Decided to try this place out with a friend for lunch. Overall, my experience was okay. The location was smaller than I expected with maybe roughly 10 to 12 tables. The menu was very extensive serving Japanese and Korean dishes. I started off with the Yellow Tail Collar for my appetizer. I was excited when I saw the size of the portion being served to me. Although, it was very dry which was a let down. It was also a bit bland as well. For my main dish I got a rice bowl, an unagi bowl to be exact. Again, it was just adequate. Thankfully the bowl was a generous amount of food. Sadly, it was just a bit one dimensional and I got tired of eating it after awhile. Also, I felt like the bones were a little more pronounced than what I am use to when eating eel. Therefore, my experience was average. I may give it another shot if I am in the area again. read more

BEWARE OF LUNCH. We have had dinner from here and I thought the sushi was really good. However, 2 out of the 3 times I have been here for lunch portions, look, and taste were terrible. Attached is a picture of the what the Lion King Roll is supposed to look like and what we received. The crab meat on top looks like a spaghetti. The end pieces of the roll (that didn't have the tail) were all avocado and not even a little shrimp, I know that skimping out on the ends is normal but no shrimp at all is ridiculous. After eating two pieces my stomach has been hurting for the last 7 hours. The last time we got lunch from here the rolls we normally love did not taste the same, but at least they didn't get us sick so we thought maybe it was unlucky. They need to fire whoever is making the rolls during lunch because this quality control is terrible. read more

Gave this spot a try for lunch and got the 8 piece sushi combo lunch special, takoyaki and a bowl of ramen. We wanted to order something else but the waitress was all over the place and was not paying attention to what we were saying. Sushi tasted fresh, for the 8 pieces of sushi you can't pick what you want, it's whatever the chef feels like making which is a downer. The salmon roll that came with it was meh as well. Takoyaki was ok, it was soft and a little bit crunchy but once you bite into it, the filling was ice cold. Ramen was ok, didn't really have flavor in the broth. Impressive.... Ordered from here, their online menu definitely needs to be checked out...theirs pictures of everything - all the rolls, everything you can order. Ordering online was easy, with options for extras and choices. My order came at the promised time. My only complaint - there were NO CHOPSTICKS. I ordered the Salmon Crunch, 911, Crunchy Tiger, and OMG - these rolls came up most frequently in the reviews. Must say the reviews were on point ! ! I also enjoyed Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, a nice appetizer. The Crispy Squid legs were a little tough, though I did enjoy them... not an item on most sushi menus. They have combos, platters, poke bowls, Japanese and Korean dishes, and an assortment of beers, sakes, and wines. I ordered the Rose roll and Tuna lover. I really enjoyed both rolls!!! I come here very often and try to switch it up every so often trying different tuna rolls on their menu. My favorite was definitely the two I got today. The spring roll was yummy and the green tea they gave me today was actually really goooood!! Especially cause I am a tea snob and I don't like cheap Lipton type of tea bags because it lacks quality. The service was good, I was the only person eating there that Sunday. Came here with my wife for lunch. Service from the staff was awesome. Food-wise, meh. Among the items we ordered, the best for us was the Baked Green Mussels. The shrimp tempura was overcooked and I think they don't use the same type of flour usually used by real Japanese restaurants. The soup base of Donkotsu Ramen was diluted. With authentic ramen, you come away with a yummy sticky feeling in your mouth after drinking the soup because of the collagen melted from the bones into the soup. Watched Attorney Woo a K-drama and whole family has been craving kimbap (Korean sushi roll). Was trying to find a local place to get our fix and order three kimbap rolls online for pickup. No veggie version so can't comment on how it was but family says it was pretty good. Good value for freshly made. I've always ordered veggie bimbimbap from this location and I have to comment that it had a few kind of non-standard veggie ingredients recently - almost like fajita vegetables, and a bit too much lettuce which I've never liked in this dish. Also, it's always been this way from the beginning, there is no kimchee which I think is a big miss. I also tried the crazy vege roll which was interesting, never had cream cheese in a roll, even when I was a meat eater. I'm surprised seeing so many excellent reviews,because my experience was quite different. On the positive side are prices,for our times their prices are reasonable and affordable. Fish was fresh,rolls are diverse. That's it for positive. Place is outdated,shabby and small,restaurant was overcrowded,understaffed and people were standing in line very close to tables,so atmosphere was not existent. The only server was overwhelmed and in the middle of the dinner she poured whole glass of iced water on my husband's neck,back,shoes and on the food itself. Do you think that we get any compensation for this horrible situation? Nope,just smile with apologies and nothing else like this was a part of experience. They brought the rolls out on this boat and I would say the presentation was spot on! All the food was delicious. This place was very covid friendly and I would recommend to any passerby craving sushi. The speciality roll I purchased, with spicy tuna and yellowtail, although simple, was delicious. The ginger was fresh, the fish was fresh (no fishy smell), so no complaints here! I cannot comment on the wasabi since I did not enjoy it with my sushi. Each piece of fish had a dollop of sriracha and a slice of jalapeño, pleasantly spicy for someone who is a fan of space. My only qualm was the price, it did not feel like a 15 dollar roll. It had shrimp tempura and crab meat and some spicy mayo on top. It had a lot of flavor and it was fresh for sure. I also tried the Philly roll and I wasn't a huge fan of that roll because the salmon on top tasted a little bit too fishy for my liking! However, the spring rolls were really good even though they only give you two per order which I feel is a little bit too small of a serving size. My favorite dish was the chicken fried rice for sure! They give you a massive serving and it honestly could last four meals for one person. The fried rice was not dry at all but fluffy and had a ton of sweet corn in it. Yum!
