Called Eclipse for a quote on a new hood I had purchased from Home Depot. Sean said he'd be by between 10 and 11 and that he'd call half hour prior to let me know he was on his way. He called the next day and showed up when he said. He had all the tools and hardware necessary to do the job. He climbed through my attic to re-rout the vents since I had moved my stove to a different location. He also had to add a plug for the new hood location. Sean and Kyle are best of the best. I purchased a dishwasher on Lowe's. It was delivered at last Friday. And Lowe's will not install it until Wednesday. I was desperate because I have a lot of dishes piled up. I started to scribe installation companies anywhere close by to get anyone come in today. I passed across Eclipse but did not call it because of several bad reviews. Then I called several other services and all ended up disappointed. Out of panic, I finally called Eclipse. First they said they can only install it at Wednesday. However, Sean and Kyle tightened up their schedule and got it installed today, just when I am writing this review. Was not impressive enough? They are super good! I called around noon, and then around 5pm, they squeezed to send one guy to accomendate my last minute request. He installed a gas range, cleaned and hauled away to fully meet my needs. They charged reasonably. I will hire them again when I have the need and will refer them to my friends. I picked up my new over-the-range microwave from Lowe's at 11:00 AM, and called Eclipse at 12:00 noon to set up an installation appointment. Sean, the owner of Eclipse, arrived at 6:00 PM the same day, with an installation technician-in-training. Sean trains all his employees himself. The tech removed my old machine and its support brackets, put all old items in the truck, installed new brackets and microwave, all within 30 minutes. Quick, efficient, super professional. Their price of $100 I think is quite reasonable. Interestingly, when they first arrived, I asked Sean if they took the toll road. He replied that they had to because of the bad freeway traffic. I asked how much was the toll. When he said $10, I told him to add it onto his bill. He refused! Wow! Integrity to boot! read more

Scheduled a vent hood installation with Sean. Easy process and appreciated Sean's professionalism and his price was in line with others I reached out to. Sean showed up on time and clearly he is a pro with these vent hood installs. Here's where it gets a bit muddy. My vent hood had to be cut to fit my low kitchen ceiling. Sean stated he cannot and will not cut the vent hood stack even though there are youtube videos that clearly show this is done all the time and with relative ease. We mutually decided to go our separate ways and I had another installer come out and cut the vent hood stack in 7 minutes with a small dremel saw. Very clean and zero install issues. I gave Sean 4 stars for being a true professional and walking away from the job that he was not comfortable doing. Make sure to consult with Sean before he comes out if you need any metal fabrication completed prior to install. read more

I have made several improvements to my home over the last year or so and these guys are the best when it comes to plumbing. They installed new shutoff valves, faucets and toilets in both my bathroom and the quality of their work is over the top. I am very hard to please when it comes to paying to have a contractor do work in my home. Since they are the professionals, I expect nothing less than the best quality and workmanship, otherwise I would just do it myself. The crew from Eclipse was very professional and took their time to ensure that everything was done to perfections and nothing was overlooked. They didn't cause damage to anything or leave a mess after they were done. I wish I could say the same about some of the other contractors I have worked with over the past year. Purchased appliances from Lowe's and Sean was the installer for my dishwasher and microwave. He was able to install my microwave but needed to come back out for the dishwasher as I had not had my sink installed because I still needed my countertops to go in. About a week later Kyle came out and installed my dishwasher. We also had him finish installing our sink for us. He was able to hook up everything below, install faucet, change three valves AND he cleaned & wiped up everything. I had my new gas range installed last Saturday (7/8/17) but because I previously had a wall oven with a stovetop the gas line/pipe was making my new range stick out about 2 inches. I called Sean to see if it was possible to move the line/pipe, he came out today Tuesday (7/11/17) and VIOLA he was able to do it. The best thing I can say about these two guys is that they communicated with me from start to finish. They let me know date & estimated time they would be here. Called when they were on their way. Checked out what they had to do before the job started and if anything came up they let me know ahead of time. Of course nothing major came up but just even letting me know that my new range would not be "flush" against the wall due to backsplash (that still needs to be put in) and the way the back of range was built with these pushed out pockets. Also he asked me if I had "cured" the oven before using it. He explained it to me and my first thought was Lowe's installers didn't even tell me this! Will definitely call Eclipse again if needed AND refer them to anyone if asked! read more

Hired them about a month ago because my already installed hood was making loud noise. Well I am not happy with the service not because he was not able to fix this but because: 1- He seemed rushed and moved stuffs around so fast and not was not careful. He dinged the spare hood I had bought from home depot. (I was able to return it anyways but still...) 2- He wrestled with our hood in order to take it off our backslpashed wall. The night before my friend and I were able to take it off with just some patience. He was not patient at all and seemed very frustrated with the screws so that he cut them and they fell somewhere between our exterior wall and drywall. 3- He damaged the screw area on the wall so that when he put the hood back up, it was not level anymore. 4- Hood installation is not a one person job. Hood is heavy and one person alone can't hold and install it. The hood was hitting the adjacant cabinet walls all the time during the install. I did not feel cofrotable with his service at all and I wish I had stopped him the very first moment I saw these signs. When I stopped him it was already late and was charged $80.... He figured out how to fix the noise at last but i didn't want him to touch the wall anymore... I give him 2 stars because he showed up on time and used special sealing foil/wrap. read more

Sean went above and beyond by giving me installation advice for my old ovens which we ended up installing ourselves into my mom's house, 60 miles away. He even offered to deliver and install them at a reasonable rate, considering the time that would be involved in traveling. These guys are the best and I highly recommend them. Cody called ahead, arrived on time, and was very knowledgeable. He gave me important and helpful information about all of my new appliances as he installed them. I had been under-quoted on my hood, but he stuck with the original quote, which was very nice. He and Sean were also very careful with my new cabinets and floors which I was really happy about. They were so good about clean up that when I asked Sean to take what I thought was part of my refrigerator box, he was totally willing. I quickly realized it was not part of the box, but an old piece of cabinetry I was saving with our kids' height measurements on it! The best is, he was going to actually haul off this big piece of wood paneling, no questions asked. It was like I was saying here, take my other trash too, haha, and he was like ok. Too cool. Cody also answered a question about my already installed washer and dryer which I really appreciated. I am so glad I called Eclipse Appliance! Kyle and Cody just left and were able to complete a VERY complicated dishwasher install. I had to get my dishwasher replaced, but when Home Depo came to drop off and install they said they couldn't do it since the tile needed to be cut and a valve needed to be replaced. Eclipse called me back very timely and said they offer tile cutting and are also licensed plumbers which would take care of any valve issues. On install day the men were very professional and so polite. They were able to install our dishwasher, which was almost too big considering we have old tile countertops which hang down a little. I honestly don't know how they did it, but I am so grateful. I was expecting them to have to cut tile or do something drastic, but they figured out a work around and got it in. I'm so happy I called them! I will be recommending them to all my family and friends! read more
