Now understand I'm not a fan of chocolate and peanut butter together unless it's the traditional Reese's cups but these just looked so yummy. So I was called over and pushed myself to try something new in the process too. My normal Matcha order consists of espresso and caramel or brown sugary syrups and flavors. However, I stepped outside my comfort zone and went for the Iced Strawberry Matcha. It was a very interesting drink. It didn't give me matcha at all, it gave me more so strawberry milk. It wasn't my personal taste but it was very refreshing. The Chocolate Peanut Butter cookie was very much so my personal taste. This cookie was so amazing and I didn't even have to eat it warmed up! The flavors went together well and the chocolate wasn't one dimensional. I would go back just for the cookies! I should also add the customer service was knock it out of the park, in tip top shape. She was very nice and attentive to my needs as a customer.

When searching for a place to imbibe, I was surprised to see a boba shop here in the first place, since this neck of the woods isn't exactly known as a hotbed for Taiwanese or East Asian culture as a whole. To be perfectly honest, I rarely if ever patronize mall boba shops even back home, as I know there are better options elsewhere, but since I was running on fumes at this point, I had to find something, and Komma appeared in front of me like the mirage in the desert. And ultimately, I'm glad I took the plunge! I ordered a simple honey green milk tea with no ice and 1/4 sugar, and it was just the perfect refreshment to hit the spot. Business was quite slow, as I was the only customer, but the lone bobarista working there was friendly, helpful, and efficient. When I came to pick it up, they had completely forgotten my order. I told myself it wasn't a big deal--mistakes happen. What really bothered me was that the owner didn't make any gesture of goodwill to make up for the mistake. Not even offering something small for free as an apology. I ended up without my birthday cake, and they ended up losing a very good customer.
