Service was also wonderful.

This area is saturated with Thai restaurants. All of them are rated pretty good. So, to see a new one open up, was a little overkill. Finn Thai has multiple locations throughout the DMV. Our favorite location is in Purcellville. We were curious about this new one across from the One Loudoun area. This location shares a parking lot with Five Guys, Big Screen(yes they are still around) and Dunkin Donuts. We came for lunch since they offer a lunch special. The specials include a small salad and an eggroll. We also love appetizers so we indulged and well.... Ordered more food. Their fried tofu app was a hefty portion. Now, I've had better but these were pretty generous in size and not too greasy($9). The salad was so tasty, they decorated it with carrots and had a light dressing. The lunch portion of my pad see ewe (spelled wrong) was again, pretty generous. I love the char of the noodles and they included a bunch of fried tofu and broccoli. Service was very good... well at 12:30p, we were the only dine in customers. Our server brought us a few take out containers because, well, we ordered lots of food. Website tip: if you order online take out there's a 15% off coupon code. Also we did not know this but if you pay cash for dine in, then you can take 8% off. The small dining room has a long bar. It's really pretty inside. It may not look like the nearby competition with the hanging floral arrangements but I do feel the food is better here.

    Honey green tea... not matcha

Decided to try this newer Thai place in the area and this spot is pretty good! Just knocking a star off because on the drink menu the honey green tea picture is advertised as a matcha green tea not a regular green tea... there was also only one waitress for the entire place which was packed during lunch time on a weekend! I recommend replacing the picture on the menu and getting an additional staff member to assist. The beef in the panang curry was a bit too chewy. Overall the sushi, crab fried rice, and pad thai were delicious! The inside was very spacious and clean as well.

My spouse and I were directed when we entered to the worst seats in the house. When we objected we were told the seats were " reservations" for the benches and not for two people. The only problem was every other bench was occupied by only two people also. We left as we refuse to spend money at racist establishments. Owner of this establishment- stop the racism. you should treat all customers the same and not have seats for African Americans because you think we will accept an inferior experience. Anyone who cares about not patronizing racist businesses should not eat here.

We stopped by for dinner around 5:30 on a Friday evening and luckily the place was not busy. We were promptly seated and the service was good in the beginning, but it took a rather long time to get the check when we were done. The food we ordered tasted like standard Thai food but on the expensive side. There was nothing different or unique about the flavor - although the sushi is a unique aspect, but we did not order that today. Also, the quantity was a little bit more than the other two Thai places in the one Loudoun / Ashburn area.

Great food but what makes this place stand out is the amazing service. Servers are very attentive and ready to help. A great menu + calm ambiance make this a great spot for a relaxing dinner.

This place gets a thumbs up for hospitality alone. Such a beautiful atmosphere and I am feeling the jazz. My first thought going in was, wow stunning design and the staff was extremely welcoming. The food, amazing and I will be back to try more dishes.

A lot of the NoVA hibachi spots aren't open for lunch on the weekends. We chose Sakura Grill because it was one of the few that were. We came for a Sunday lunch and it was nearly empty. Service was pleasant, but the hibachi chef did the bare minimum. We started with a couple appetizers - the crab rangoons, takoyaki, and an eel roll. All were satisfactory and brought out quickly, but noticeably absent from the takoyaki were the bonito flakes. I will commend the restaurant for being mindful of dietary restrictions. We had someone in our party who requested no onions in their hibachi, and the chef was able to accommodate without any issues. We also had someone who ordered the vegetable hibachi, and the staff asked whether that diner was a vegetarian and advised that the hibachi meals came with shrimp. Another plus was that they had a sink in the dining area to wash your hands. As for the hibachi presentation, the chef lit the grill on fire, spun the spatulas around at the intro, tossed the egg up and down a few times, did the onion volcano (though poorly executed), and attempted to throw a piece of zucchini into our mouths. There was an option for a sake shot from a squeeze bottle, but we all declined. The chef relied on a few gimmicks - a silly squirt bottle and a clucking rubber chicken. He didn't have a lot of showmanship or pizazz or any wow factor. The chef wasn't very engaging - he might as well have cooked the food in the back kitchen. This was my brother-in-law's first time at a hibachi restaurant, but the lack of razzle-dazzle in the cooking did not impress and left something to be desired. I ordered the filet mignon hibachi. Each hibachi meal comes with a small house salad and hibachi soup (mushroom based broth with fried onions). You can also swap out for the miso soup, if you like. The filet mignon was nice and tender. I could've done with more flavor, but I guess that's what the dipping sauces are for. One of my favorite things about going to a hibachi place is the fried rice. This fried rice was average, and the veggies were also average... everything was average. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff were kind enough to sing happy birthday twice - once from the hibachi chef with the onion volcano and once from the waitstaff with a festive drum and tambourine. I will credit the waitstaff for providing effective service, but the food and hibachi experience were pretty mid overall.

However, they do a good takeout business, as we noticed several people come in to pick up their orders. Before coming here, we looked at their menu. Thus, we knew what we wanted when we got here. Service was great. The staff here is friendly and efficient. Our server checked on us more than once during our meal. To drink, my husband ordered a Kirin Light beer while I ordered a glass of plum wine. Some Japanese places fill the glass too high, but here, the portion size was reasonable. I ordered "the poke bowl". I chose salmon for my fish. This bowl consists of "Sushi-grade fish topped with vegetables, mixed with poke sauce over a choice of mixed greens or rice". I chose the rice. Before coming here, I looked up "poke sauce." I found a website called "pokebowlny.com." This is the description they gave: "traditional poke sauce blends soy sauce, sesame oil, and often rice vinegar, along with aromatics like garlic and ginger. This classic combination makes the fish taste fresher, the vegetables more vibrant, and the rice more flavorful." The vegetables in the bowl were kernel corn, seaweed salad, and cucumbers. I really enjoyed having this meal! All the flavors worked well together. I look forward to having it again. Along with the poke bowl, a bowl of miso soup is included. That, too, was quite good, and it came to the table quite warm. My husband ordered "Tuna Don," which consists of "fresh tuna sashimi over rice & vegetables. His entrée came with both miso soup and a small side salad. The bowl had a big slice of radish, some seaweed salad, and the usual shredded daikon. The wasabi was really spicy - he could feel it in his nose and sinus cavity - it'll take your head off. The generous portion of tuna was large with thicker slices than he'd ever seen before.
