One of the main things I like about it is how you can get labs done by just walking in anytime. You don't need an appointment. You just walk in and wait. If there's a line, they can give you a time to come back. Or, if there's no line, you can just sit in the waiting room. It's very nice to have a lab on site, and you don't have to deal with the whole Sonora Quest adventure that a lot of us Arizonans deal with. I've seen two nurse practitioners there. Both of them were helpful. And not only did they show good bedside manner--if I'm able to use that term, despite not actually being in a hospital bed--but they also were quick to respond to my messages on the app. The service here is painless. No pun intended. It's easy to make an appointment. Their app is very well-designed. And this location is clean and friendly. I would recommend One Medical if you're looking for a simple primary care experience.

But whoever is handling the billing lately is so rude, am not sure what happened. Maybe they outsourced it? I've never had an issue until recently. I called to clarify a charge that didn't seem like it was coded correctly. The person I spoke to on the phone was obviously busy with so many other things in the background and seemed annoyed and said she'd pass along my concern. I asked in the app and the person who replied was extremely rude as well, when I was just looking for clarification. Apparently a Saturday appointment triggers an extra $87 charge as "after hours" even though that was never disclosed and it shows on the website that they are opening alternate Saturdays (again with no mention of it being an extra fee or extra hours.) It wasn't an emergency and we didn't need to go on a Saturday. I just think that it should be disclosed somewhere that an extra fee will be incurred. My first inquiry in the app received a very patronizing "non-answer" to my question. The AI in the app is great but it doesn't handle billing. AI isn't always helpful but at least it's not rude or insulting. After the back and forth, I logged in to pay the balance that I should not have owed, but I chalked it up to a lesson learned. It showed zero balance. That was a few weeks ago, and today I got a bill in the mail showing the outstanding balance again. The providers and the quality of care are amazing. I just felt insulted the way I was treated by the billing people, and that's left a bad taste in my mouth. I would definitely recommend One Medical but be warned that billing might be a hassle now that I guess it's being handled by new people.

Dr. Glick is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), certified in Functional Medicine that has a membership only practice. Here's what that means: Osteopathic doctors practice all areas of medicine but have special training in your body's musculoskeletal system. DO's focus on prevention and keep more up to date on advances in medical technology. Functional Medicine focuses on adding what the body is missing or lacking (nutrients, vitamins, hormones etc.) and removing what the body doesn't need via detoxification. In a way, it's another level of commitment to looking at the complexity of an individual and their health. Lastly, a Member's Only practice is where you pay to be a part of a practice up front or on a monthly basis. You might not be used to that idea, but first and foremost, Dr. Glick is committing to you as a patient. Tia IS THE BEST! She literally saved my botched brows! I had my eyebrows microbladed in California by someone who charged me a ridiculous amount and completely ruined my face basically, I had to try to hide these eyebrows in every way possible and then when they faded a bit they faded to a horrid red color! Not to mention they were ridiculously close together! I was so disappointed and felt like nothing could be done until I came across Pretty In Ink and saw the before and after pictures and fell in love! Immediately I booked an appointment. On the day of my first appointment with Tia I was so scared because of my previous experience and explained to her what happened and my concerns she took a look at my brows and said she could fix them and would totally not touch them unless she knew she could make them better she gave me so much advice on how to care for my brows and what I should and shouldn't use around them things I never knew and was never informed of by my previous microblader. I trusted her and let her do her thing and I'm so glad I did!! Now after my perfection appointment my brows are amazing I didn't think it was possible I literally don't even have to fill them in at all! I found Tia on Instagram initially when I decided I wanted to get my brows microbladed. I was obsessed with her work and after looking at other people decided to go with her. She is so knowledgeable and good at what she does. I was terrified to get it done, not knowing what to expect but she made the experience comfortable. We just talked the whole time which helped keep my mind off the microblading. There is a numbing involved, unfortunately it doesn't work well for me but I have already gone for 1 yearly touch up and will continue to go because it's amazing having microbladed brows! After my first appointment I felt like the work was completely fading and like the ink was not taking. I panicked and Tia called me to ask questions on what was happening and assured me everything that was happening was normal. Sure enough it all worked out. She was extremely professional at the appointment. We discussed my eyebrows and she drew what would become my new brows. We proceeded only after I had decided that the new brow design was just what I wanted. She applied local numbing cream so I didn't feel any pain. I found out about Tia Marie from a mutual contact who had her beautiful brows done at Pretty in Ink. I have had microblading done previously with fairly good but very temporary results. I phoned Tia and had a very informative phone consultation, if you will. She informed me of why my results were so temporary and educated me on her process and follow up procedures. I am in love with my new brows. I am a natural blonde and my eyebrows and lashes are so white that they are pretty much see through. I used to have to tint my brows every 10 days and then still use a pencil or powder or whatever else to fill them in daily. Not any more!!! Tia did an amazing job and my brows look amazing!! Best decision ever! Although i am naturally a dark brown hair girl, my eyebrows are very light in color and out of shape. Tia was the best, we took our time deciding the shape that matches my features and went for it. I chose combo brows with strokes and shading too, More of a makeup look.
