We agreed on the price and in the process of completing the paperwork. The sales person then called to let us know the vehicle was sold to another buyer because another person agreed to pay above our negotiated price. How does that happen? They didn't even give us an opportunity to counter. This vehicle was being purchased by my son who is serving in the US Air Force. How do you treat a person serving our country with such disdain? This was disgraceful and dishonest. The management team made the decision to not honor a deal that was negotiated. The General Manager, Chris didn't even have the respect to take my call. Purchased a car here several months ago that has racked up $5000 in repairs (almost half of the purchase price).. This last one is $3000 and conveniently, they won't cover all of it. When I tried to turn on the ac it didn't work, once this happened we took it into a local shop where they recommended taking it to a dealership. We called this dealership and they said it should be covered. Great. Well it wasn't and then they gave us the run around we left a bad review and I tried contacting them myself. I was able to get ahold of Nick who also said it should be covered. Also wrong. Called him back after talking to our service provider and he said "Well maybe if you called us before leaving a bad review we'd do something." But we did. Now I have a car in the shop where I still owe $2000. After buying 4 cars in 4 years from autonation you'd think they would have at least tried to give decent customer service. I sincerely feel that the inspection was not done well I bought a dud of a car that no one wants to take responsibility for. read more

They said it wasn't accurate and also provided some BS that I needed new tires even though tread life is still a healthy 5/32. I went next door to Echo Park and they said the tires were fine and offered me $2200 more than what the Kelly Blue Book cash offer was. So, blessing in disguise. My sales experience with Avondale AutoNation was far from stellar! Be prepared for a purchase to take hours if not days. If you are physically there, at least they talk to you. Once you leave, good luck!!! I can't reach anyone by phone and unfortunately to have items fixed has to be done where you purchase car. I live 4 hours away! Big mistake. The after sale service is non existent. So far it has taken 2 days and I still don't have an appointment to fix the 2 small issues. I hope the 30 day warranty doesn't expire before this is fixed. I contacted the dealer with a very reasonable offer to correct their mistake, General Manager Christopher Block declined to take responsibility and make it right. We had to fight for a rental car even though we had warranty and now a week later the car is shutting off. BUYER BEWARE. I live in las vegas and wanted a specific vehicle this dealer had. I go to see the truck and put a down payment and was told I have to wait until the cars ready. no problem. after waiting a week and a half of terrible communication the car is finally ready. I fly to go and pick it up and as soon as I get in there's a check engine light. I had to still drive it back with risk of overheating. along with the check engine light, one of my headlight bulbs is out and my brake rotors are very worn/burnt. all these problems after a week and a half to make sure the car is "safe". needless to say I am very dissatisfied with this dealer. their salesman will lead you on and keep everything vague so you have no clue what's going on and the auto technician is clueless when it comes to servicing a car. throughout this deal I was never offered any sort of compensation, not even a ride from the airport. I was told to drive it back with the problems and get it serviced at an autonation here. thankfully I have made it back but I will update this review depending on how the autonation here in las vegas makes up for this locations terrible excuse for service. im also a technician and I can tell you the problems i found are safety concerns, not to mention it shouldn't take a day let alone a week and a half for any of these to be completed. the car should not have been released in the condition it was in or at least without an inspection report. I didn't even receive a dealer plate because they couldn't figure out how to print it. I can go on about this dealers incompetence but in short DO NOT ignore the other bad reviews. I still gave them a chance because of the car I wanted and it was not worth it. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE. UPDATE: I went to the autonation here in las vegas to have my damages fixed on warranty. they could not find me in the system and so contacted this autonation where I bought the vehicle. they recieved a message back from Anthony Arcuri basically saying that a new employee gave me the warranty by mistake. mind you this is the warranty brandon the salesman gave me on paper. in writing. due to the technician causing damages to the vehicle. at this point anthony and brandon are both ignoring and doing everything they can to avoid talking to me. now i've been forced to take it to corporate who i'm waiting to hear back from along with my attorney. all this headache for a few minor damages this dealership caused and refuse to fix their mistake. read more

Purchased a Jeep Compass from this dealer about a year ago, a 2017 model with the extended warranty. In less than four months, the car experienced a transmission breakdown. I reached out to the warranty provider, which was Autonation, only to find out they wouldn't cover the repair. They cited that this dealer had previously fixed the issue before selling it, and it failed under their supervision. Took the Jeep to Autonation Avondale, and after waiting for a whole month, they eventually addressed an axle problem (not the transmission) as per the warranty terms. Fast forward twelve months, and guess what? The same transmission problem resurfaced. Once again, the warranty refused to cover the repairs, attributing it to the dealer's repeated oversight. I had to pay for the repairs out of my own pocket. This dealership sold me a Jeep Compass with pre-existing issues including a heater core problem and broken actuators, which they conveniently chose not to address. And now, a recurring transmission problem to add to the list. If your time and hard-earned money hold any importance to you, I strongly advise steering clear of these untrustworthy folks. Anyone familiar with Autonation's practices knows their game - they'll gladly take your money and time, leaving you with regrets. Look elsewhere for your automotive needs. read more

Buying a car nowadays is even harder than it used to be if you want a large selection of vehicles, same day purchase, and being able to see and drive the vehicle before you commit to buy. I have bought cars from many different dealers and most recently through Carmax and Carvana. I had great experiences but this time I wanted more. I wanted a specific car and wanted it same day. I was driving through the Avondale auto mall and stumbled on the ONLY full lot on the block. I pulled in and sat in my car surfing their website. I saw the car I wanted and I hopped out of the car and received warm greetings from Gavin. He listened to what I wanted and what I had as a preapproved offer from Carvana. He spoke to his manager Matt and they pulled through. The car I wanted was at the Chandler lot but I didn't want to come back after they went to pick it up. They offered me to ride along to Chandler and test drive the vehicle back to their lot. The experience was amazing and Gavin and Matt were amazing along the way. Then I was handed off to Nicole in finance and she sealed the deal. Not only was everyone polite and made me feel welcome, I got an AMAZING deal. I didn't have to haggle because they gave me what I wanted for my trade and the new car was 1k less than any competition locally and over 3k less than Carvana. Thanks Gavin, Matt and Nicole!! I have purchased quite a few cars at dealerships and have usually experienced the typical frustration, but understood the process. However, this location has proven to be the worst in pretty much every area. I picked my car and paid in cash but still spent 3 hours waiting for the sale to happen. This may have been because the salesman was inept and reading from a script. I then spent time with someone who sold me a completely useless "additional$" policy to cover what I thought were simple issues. Then finding out that the policy is not actually insurance and completely useless. Ok. out $1500. Now 45 days go by and my temp tags expire. I call 2 days before and am told to call back when they expire and I will be sent an extension. I have been calling for a week, multiple times, put on hold, hung up on, (3 times) and more importantly NOT getting a call back from the only person who (apparently) is able to do what I need done. I still don't have a car with my name on the registration. Do not buy a car from these guys! DC read more

Update...Still no satisfactory response, 10 days ago they claimed they had a mileage error when processing my title work hmmmm. Several more emails with no response from the General Manager Christopher Block. My research into this shows they probably sold a car they didn't have clear title too. They have offered nothing to get this resolved. In a few days I will have a vehicle I cant legally drive, I would be surprised to see yet another temp tag showing up in my e-mail. I am sure the state of Arizona as well as the lender they lined up would be curious about this practice, or lack thereof. I really feel sorry for my sales guy he was great, now he is dealing with his employers lack of professionalism and sketchy business practices. In looking at other reviews I see a HUGE pattern. Is zero stars an option?! I bought a car from them and the associate was great but that's the only thing that was! They sold me a car that was broken in the frame, they didn't even know how to tighten a battery and the tires were on the last leg. I had to figure out the issue with the battery myself and fix it myself. They forced warranties on me. Didn't tell me the cost just rushed me to sign so they can go home. Now I tried to use the warranty for the tires and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get them replaced. So if you want to buy a horrible car horrible service and be forced to pay thousands more then you were told then go here. I even tried to handle this a day after signing and was just ignored. The Manager laughs in your face when you express your concerns. Prepare for you to spend all day if you are paired with him as your representative. Don't expect the General Manager to help deescalate situations , he hides in his office and avoids customers, he is not confrontational.Only way to get anything taken serious is to get law enforcement involved! Stay away! I had a horrible experience dealing with them. They will not honor their word and have no integrity. I purchased a vehicle from them at the beginning of August. During the test drive, I noticed the left tires were both a little low and mentioned it to the salesman. He assured me nothing was wrong and to just air them up. I repeatedly mentioned the tires during the buying process and was assured I would be taken care of if anything was found wrong with them. The following days, the tires kept getting low, so I called and brought it in for them to check it out. Somehow, they didn't find anything wrong. I then decided to go a autonation service center. It turns out there is a screw embedded between the tread on the inside near the edge of the tire. This means it can't be repaired. Avondale autonation refuses to help cover any cost even though I was assured they would help me out. Do not trust anything they say as they will do anything to get your money and get you out the door. I will tell all friends and family to stay away from this dealer. read more

Before I get all negative with this review, let me list the few positives I've experienced at this branch. Our salesman, Isaac, was very attentive and did a great job of selling us a vehicle. We brought up the issue with stains on the ceiling, and we were told that we would get a call to schedule a detailing. Every thing was speedy and efficient. We were in and out within a few hours. But that's where our great customer service ends. My wife didn't notice that the wheels weren't aligned during her test drive (call it infatuation with the new car). The steering wheel had to be at a 10:30 position to even drive straight. She called the branch multiple times but was getting the run around. A week has gone by. We still never got a call back for the detailing. I had to speak to a manager to explain my frustration just to get somewhere. An appointment was made to align the wheels and for detailing. This location is an hour away from our home, but no big deal. Everything will be dealt with and we'll be done with them. Nope. The wheels were aligned but the ceiling was still a mess. After more calls and emails... no response. Good luck to those buying a vehicle from here. Once they get that cash, they'll close the doors on you. read more
